Due to the exclusive agreement Rovio had with the Amazon Appstore Angry Birds Rio has only been available to download for those living in the USA. Thankfully, Angry Birds Rio has finally landed in the Android Marketplace, so anyone with access to it can finally download it. The version in the Android Marketplace is free, which likely means it’s ad supported.
I also just found out that Angry Birds Rio is also available on GetJar.

Downloaded the .apk file 2 weeks ago from some site and installed it to my phone, so I didn’t need the darn Amazon Appstore to enjoy the fun.
Unfortunately I finished the game (3* + all fruits) 2 days after I got it, so allready waiting for the new update in May ;-)
