Only 1 question. HOW i can get 3 stars? I dont have any idea about this. More than 37k points and only 2 stars.

I completed it easily as I have a friend in level 42

Same boat here, scored over 37000 by using pizza slices and Red’s rage ability (1300+ damage each round) plus whatever Matilda and Pigiana Jones could deal out, and I didn’t have any misses since Pigiana dispels.

Still two stars.

I imagine if you used a friends Elite Trickster (to still have dispel, but do more damage), it might help, but not much. I used Pigiana to also put counterattack on Red, so quite often I was doling out 1300 + 400 + 300 = 2000 damage on the boss. Yet the score does not seem to go up much. I finished in WAY fewer rounds than the movie here, yet the final score here was 36000+ and my score was 37000+ …only a thousand points difference…

You have to be very high level to beat it, I beat it at lvl 17 or 18 with a red samurai, Matilda priest, and the blue tricksters, though you could probably use pigiana Jones if you have high lvl friends… Use rage chili on red when you can, Matilda ONLY hits the boss, then links to the other two, and tricksters/pigiana Jones can dispel any buffs on the main boss. Only two stars but it’s a very simple victory.

Indeed, the level is very easy to beat, no doubt about it. (Not sure how the Caves scale, but I am impressed at you taking care of business at level 18!)

However, I was wondering how to three-star the level, as that appears to be a bit trickier. I noticed an Epic update today, and it appears 25 is no longer the max level (at least it doesn’t say it any more, I have yet to see the experience bar peek out from behind the star). Leveling up should help with a lot of things (that don’t scale).

Just an update…

I tried Elite Samurai, Elite Trickster (for the Dispel power), and Prince Porky (to enhance offense — all numbers below are with Tit For Tat laid on the team).

Used potions, cakes, and rage pie every chance I could such that each round:

Red — Heroic Strike = 1729 damage
Blue — standard hit = 586 damage
Porky — standard hit, when he wasn’t casting TfT = 327(+crit) damage

So, on rounds when Porky wasn’t casting TfT, I was laying down 2642+ damage. On rounds where Porky was casting, I was laying down 2315.

I didn’t count the number of rounds, but this potion-intensive strat certainly yielded a higher score: 47,000.

But guess what — still only two stars. :\

This was also with me being level 26. An update a couple days ago got me logged in wonkily and I had a morning where max level was apparently turned off — I got to level 26 before Epic crashed and re-logging in sync’d me back to being maxed (but level 26 has stayed in effect).

In summary, 47,000 points is still not enough to three-star this even though 36000 (if not less) is enough to two-star. I think this level must have been developed back when there was no level limit and it was assumed someone would stroll in there with level 30+ characters or something…

Would love to hear from someone who has three-starred it, even if via a means I can never attain (like being beyond level 30).

Thanks,
sutekh137

PS. Incidentally, the boss in this scenario never cast the clouds over himself once, so I ended up not even needing the Dispel. I assume that was just luck, though, as whenever the boss cast the clouds, he did it for his side minion. Still, Elite Berserk could have lain down even more damage with the Rage Chili always being full…

Hey all,

Well, I finally did it. Recent update (on Android, anyway) allows advancing beyond level 25 (29 is the new max level).

So, I maxed out again and went back to this level. Same idea as before, Red, Blue, and Porky, only this time I Was laying down:

Red — Heroic Strike = 1911 damage
Blue — standard hit = 631 damage
Porky — standard hit, when he wasn’t casting TfT = 360(+crit) damage

Whatever that gained me (sorry, I forgot to count rounds again!), I ended up with 50,400 points, and that was enough to three-star the level. So, the three-star threshold appears to be at 48K, 49K, or 50K…

Thanks,

Three-star threshold should be 48K then. I used Level 29 elite Paladin and Cap’n, and borrowed Prince Porky. Used Prince Porky’s ability to kill ghosts dead to quickly and permanently take out the easy ghost and maximize points from that kill. I always kept Paladin charged up with both Whip Up and Tit-for-Tat, using Holy Strike when I needed healing and used veggie cakes to deal tons of damage with Heroic Strike when there was no need for healing. Ended up with a 48,799 score and three stars.

Used Paladin, Captn and Porky. Captain and porkey put spells on the paladin, resulting in 3200 points hits (i am level 29). The final result: 52300.

What do you get out of the treasure chest? I keep rolling and I just can’t get it :(

Not much actually. Extra resources, with five or ten snoutlings … sometimes 3 lucky coins. Not worth wasting gems on those if you ask me.

@Chris

I want to say there WAS something better in there, like a recipe for a weapon. Of course, once you get it, it doesn’t pop up any more. So, I can’t be sure it was there.

But all of the cave-ending bosses drop something nice from the chest, if you can get it, AFAIK. Whatever it was, though, I probably got a better weapon later from subsequent cave battle drops and/or spinning the lucky pig (especially during the epic riot time).

Sorry I didn’t keep better track of what all dropped as I progressed through the caves… :\

Good luck!
