One strategy for Go Green, Get Lucky level 5 is bomb between the two masts with the White bird. With a little luck, the TNT on the extreme right should detonate, clearing most of the pigs. Snipe any that remain with a Yellow bird. The score in the video below is 81,940.

92,950. I managed to clear the level with only one bird! Dropped the egg to the left of the first mast. Flying and dropping objects managed to create the perfect cascade to take out the rest of the pigs. But you have to get the little pig under the deck with that shot

However, it is a tricky shot, the white bird should bounce off the top of the first mast and land on top of the second. The mast will fall to the right and drop the white bird on the tnt and that kills all the other pigs. Hope this helps others getting the shot as well.

Somehow with a lot of luck got the tnt which sent stones flying to the wooden plank above the little pig the second stone got him with all the pigs gone in one bird. Total was 91,000 :)
Thank you helloburnaby and DeeNL for the posts on the alternate strategies and tips. Worked just an DeeNL described with the bouncing off the left mast, landing on the right mast and then it falls onto the tnt. This occurred about a dozen times but only had one with a good score where the far left pig was destroyed by flying debris.
One absolute is the egg has to destroy the lower pig on the left side.
Aiming tip for iPad: zoom out and maintain a space between the bottom of the White Bird and the curve in the shamrock’s trunk in the background. The goal is to try to get the White Bird to hit the left side of the left mast and bounce to the right.

Cleared all but the middle bird and the pot of gold. Easy shot to get both at once, right? I missed!! I ended up with 88,360, which would have been 91,000.
I’ve been trying to get the first bird to nick the top of the first mast and land on the second mast to get the dynamite. Is there a sure-fire way to get the dynamite with the first bird while killing the pig below decks?
You need to use the white bird to blow up the dynamite.
How does one get three stars with only 77thou points and I get two stars with over 80thou points? Doesn’t make sense…
I found that it’s pretty easy to consistently get the TNT with the white bird: just don’t drop its egg! Launch the white bird at a 45-degree angle up, and let it land on the top of the second/right mast, it won’t break the mast but will cause it to fall to the right. The white bird will usually trigger the TNT; not always but often enough to be worthwhile to repeat for the desired additional effect: sometimes the resulting explosion will send shrapnel far enough back to the left to kill the piggie in the concrete boat, too :)
Then use a yellow to kill the tiny piggie below decks (launch yellow bird up at a high angle). If the piggie in the concrete boat is still alive, you sometimes can roll the yellow bird onto him first, then the bird will roll out and onto the piggie below decks… that’s pure luck, though.
I just redo the white bird over and over till I just have one piggie left to kill :)

Tried every method on here to get three stars for this one. Not using the white bird’s bomb and getting lucky with the yellow bird, killing the pig on the shark, rolling/bouncing off just right to get the pig below the deck netted me just over the three star minimum. This is another one I never want to see again.
Thanks for the unique strat. I was actually going for the walkthrough method and he accidently landed on the second mast and sure enough, the TNT exploded, but I had two pigs left. I came here and read your strat so I tried it again several times and it works great all though I had to play several times before getting just one pig left…Now I will have to keep trying for a one birdie!
Thanks for the video! However, I CANNOT get the TNT to blow the debris to the pig sitting on the rocks. If I get all the others, that is always one that is left. I can get down to the red bird and can’t figure out the angle needed to get him. It usually goes over his head and lands in the boat. I try and re-try. I even give it to my 6 year old, who can usually get through a level i’m having trouble with. :)
Any suggestions?

Improved to 88K using the video method, with the slight adjustment of letting the white bird fall lower between the two masts before dropping egg. Got more destruction. And, yes, it took lots of trys before the TNT exploded.
The two tall structures are unstable. They will fall, making a path to the TNT.
@mvnla2 you might want to investigate. Could be added to the self destroying levels list.
@MWil — How often does this happen? What is the score when it collapses? How long does it take? I have tried this more than 50 times, and at most I see almost imperceptible motion.
Ok I have seen this happen. So far has made it harder to get a high score. I have gotten the most luck of which I don’t seem to have any using the bloated bird tech described above.
Before heading off to bed, I thought I would give the new LOD a shot. I was surprised when I noticed that my score was slightly below the average–I thought I was above average on most of AB Seasons.
Shot the white bird before the first mast as helloburnaby described above. Got the pig below deck, and the right mast slowly tipped over setting off the TNT which sent the rocks over to thanks out the far left pig. All I could think was, “why is everyone saying the mast doesn’t get the TNT?”. I get it now. Since that first shot, I can’t seem to get the second mast to set it off again! Obviously, it’s possible, but tricky, and I’m not sure there’s any real trick to it if you are going for the one bird solution. Rinse and repeat.
It seems for me that the ‘Get Lucky’ part in GGGL isn’t actually helping me. I have tried atleast a 50 times to get that TNT but to no avail.
I know the feeling. While I have had it go off a few times, I can’t seem to get it to get the far left pig again. Obviously, it is a very rare shot.
I’ve really had enough of armor-plated tnt today, lol! Was playing S&T earlier and had tnts that just refused to blow up, but THIS!!!! The number of times a piece of wood or stone touches it and it doesn’t do anything…………grrr! Oh well, I’ll keep at it and hope for the ‘whine factor’ on top of the ‘L-factor’! :)
The “bomb before 2nd mast” is the strategy for me, had a couple of shots to pop all pigs except one including the hard-to-hit leftmost. I’ve had a few shots in which I got the pot of gold destroyed by the egg bomb, but unfortunately, didn’t go along with a good shot.
I fianlly improved to 82050 by dropping bomb before first mast but tnt did not explode as @laurence puts it…”armor-plated tnt”, lol. Then sent YB on a high arch to come down and ignite that “armor-plated tnt”. It felt good making YB slam in to it and make the darn thing ignite, lol.
I’ve gone back and tried both ways (well, all three ways if I include the bloated bird described above).
Using the bloated bird to land on top of the second mast does, indeed, increase the chances that the TNT will go off. Obviously, though, there are several birds not hit. It seems to me a two birder is highly unlikely, and a one birder impossible (the two left most birds a problematic). So, this isn’t a great method for high scores, although it might work for players happy to just get three stars and move past this level that can be very frustrating at times.
Shooting between the two masts, I found, seemed to get the TNT a bit more often for me. It wasn’t a significant difference though. As @kartflyer points out, this approach gives you the chance to get the pot of gold, although that is a tough shot (read: rare).. Getting the pot of gold AND getting the TNT to go off AND getting the far left bird all in one shot seems like bad odds. There is still the issue of the pig below deck.
I mainly stuck with shooting before the first mast. I think I got the TNT to go off about 1 in 25 shots. Getting the rocks to fly just right to take out left pig is even tougher. I’ve managed to do it a few times since the challenge started. I also found I could pick up a few extra points by dropping the egg just a bit sooner so I would get some of the “water” (glass).
It seems to me that this is just one of those levels that takes patience and persistence.
Not doing as well as DocTony, but these are my thoughts: I’ve never seen the TNT go off unless hit directly by a bird. WB is really good at this. For DocTony’s strat to work, I think you need to aim the WB high enough that it clips the first mast AND lands on the pig on the second mast. THEN if you are lucky, the second mast will topple to the right AND dump the WB on the TNT. Luck seems to be a huge component in this level.
Actually, i don’t think I got the bird to hit the TNT ever, unless using the bloated bird/second mast approach. The little pieces of wood won’t get it, and they usually block the stone from the second mast. However, if they fall in such a way that the stone gets the TNT, it can go off. (The Rovio YouTube video shows the bird doing what you described, but I couldn’t repeat what they did,)
In fairness, there is no doubt that I was wrong about the 1 in 25 thing, it’s much harder than that. After doing this probably 300 times today, I only got the TNT AND the far left bird three or four times.
I reckon the bloated bird/far left pig combo is far less than @doctonynyc ‘s approx 1%. But hey, I got there in the end!
Got me a one birdie, by shooting the white bird at the left side of the boat. The right mast tumbled down into the TNT, setting everything in motion. All piggies got killed :D
