Our strategy for Mine and Dine level 16-2 is to lob the first Black bird between the first and second towers. The explosion should demolish both of them. Lob the next Black bird through the wooden plank holding the circular saw blade. Detonate the bird at the bottom of the trough to trigger the TNT and level the third tower. If the right tower remains, fire the last Black bird head-on into it. The score in the video below is 141,030.

Aim the first bomb between the second and third structure. This destroys almost everything except for the last structure far right. Second bird gets all of the last structure.
I am sure a higher score can be had.

One bird only. Dropped it between the second and third tower. Second tower fell to the left, the round concrete ball flew into the last tower. Everything came tumbling down.
Lowest scores I’m getting with this method is 137k+ using two birds. Usually, its around 147k+.
159 k with this method at first shot (by mistake, trying to replicate video). 139k+ 2 birds left. Hard to replicate, but if you’re not going for a high score worth some tries.
I reset this level and walked away from my phone. When I came back the entire right side was gone. If I had placed my first bird correctly, I think it would’ve got me close to 160k or more.
There’s a glitch in this level. It takes a while (up to 5 minutes), but then the rotating wheel will wear down the structure on the far left and destroy that tower – 52.000 points+ without a single bird :)
That takes a lot of patience, but it’s a good trick. Good find.
Out of curiosity, how did you happen by this? Did you walk away from your device for a few minutes and come back to find destruction?
It’s very subtle at first, but you’ll see the horizontal cement planks under the lower pig start to separate, the boulder on top moving ever so slightly back and forth. After about 5 minutes, the weight of the boulder causes the structure to split and fall left and right. If the pebbles set off the tnt below, it’s possible to get over 50K!
I saw the spinning wheel self destruct myself today – gave me 148K, but didn’t give me a high score. Cool to see it.
I have a couple of screen captures of the self collapse uploaded to my album. So far this is acting like a fourth bird by taking out the far right side of the level, leaving the remaining two towers for the three bomb birds. If done correctly, it allows for greater debris destruction.
I was considering where to place the first bird when I noticed the piglet on the left wobbling and then started to pay attention. (and of course, in my post above I meant far right, not left x-) )
However, I have never managed to get a higher score than with the usual method.

Destruction is more important than remaining birds, I got 151k without any birds left, if you think the amount of debris left holds more than 10k, launch your birds.
If you aim to get highscores of 150k+ your first bird should explode the 3 tnts and take down the left structure. Your score should be around 105k+. If not simply aim at the debris on the left to get to around 115k+ if necessary. Then aim the third bird to the right structure.
To increase your chances of getting the first shot right aim the first bird to the horizontal concrete block between the second and third structures and manually explode the bomb bird just above the horizontal block (don’t let the horizontal block break because the bomb gets too low).
Very similar to video only slight alteration of positioning and detonation. First bird between first and second tower, slightly closer to the first. Detonate when the bird is just above the square block – both towers completely destroyed with little debris. Second bird closer to last tower. Detonate higher, after breaking wooden plank holding saw, detonate when touching stone plank. Last three structures destroyed, 155K + 10K remaining bird = 165,000.

1st bird difficult to place, but once you get good destruction, the 2nd bird is easy and clears the rest. one extra bird = 10k
I find it easiest to fire the first bomb into the bottom of the first tower, detonate it. You will need the second tower to crumble as well and take those pigs out residing within.
Second bomb send on a higher arc so that it touches it two wooden triangles from the third tower. Let it detonate naturally and you should get around 136k+, plus the extra bird for my total of 146,260.
It was just a march from left to right.
1. Black bird into the bottom of the left structure.
2. Black bird into the bottom left of the second structure from left side.
3. Black bird hit the wood plank holding the saw and activate right below it which knocks the third structure to the left and the fouth structure to the right.
All tnt was activated. Gained 2k in points.
Sweet!! @wrw01 I had a pretty decent score but I was pretty low on the boards so I tried every single strat up here to see if I could jump it up from the 600s to higher and when I did yours well what do you know! Went waaay up to the 100s!! Haha OB put another on wrw01s tab eh!! ;)

Well let’s have a lesson on ‘ how to mess up a first shot when you’ve got 58k free points already on the board..the rightmost tower collapses almost every time after about 3-4 minutes but the great flinger that i am keeps missing the shot. My post is to verify the self-collapse still works and my question is , if you get the self collapsing third tower where then do you aim ? Any help greatly appreciated..Ohhhh and is it worth it point wise or are you better off just shooting..ty:)
Two birds – first bird between the third and fourth tower, at grinding wheel level – detonated the left most tnt, blew off the top of the second tower, which toppled the first tower. Delayed explosion of the 2nd tnt, both crystals gone,, with a score above 120000. Skimmed the debris of the first tower to nestle in lower aspect of 2nd tower, projecting it everywhere and adding 36000+ to score. Last bomber bonus. Debris left, so scores above 170000 possible with luck.
