Angry Birds Surf and Turf Level 22 Walkthrough

A good strategy for Surf and Turf level 22 is to fling the red bird up at the highest stone boulder. Hit it hard enough and you’ll take out the top pig and the boulder will roll down and take out the pig in the fishing hat as well. Now finishing off the pigs by firing the blue bird straight ahead at the glass structure — again hitting it hard enough so the boulder rolls down and lands on the pig below. The score in the video below is 56,300.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

Quake first. The left and top boulders must fall off to the right.

Red bird, kill the first pig right in front of you. Perhaps super seed him, to see if he will go all the way through the ice, and break up even more debris in the pit.

Blue bird – aim him so that he kills top pig, breaks ice, and follows through to hit the far right boulder, and hope that smashes a bit of wood and glass way over there.

Yes, I’ve been playing the Facebook app quite a lot! lol

The description above by Slim is different from the video. The strategy by Slim (red bird to the higher boulder) worked better for me.

I’m not sure it matter which way you try it. I’ve been alternating between the video method and Slim’s text strat and getting fairly consistent results and similar scores. So it all boils down to whichever method you find easier. Or so it seems to me, anyway.

67k here. Curious… how do we have a first place score other than Slim, when the ABO leaderboards are down right now because they are being worked on? I don’t understand.

Went after top boulder first and caught a lucky bounce taking down boulder on far right which added more points for top score. Second bird cleaned up the pigs on the left.

adapting the strategy in the video: first bird onto top horizontal of leftmost structure making sure the structure to its right is already damaged (either by the red bird or material falling on top of it) to make the boulder crash through it instead of bounce off it. second bird to top splitting timely to make the lower two birds crash into the top structure, and the top bird fly over it so as to hit the boulder on far right. additional points by the birds bouncing off the boulders and falling on top of the structures below (and for the rightmost one, weakening the bottom right structure before the boulders come crashing through). getting around 20,000 after first bird (26,000 for my highscore thusfar of 70,930) consistenly gives scores in the 60,000-65,000 range.

@vuelva Thank you for the Alternate Strategy. Work great. The Blue Bird provided a challenge is getting the top bird to hit the right stone for the extra points. Your score is outstanding.

Yeah that’s the trick.Instead of hitting the rock I used red bird to smash headlong into 1st structure and the rock plummeted to deal serious damage to the hut down the cliff.Blue bird got rightmost rock and again heavy damage dealt.I think 73K is possible for this level-and I often underestimate judging from S Bonus-9.

Rank: Boss Hog with 12785 points
By AngryAdvisor (@lesleyg)Score: 63,390

lol @ kathy…..what he meant is thst AFTER your first shot you want to have the red bird or debris damage the glass below that sits crooked on top of pig at bottom so that when you send your second shot up to the glass/boulder, the falling boulder will crash through and get him instead of possibly rolling off of the glass if it wasn’t damaged by your first shot.

The trick to a higher score is getting one of the birds from the second shot to fly over and tap the far right boulder which causes it to roll off and get the wood and glass stuff over at the very far right. This will give you the extra points needed for above average scores. GL my friend ;-)

On shot #1 I found the lob much easier, but the flat shot into the horizontal glass plank yielded more points. I struggled with shot #2 for a while, unable to get the top small pig, roll the big boulder down onto the big pig and tip the boulder on the far right peak. Then I tried a higher lob shot and it all came together quickly.

Been trying a different strategy on this one. First bird shoot at a flatter angle at the first structure just below the top horizontal glass piece. If you hit the structure correctly is will cause the red bird to continue through and hit the bottom left structure and with some luck the boulder will slowly roll off the ledge and do additional damage. Can get 22k and 23k consistently but keep screwing up the second shot.

It is indeed quite repeatable and you can get as much as 24k with it on the first shot if the boulder does not get stuck on the left.

Alright folks. I spent some time on this one today to try to break into the top 100 on the boards and this is my PAT. Fully zoomed in. No Powerups.

Red Bird – This is a fun shot to line up. Look at the rock formations in the background. Do you see the little dip about 2 birds behind the slingshot? Pull Red straight back, then down until you see a minimal amount of the trees behind the rocks. Release bird. This should cause red to hit the horizontal ice plank holding the rock of the left structure. Then, it will knock the rock to the right and break down into the pig below. If done correctly, the rock won’t fall from the platform the small structure sits on. Rather, it will fall from the right ice square or a shorter ice plank. The higher the rock is when it falls, the better chances you have of taking out the pig below. The ideal shot here will get 20-22k.
Blue Bird – This is a fun shot, too. There should be a small crack close to the top in the rock the sling stands on. This crack should look like a squiggly line. Pull Blue down to where it looks like if Blue fell out of the sling, it would land in the dip of the crack. Release bird. You want to use your judgement and split Blue to make the top bird go over the highest boulder and clip the rightmost boulder. The middle bird should hit the highest boulder and the bottom will hit the left wooden block the structure sits on. If done correctly. The highest boulder rolls down to take care of the pig in the fishing hat. The rightmost boulder rolls off to the right to take out the dock and you should be sitting pretty.
Red Bird – 10k.

This is a difficult strat to pull of, but it is definitely a test of skill. I actually added an extra 2k to my score writing this PAT.
Good Luck and Happy Flinging!
