Angry Birds Star Wars Tatooine Level 1-20 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Tatooine level 1-20 is to launch Luke high above the first structure towards the two vertical glass blocks. Pull your Light Saber upon impact. The stone and wooden wheels should roll down to the left, detonating the tnt box, and crush the pig-troopers below.

I aimed for the base of the first tower. It makes a 1-bird clear more unlikely but could potentially give more points because it clears the pit of debris a bit more efficiently.

@f91jsw, I did the same having Luke slice up the left metal base, but I found that the 1-Birders are more consistent this way, giving higher scores than with any other approach.

I’m with you @WereWolf69. The key to a 1-birder here is to get Luke to roll along the metal base to the far right. This weakens the base enough so the falling debris breaks through.

I tried a promising strat arcing Luke between the TNT and the slim tower far right, slicing when between them, but my results were only in the low 70k range.

I couldn’t get to three star range doing this, as I would always end up using too many birds. But I do see the value in clearing away the debris. Perhaps noting what part of the metal base you slice awy would be helpful.

@truckdriver, I did specify the left metal “base”, base being the key word here, or in layman’s terms a structure that supports another structure.

@TruckDriver, Forget my previous reply, do it as on the video, it took me about 10 tries, but I did raise my score by 3k+, it’s an attainable 1-Birder, f91jsw’s strat doesn’t always work as it should, it’s more of a fluky thing.

Hi, I have been trying to get 3 stars using the method in the video. I can clear it with 1 birds but my scores were consistant low 70k’s. Out of frustration I tried your method and got my 3 stars the very first time. Thank you! :) For anyone who wants to try this, land the bird right where the 1st metal horizontal bar meets with the 1st metal vertical bar.

I aimed for the space between first horizontal wood block and the vertical wood block on top of it in an attempt to get to the horizontal ice block that balances everything. The bird continues through the bottom middle vertical wood block.

First bird to the short section of the leftmost low horizontal ice plank where the wooden block sits on top of it. Wield the light saber slightly after impact to destroy the bottom right horizontal plank, bringing down the tower and releasing the boulders.

Thanks to our fearless leaders I was able to get 84k following the video. Get Luke down as far as possible before bringing out his handy dandy light saber. That’s all there is to it. After that just sit back and watch it all play out. I tried sending Luke to different areas but found this method best for me. I really like that there are numerous ways to get good scores. SW is fast becoming my favorite AB game to date. Kudos to Rovio.

Yep, the video’s method worked best for me too! It’s a repeatable strategy, and fun to watch as well. Luck plays a bit in this level, as you need lots of debris to be destroyed after the explosion :D

I tried all the strategies detailed here & a couple of my own, but in the end found the video method the most consistent. The green lightsaber probably helps here, a good shot can take out a lot, even all the way down to the rectangular glass holding the discs up. A fun level to watch!

@karen68 i have the green saber now..like you I’ve tried all strats posted improved a bit with f9sjw method but still not enough to get into the 100 club. When i do the video method my wheels don’t roll? Anything you can remember will be helpful:) thanks

@kathy looks like you improved a bit more! This is unfortunately a real rinse & repeat level. I played it for a bit & still got my best scores following the walkthrough. Bouncing Luke off the right side of the roof is ok as long as you time your swing so the sabre goes as deep as possible. Even better if Luke drops straight down after, if he hits the plant at the right side of the lowest horizontal bar it falls, opening up the bottom gap for debris. Also, the quicker the TNT explodes it seems to be better as more of the disks get blown outwards & get damaged/destroyed as opposed to just rolling down.
Sorry I couldn’t be more help, good luck my Jedi friend :)

I took out the prop at the base of the first tower (between horizontal metal and horizontal ice), and as Red Skywalker rolled across I activated the light-sabre. This destroyed both horizontal metal supports, and the resulting collapse does the rest.

I improved +9K :) to 85.110 and recognised so it’s some adaptation to film way with green LS. High lob it’s hard to precisely adjust. Area between glass roof of 1st tower and hanging rock . Clear deep entry with late ignition of GLS or with some mistakes. A key is to colapse left part first and deeply low AND next TNT exploding. With another timing scores are 72-77K but 3* – even with 2B 3*.

hmmmm… well i realized the strat. of the walk-thru, and also tried it (more then) serveral times clearing the base… my score is a bit above the average at 82,580.

I’ve also tried just to see what would happen launching first bird all the way over the “floating” rock and either hitting the TNT with the saber or causeing enuf commotion to set it off…. it pack a punch and can ALMOST level the untouched front structure…. but not quite, lol

I have also tried launching first bird almost straight up and sorta shearing off the front face of the tower…. i believe i have 1-birded it with this method but the points were not there….

I guess my ramblings are more of “non-strategies”…. I do not fail, I succeed in finding what does not work ha-ha…. congrats werewolf…

and please forgive my fragmented comment, but i think that when going for the “clearing the (metalish) base approach”, that of the 2 pieces the one CLOSEST to where you launch the bird may be more imortant then taking out the one closest to the barrier holding back the circles. Although that one may make the release of the circles more likely, when the stuff starts cascading out, it goes a lot further if that one is destroyed then if it is not…. of course destroying both is optimal and i’m pretty sure i have, but it did not lead to any super-score…yet

Ok I can use the light sabre and knock out the double glass wall as in the video BUT the wheels do not move! I have tried this for hours with no luck. Also tried taking out the base as described above. Any additional suggestions for those using a PC? I just want to get 3 stars. This is the one level I can’t seem to get enough points. I’ve gotten 74,770 and can’t even seem to replicate that now…
