A good strategy for Hogs and Kisses level 9 is to fire a Red bird into the first vertical wooden block on the initial tower, dropping the tower onto the pig below. Bomb the side of the wooden structure, ricocheting the bird into the Cupid Pig above. Finish off with a Yellow bird or two. The score in the video below is 57,640.

any better suggestions on beating this level?? i have three stars on every level but this one! ive been trying to beat it using this method shown here and no luck…
Timing is crucial. You have to wait a few seconds before you shoot the first bird, you have to hit the flying pig as he’s swinging back toward the right. Good luck!
63,150 – Modified the video for higher score and two birds used… I can probably get higher.
First bird as shown in video.
Aim second bird down (45 degree angle or so). Release egg near pig and force bird to fly up into the long concrete leg… this will force tower to collapse. Collapse the correct way and it will kill the final pig. Collapse down the stairs and it allows for a final bird into the hut to kill him.
This makes no sense. If you shoot the first bird the same way the video does then the tower has already collapsed and killed the pig at the bottom of the stairs. Did I miss something?

69170 – I’d never be able to repeat the incredibly lucky shot with the white bird. Same method as in video, but shot the white bird on a high arc (way up, then down). Dropped the bomb in roughly the same place and managed to kill the three remaining pigs. Felt so good.
man, I did the same thing and only got 61,650! And that was after about 100 or more tries.
found it easier to shoot 1st bird in a high arc as the flying pig swung to right, getting the far right pig too. Then angle white bird 35 degrees down and bouncing it into the concrete leg taking out the tower. Finally yellow bird high arc into the final pig. Following the example in the video was frustrating as the tower collapsed properly 1 out of 10 times
Try it, this is the way to go!! I did this exactly how you describe it here and got 3 stars on the 1st try, 57960. As long as you time the first red bird to nab the floating pig and the far right pig, you’re in. The method in the video above was TOO hard and way too frustrating. I must’ve tried it 500 times and a few times that I actually managed to clear it in 3 birds, it still gave me too low a score and only 2 stars.

This is the basic high-score strategy, for sure. I made a couple of slight modifications, though. I shot the white bird only a little below horizontal so that the bomb directly damaged much of the wood before the carcass hit the tower. On my best attempt, this worked even better than I could have imagined: when the tower came cascading down the slope, it wiped out literally every single piece of debris on the way! The other change I made was to shoot the yellow bird horizontally, which I think does better damage to the house.

Aiming tips: Zoom in
1. Pull back Red Bird and leave a small space between its body and the pink curve in the background. Launch the RB when the swinging pig is to the left, prior to starting its swing to the right. Highest points obtained 12,150.
2. Aim the White Bird with a slight downward tilt so when it is activated the egg and bird damage the wood steps as the carcass flies up to hit the stone vertical left leg. Highest points obtained 41,040.
3. Aim Yellow Bird as austinrhl mentioned to go horizontally into the wood structure to the pig with the bow.
Gained overall 10k+ in points.
This level had been driving me crazy but finally nailed it, similar to video but 2 birds 70030, no way I could reproduce……
66300 using red bird to kill flying pig and farthest pig to the right… Have to time the bird to catch the flying one in the backswing.
Then fired the egg bird down at the closest pig, released the egg to shoot the pig up
Into the tower. It didn’t fall the right way so I had to use the first yellow to take out the bird in the house. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the method. Aim the first bird about 40 degrees up from slingshot height, and launch when the Cupig swings to the left. I had a hard time with the first shot and found this to be very repeatable killing both Cupig and moustache pigs.

I got incredibly lucky and killed both the helmet pig in front and the one in the house with the first redbird. I then got the flying Cupid pig with the white bird who then bounced on top of the last pig.
Am I watching the same video as everyone else? Mine has first red bird collapsing tower then white bird aiming at small structure, dropping egg. so I don’t understand some of the comments saying use red bird for swinging pig and white bird for tower.s there is there a second video that shows this method?

How is over 90k possible in that level??
I don’t think 90k is possible – likely someone posting a wrong score for leaderboard….has anyone seen a screenshot from skowse to back it up? Especially since other scores were 18k less than his….willing to be proven wrong but otherwise he should be deleted.
Trishohara, feel free to use the “Flag” feature for any top scores you think are questionable. They will look into them to see if possible or ask for screenshots to back them up.
I think that was an honest typo. I’ve changed it from 92 to 62.

Hardest level so far on seasons I think. Trying to get 3 stars for a day and a half now! Longest I’ve ever been stuck. Just can’t get the white bird to knock out far right pig. Hoping there’s some other good methods posted here.
There is a pretty easy method to get at least 56,000 points. You won’t get a good highscore with it, but it should give you the 3 stars:
1. shoot the red bird directly into the flying pig AND the pig on the far right (wait for 1-2 seconds after level start)
2. drop the white birds egg directly on the near left pig, so that the white bird flies somewhere in the tower (in the wooden part)
3. bring the yellow bird in a high angle down to the house-like structure in the middle, either hitting the pig directly or bring enough debris down.
this should get you about 55,000 – 60,000 points!

With this level I finished the whole season “Hogs and Kisses”.
Was very very difficult!, and my final score on this level was 66.550 with only two birds xd

It caught me by surprise that during my revisits of the old episodes in Seasons that my video and score of oktober 2011 was still the best way to go and I didn’t need to make a new one, but than I again, I seem to have been shy back than and never posted my video hahaha LOL
I shot the red bird the same as mentioned above, in a 45 degree angle, hitting both the flying pig and the pig on the right. Second white bird down to the second step of the stairs, releasing the egg at the latest point, breaking the stone leg of the tower. Everything should collaps and the centre is free for the yellow bird to kill the last Pig. I got 69770 this way.
