Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #4 (Day 4, released on January 3rd) Week 3 which began on December 31st, 2012. Our strategy is to quickly fling Luke above the floating platform, so that he lands at the base of the middle structure. Trigger the lightsaber after impact. With some luck, Luke should be able to push both structures to the right and have the steel wheel roll to the left, destroying all the pigs on the ground. Use a second bird to clear the last floating pig. The score in the video below is 71,370.

Power-up strategy:
1. Use Clone Bird + Blaster Droid
2. Shoot Luke exactly like video but BD kills the top pig also and lands in between the base of the 1st and 2nd towers.
3. Destruction ensues and everything gets destroyed resulting in a one birder.
Fun Fact: Every level allows upto max 3 power-ups. Above strategy requires two, if a free score boost is needed another CB can be used for extra 10K

You’re right, I find these tournament levels hard to play.
And the fact that you loose a cristal each time you fail doesn’t help much either.
But with patience we will get there.

This is next to impossible. I do just what’s in the video but my bird disappears too quickly and the far right bird survives. There’s got to be another way.
gotta agree with ya on this one. however, every walkthrough i have found for this level shows a different way….and none can get me above 70K … even tried using every powerup, to no avail. powerups on this level are as useless as birdquakes in ABF. whoever set the score pars for this level is one mean person.
I have to agree with you guys. Only once have I knocked down the right tower with the first bird and even then it didn’t do enough damage to get a 3-star score.
Finally hit a 3* on this one.. if i can replicate it while recording i will post the video
I hereby invoke the Whine Factor. This level’s doing my head in. I keep going back and I’m waiting for a note to pop up saying “Not you again!” I was already using the Walkthrough method so sadly it didn’t help this time as I’ve only managed to get the right hand side tower to fall with that 1st bird, 3 times and then it didn’t cause the destruction that Sal was lucky enough to get. I’m reluctant to spend my gold coins on more crystals yet as I’ve still got a little bit of time left. Also, 100 credits for a measly 10 crystals is very expensive. My current 2 star score is 67,600 so I only need another 400 points.
I’m usually a “never say die” sort of person but seriously I’m about to spit the dummy on this one.
One way: Wait for some time for that floating pig to go up, then shoot Luke in a much horizontal arc. This shot worked for me since I was also unable to replicate sal9’s destruction
Another way: Shoot Luke immediately in a high trajectory immediately when the level starts(higher than the video) to land exactly in the gap(rather than hitting the metal in the video). This method can also work sometimes.
Third way: Second method in a higher trajectory like above BUT wait for the floating pig to come down so as to negate the chances of it getting in the way.

Well, I finally got 3 stars but I’m sad to say it wasn’t the “Whine Factor” – I caved in and used a power up :(. (This is the first time I’ve resorted to using them.) I’ve been playing facebook’s AB Friends from the start and I’ve never needed to use a powerup. I just don’t have the time to play this level anymore. It’s very time consuming having to wait for the ‘floating pig’ plus if you know you’ve failed at getting a 3* score, you still have to play the level out so that you hopefully don’t lose a crystal. If Rovio repeats this one or creates similar ones, I don’t know if I’ll continue to play in this tournament. I hadn’t realised it until this level but this new facebook Star Wars game takes too long to play. Even without floating pigs, having to play out the level each time just to save a crystal, takes far too long and waiting 12 minutes for a new life/crystal is also too long. I know they want to make money but I spend enough on their games by just buying each one that comes out.
Thank you @ayan for your suggestions – I tried them all to no avail. The powerup I used was the Blaster Droid and simply followed the same strategy as in the walkthrough.
After about one gazillion tries, finally, I hit 70,490 …
Have to disagree that power-up is useless: Use Thermal Detonator and wait for the floating platform to begin it’s descent. Launch Luke so that he clears UNDER the platform yet OVER the first structure. As he passes under the platform, lightsaber the floating pig, TD does the rest. Depending on luck, far right pig may need 2nd shot but 3-star score is still fairly easy.
I had a malfunction on first attempt at this strat, and on the 2nd attempt I didn’t quite clear the first structure so the TD stuck to the round metal piece and rolled over into position…result of this “error” — one bird and 71,540 :)
I give up. I have tried every single strategy I could find, and I just can’t make it. all of them seem to rely on dumb effin’ luck to knock the right hand tower over, and I am out of powerups. and I can’t buy more. Love the game, but they need to make the tournaments just a LITTLE less difficult.
I couldn’t make anyone elses strategy work, so similar shot to the video, although slightly lower, you need it to remove most of the middle tower so you can shoot at the left blue block with the second bird. With this second shot land the bird on the floating platform which will send this crashing on the wreckage from the first bird shot. Got 72K no power ups with this after a lot of tries
I tried and tried and tried some more but I just couldn’t get 3 stars without power-ups. I used a Blaster Droid with Luke, then shot Han in such a way that I was able to shoot the top right pig and land on the floating pig.
