Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level 2 Week 9 – February 12th 2013

Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #2 (Day 2, released on February 12th) Week 9 which began on February 11th, 2013. Our non-power up strategy is to send Obi-Wan towards the middle horizontal steel block on the first tower. Initiate the force rightward to send debris into the right tnt. With a little luck, the explosion should clear all the pigs. Use Luke if necessary to destroy the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 81,450.

Our Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Sent Obi Wan in just like the video but did not get the TNT to blow using the debris. Instead the laser gun stormtrooper started rolling and shooting everything…including himself!!!! Too cool…

Like Killer I used Obi to push over like the video but made sure the bottom left blaster trooper wasn’t harmed. Obi debris caused the right TNT to explode and the blaster rolled and eventually shot himself. 83,930

The key to getting the one bird shot like in the video is to fire the force-push just before Obi hits the metal bar. You don’t want to destroy the pieces, you just want to send everything flying downrange to impact the second tower and collapse the middle bridge supports.

That’s a very astute observation on your part @donkeyhoatie, I was going nuts with low scores until I read your comment, and this is the first time I see that PU’s actually hurt more than they help, Thank you.

yes thank you. it’s hard to tell from a video PRECISELY when to force. it would be nice on these levels @BirdLeader and @sal9 if you could, perhaps at the end, show a slow motion of that time frame so we can see precisely where to hit the force initiating. just an idea.

Interesting idea. I’ll look into it.
If the quality of the recording is not compromised by the slow motion effect …

I can’t do it with just one bird like in the video above, so I do it differently:
Send Obi-wan just over the first tower, then as soon as it’s over the first tower send the force backwards. Works everytime for me
