Danger Above level 6-6 is quite challenging to get 3 stars, and a one-bird clear is almost a requirement. Our strategy is to loft a Boomerang bird over the structures, spinning it back into the wooden blocks of the left structure. The TNT within should detonate and toss stones everywhere. With some luck, the stones that land on the lower structure can cause its TNT to detonate as well. If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. The score in the video below is 79,630.

I got ALL with one bird (but only one structure detonated) and it only gave me 64,070. I have tried and tried and tried to get it to detonate the 2nd structure with only one bird shot, but it will not happen. I have all kinds of stones hitting it and it doesn’t detonate. And like I said, I’ve been able to get all them with just one bird – the stones from first structure hitting the 2nd structure hard enough to kill everything, but not enough to detonate it. Using 2 birds I’ve gotten 76,330. But the highest I’ve gotten with just one bird is 64,070. So what do I do?
Yeah it’s a tough level but it is doable. You just have to keep trying. Both structures must explode to 3 star. Reps and luck is the only way to score high here. If it helps, you may want to try hitting the lower structure 1st hoping to get the top structure to explode. I’ve done it both ways but I think the videos way is the easiest.
I’ll keep trying, but I’ve gotten all pigs to die with only one bird, but not all pigs + both structures. I’ve tried at least 50+ times. Just won’t do it. I’ve watched the video several times and made sure I’m hitting at exactly the same spot, but the flying stones just don’t make the 2nd structure explode for me. It has even exposed the TNT without exploding it. And killed all the critters without exploding it. :(
Keep trying. I’m afraid to say that even when you do get both structures to explode, that’s no guarantee of a 3 star result .. In fact you probably won’t get the 78K. 50 x’s isn’t much here. I’ve played this level 100s of times. Good Luck.
you definitely want as much destruction as possible from the top structure. Persistance will payoff.
I’ve been able to get it with one bird but not enough points to get over the average score. I’ll have to retry later. So frustrating aarrggghhhhh!!
That pig died without slim having to throw a bird!
I assume your referring to the pig rolling off the bottom structure. Yeah that happens a lot on this level. It actually helps you when it does because it clears off the stone for a harder impact by the falling stone increasing the chance of exploding the bottom structure.
You have to wait 4-5 seconds to throw the bird till this pig either rolls to the right edge or falls, so the impact of the stones is clear on the top stone of the lower level and not on the pig as pjdambra says.
For me also helps to throw the bird higher (like 45 degrees) so the impact is somehow downwards rather than horizontal. This way I did it on the third attempt after dozens of previous tries (78130, 3-star, and 77910, 2-star on the next hit). Good luck.
They added a little wood block to keep him from rolling off now. Not that it matters much in the overall.
Good eye@Burbman, my score is similar to yours, was lookin to improve BUT there IS a lil block on top now to keep that pig from rollin! didnt realize some of the updates had actually changed the configuration of the structures!

On 14th try…. Big surprise. Both structures completely blew to smithereens instantly.
well I used two birds and got the score 78,280 so that works too
I just got 79790 with two birds. It’s much easier to try it with the two-bird approach since they’ll most like destroy everything.
I donated the 2 tnt boxes but that helmet pig didnt die!
AMslimfordy’s video for ABN worked. It took a while.
Also tried to blow up the bottom structure first to see if the triangle or debris would hit the top one. Kinda looks like a gun. Could not get enough debris to get the top structure to explode.
Obtained a score of 77,640 using two birds; first the top then the bottom and let the pig roll off the bottom structure naturally.

Its a scary thing when you come back tp a level to improve ..and remember the trivks…and feel the frustration as if it were yesterday…I hate falling below average LOL ..
In v2.2.0 they add a tiny little wooden block near the Helmet Pig so that he won’t roll off the edge.

Hehe… I’ve accidentally noticed it when I replayed that level. Using the video’s strategy, but noticed that the Helmet Pig didn’t roll off the edge, and there I noticed a tiny little wooden block beside him.

It’s not hopeless Mimi. You just have to keep on trying.. I went back here after reading your post to see if the block makes it even harder, i did after about a half hour trying. Scored a 82490 which is lower than my high, so I’m not sure if the block makes it harder for high scores, but it is still doable. Good Luck.
It indeed is possible to get a top 100 score despite the little wooden block. The presence of this block complicates the approach of exploding the upper TNT so that its debris sets off the lower TNT. Solution: aim at and explode the bottom TNT with the first bird in just the right way and some of its debris will fly upward and to the left, setting off the upper TNT. I found it best to approach this with a fairly low-angle boomerang shot, enough to comfortably clear the upper structure but not by a lot. When properly aimed, this causes the boomerang bird to hit the lower structure at a fairly flat angle, which once in a while will result in exploding both sets of TNT.
you can take bith the wood and helmeted pig out by the boomerang bird, if you aim the latter above the wood instead of on it as in the video. with some luck the tnt detonates lauching the bird onto the small wood before the other debris arrives. (for me this works every few minutes, detonating both the upper and lower tnt; don’t know about high scores though).
still don’t know about high scores but the strategy is sufficient for average (have had 6 scores ranging from 78k to 84k since previous comment).
well, that was quick. another 5 minutes and improved my score from 85.820 (can’t remember how i got that) to 86.690 by it.
i already did this but the score i get was 76520 !!!! :(

Exploded lower section 1st & debris blown upwards set off the top section for 80,260…more than enough for 3*, but not above average.. For those struggling, it’s still possible, but not terribly easy to get 3* on on Droid phone.
@amslimfordy‘s video is good. Remembering the first time through this level (before finding ABN) I was already flinging Al Slim’s way but, couldn’t get higher than 78,870. Coming back now, thanks to ABN, trying to at least get averages, I hit top structure beautifully on 2nd fling, for 81,160! Will keep trying, to get above average.
Accidentally, and with an obscene amount of luck, I triggered Al way too late for the top structure and he crashed into the lower one; the explosion kicked enough debris, hard enough, up to explode the top structure! I’m happy with my new high score…for now. ;-)
86,820 with one bird.
It actually shocked me when the screen just lit up for a second because it was like… boom…BOOM!
Things were flyin’ everywhere… I couldn’t say anything except…YESSSSSSS!!! Then I started laughing hard cuz I couldn’t believe what I had done.
It was as if the heavens opened up and rained a blessing down…lol
Method that worked was I flew the bird into the top stricter…then the debris fell just right for me.
