Angry Birds Seasons The Pig Days Level 1-7 Walkthrough | Bacon Day

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons The Pig Days Level 1-7 is to fling the Red bird through the first three pigs on the left side. Next, speed a Yellow bird through the balloons supporting the ham (yum!). Use a Red bird to either clean up or snipe the remaining pig on the right side. The score in the video below is 77,230.

Note: This level commemorates Bacon Day!

The new level is named after the food that should be in a food group it’s own – BACON!!
I don’t see where to post a walkthrough for it yet so I’ll put it here and go take a nap.
Fairly easy three stars.
1) aim for the brim of the hat on the top stair piggie, red should roll down and take the rest of the stair piggies out. May take several tries. NOTE: if the bottom pig with the pole doesn’t pop, don’t restart, he can go with the next bird
2) aim yellow on a high arc activate so he cuts the left string and just BARELY below the bottom of the right string, so he loses most of his momentum and falls over on the eggs, then onto the final pig with the fork. In the meantime, the platform with all of the hams will have dropped taking out everything below including the pig with the ham on a stick.

I know this might sound crazy, but here’s how: i launched Red up in a high arch, then while he was still flying , i QUICKLY launched Chuck so that he hit him and bounced off red in midair, and flew towards the balloons supporting King Pig, while Red fell down and hit the pigs closest to the slingshot. I tried to make Red hit Mustache Pig, but failed to do so, so I had to use another Chuck to kill him! :)

First red to clear the steps. Chuck to take down the big hanging thing. Use red 2 to clear the ham. Use last chuck to take out the pig by the eggs dropping the eggs down below. 1 remaining pig, 75000.

I’ve only played this a couple times so far, so no doubt the scores will get better as the day goes.

If you use the red bird to take out the straw hat pig and the blue balloon, then the second pig rolls killing the next and the far right pig is pushed up. Then when you drop the ham it pops the right pig too. I need to work on getting more ham with the second red bird.

Two Birds for 96360. I sent Red to hit the brim of the first pig’s hat. He rolled down to take out all three. The bottom one and it’s wood perch broke down landing on the metal support which caused the far right pig to pop.

Then YB in a med high arch, accelerating a little more than half way through so that he cuts through the left string and on through the right string just where it meets the metal piece. He ricocheted off the metal piece and landed on the pig with the pitch fork. I got none of the eggs to roll down so higher scores will definitely come!

I have a screenshot of the trajectory and remaining debris in my album which I will post here shortly :-)

P.S. I think me and @mtj1517 have similar strat ;-)

My best score so far (95530) went down just as @pellystar described. First bird as normal to take out front 3 piggies. As @lesleyg said above, you don’t have to worry about far right pig,the 2nd shot fallout should bump him off. On occasion he’s also fallen and destroyed the lemonade jug for a few extra points. The only problem with the moon shot is you can’t seem to be able to come down at such an angle that you can take out the support for the eggs and/or the 3000k daisy. To be honest though the falling eggs don’t cause too much damage but missing out on the 3k flower is a pain. I’ll now give @lesleyg strat a bash and see if I can improve!

Thank you @pellystar. As much as I hate moonshots, I can hit the right balloon and helmeted pig maybe every third or fourth try, and it has produced my best score so far. And at least it’s the second shot, so if you have to reset, you’re not wasting a lot of time. Actually, every second spent playing Angry Birds could very legitimately be characterized as a waste of time, but I’m sure you (and all of the other members with at least a touch of OCD) know what I mean.

89900 with 4 birds. First like the video, key is pop the blue ballon and have lower right pig pop. Second shot like the video but a little to clip the flower in the upper right for 3k. You also need to destroy a lot of the hams, with only 5 or 6 left for a big score. Time the shot so the swinging hams are at about 6 o’clock while swinging to the left.

Bounce the third shot through the picnic basket to take out the wood and any remaining pigs. Last shot similar to the video but aim for wood under the pig. The pig will roll off the ledge and dump the eggs. If you can hit the lower left corner of the wood, you can get the bird to bounce back to the and take another ham or two. At least 92k is definitely possible with this.

2 birds – 92,540

Red Bird – This is a bit of a nothing shot as there isn’t anything that can be achieved here that couldn’t be taken care of with the yellow bird other than making sure the very 1st pig is destroyed. Rather than aim directly for the hat-wearing pig, I find the best approach for this shot is to skim the red bird along at least one of the steps in front of the slingshot and try to push all this wood here as far to right as you can giving us a better chance to break some of it with our next shot.

Yellow Bird – This is the important shot. Use the point where the ground drops down just behind the platform to get the correct high angle for this shot. When the bird reaches the top of its trajectory accelerate over the top of the 1st balloon (do not break this balloon or string), through the 2nd balloon and achieve a direct hit on the flower to gain the 3,000 bonus points. With this floating platform now only being held up by the remaining 1st balloon, it will become a pendulum. As this platform swings to the left you need leftmost hams-on-a-string to stay attached to this platform long enough to pop the blue balloon & destroy the 2 pigs remaining on the left side, and create enough momentum on this pendulum that when it swings back to the right, the far-right of the 3 hams atop the platform goes on to destroy the top-right trident pig. Meanwhile, the moustached pig is bruised by the see-saw effect on the wood below it and finished off by the ham-in-a-cone.

If you don’t destroy all the pigs with the first two birds it is still possible to achieve a decent score. To do so, use the 2nd red bird to push as much of the remaining wood on the left side of the level so that it falls into the fire pit underneath the floating platform, then send the 2nd yellow bird high and through the remaining balloon and on to take out the trident wielding pig and as much of the wood holding the eggs.
I don’t see how a 1 birder could be possible on this level because there doesn’t seem to be any way for a red bird to take down the floating structure.

Red bird as other players above, exactly between the tiny plank and the summer hat. The hat stays, the three pigs go.

Now, this is not an easy shot: YB very high arc, and shoot the SECOND balloon only. The uppers structure swings first to the left and there will be a reasonably fair amount of destruction. Then, and this is the crucial part, the remaining three or four hams swing to the right and hopefully hit the hog guarding the eggs.

With a bit of luck the rightmost pig too meets its maker somewhere along the line, so you should have something between 60 and 65k, and three remaining birds.

Seems if you can cut the right ballon just right, yellow will take out flower and the swing with all the hams swinging will take out left pigs and then drop to take out plank pig. Three little hams left will swing back to the right and eject with enough force to take out fork piggy.

I had a strategy posted this morning. I got started early, actually watched the countdown ’til the level was available. Spent some time on bacon, got a two bird clear w 95k and posted it, but I can’t seem to find it. I know it existed because I had a notification that someone had commented on it. The notification is still there but the post is nonexistent. Based on some recent posts about deleting strats/point listings left by untrustworthy people, i guess my post was deemed illegitimate , and deleted perhaps because I’m new. And not on leaderboards. No need to repost, since I targeted the brim of the left stair piggies hat, and the second bird was a high arc to take down the rack and bounce over to egg piggy. That strat is already above. I’m a little dismayed that my first post of (at the time) a new strategy was deleted, but again, being new was listed as one of the defining characteristics of a bogus post, as was not being on the leaderboards (I’m fairly new to AB, so the odds of me getting a high score competing against experienced players is pretty slim). I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll thank people when their strategies help me out, which is pretty much every level if I get stuck, but I’ll hold off on posting strats, especially new ones with high scores. I don’t know how to record my games as proof, and since I would have to record every attempt, some levels taking hours to get the lucky shot, it’s not worth the time or effort. Ok, time to go back to Sw so I can try again for the score addict.

I send red to the pigs on the left. Don’t worry, no need to get them all killed. The hanging structure will with the next shot. The second shot I did a moonshot with Yellow, landing him through the right balloon of the hanging structure and falling down on the right pig at the platform. The hanging structure swayed to the right and killed the left piggies and luck had it the bottom right pig got killed by the movement created by the hams falling down, which broke the wooden planks in two. @amslimfordy, I guess I’m a little slow today, since I haven’t been to sleep yet, but i think you’re saying the post was deleted because the page for bacon strategies didn’t exist yet, so when I posted in the general comments page, it was .deleted because it was a walkthrough. That’s preferable than it being deleted for other reasons. What do you think about getting placeholder pages created for insomniacs and AB addicts to post their strats for pig days if they finish/three star before the official ABN strat is released?

@admins – I second this suggestion. A placeholder page (similar to the way it is done for Friends Tournament) would be great here. There is a lot of us who start playing these levels as soon as they are unlocked, but there is quite a gap in time until the walkthrough page is created. On the other hand, if it is not so easy to do, I don’t see anything wrong with strategies and other comments on the general “The Pig Days” page. Why can’t they be left there? What’s the harm? There are not many comments there, nothing after “Happy birthday” ones, so nothing will get lost there.
