All hail FujiToast! While he’s not the first to achieve 100% Total Destruction on this level, he is the ONLY one to capture it on video! If you have the time (possibly a lot of time) and inclination this video shows you a working method. Now, FujiToast will be the first to admit that he didn’t do this alone. Many die hard Angry Birds fans and ABN members who have achieved Total Destruction on SG 1-16 — and those trying — have been nice enough to share tips and strategies in our dedicated forum thread. FujiToast used cybrxs’ method, but elcapitan and Andreas189 (the first to achieve Total Destruction) were pivotal as well. A BIG thanks to those guys and everyone else who helped us finally capture this on video and share it with the world. FujiToast can now get some rest!

Hey guys, I think it’s fair to say that this was the hardest level of Angry Birds to date. At least, the hardest that was still actually possible. I think I should start with a warning; I played this level for close to 40 hours total. So don’t expect to just be able to watch the video and just “get it”. With that being said, I think I have a very good understanding of makes a consistant strategy. (I tried a LOT of them) The method brought to our attention in the forums by cybrxs’ was the ONLY one I found that wasn’t pretty much ALL luck. That method which is used in the video only took me about 4 hours, so if you’ve got plenty of time, patience and determination, follow the annotations in the video (the annotations may not show up on many mobile devices) and get your last feather!
Update: With the Ham’o’ween v2.0.0 release, the threshold for Total Destruction has been lowered significantly. Congratulations to all who got the feather before the change!
Finally got it after attempting for a couple of days! Frustrating to get 99% 3 times with only a tiny fragment of glass or wood left. Thanks much to those who figured it out, I never would have on my own!

You want BB to go to the right and then he comes back from the left.
We still have not seen any video proof this happens, so for the time being I’m supporting the method above.

You mean he goes off the right-edge of the screen. That’s what FujiToast is referring to as well. I haven’t seen it anywhere on video, so I (also) don’t think it is possible for Big Brother to circumnavigate the world.
Thanks for this guys. I’ve been trying this one for months now, and within 4 attempts of the method shown, I got the 100%. massive kudos to the guys who put the hours in to figure this one out.
Ok, who did you sell your soul to to get this level complete!?! I have been trying the method suggested in the video above for some time now, and it is NOT working. Either BB disappears before the ME even has a chance to come down (and yes, I’m pressing the icon IMMEDIATLY after launching BB, then launching the ME as quick as possible), or the ME just knocks BB to the right. One of those two things happens every single time. Is there absolutely no other way to do this!?!
Listen, the same thing happened to me. Big Red would disappear to soon, he also would go the wrong way. A multable of crap. Do the Big Red then try to shoot the sardines straight to the spot. If the place does not have the board standing up, start over or the can just slides past and falls on top of BR. It took about 6 hours but it did work. Remember every shot of every bird has to be dead on. If you miss any part, just reset and start again. No sence in hopeing you might find a new way. I was at it for months before this new update. Bear down and kick it in the butt!
Drove me mad for weeks as well. If I sent the sardine tin high then although it landed in the same place as in FujiToast’s video, big red bird would go poof just as the eagle was about to hit him.
I went back to throwing the tin in a more horizontal trajectory aiming to land in the same place as if I’d shot it high. This meant big red was still around when the eagle swooped.
But you have to have the big red bird in exactly the right position for the eagle to hit him hard enough on his right-hand side to send him flying back to the platform, bounce off it with the force to wipe out the remaining blocks. That’s the really hard part. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred I would get big red just a bit too far right or left and the eagle would miss him or hit him high or low to the right. I never saw him come back after going right.
Persevere with FujiToast’s method, maybe chuck the tin straighter, and you will do it. Have a look at this screenshot for the ideal pre-eagle positions: http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa335/curlyclare1/60efae1e.jpg play around with hair’s-breadth differences in the slingshot position.

Hey .!! byrmc27. Do not give up Try harder . I give you one tip.
Throw the White bird first to close to the fist flag do not detonate . let the bird destroy by itself the snow blocks .
The throw the B B on arc to the middle .Make sure goes so far inside down to the floor . But whit some debris up him.
Quickly Throw the Sardine a sec on after BB is on air on arc too but less open no too came direction Because the sardine canned have to be on ice blocks left side . This method is almost the same to The video of Fuji toast . That work for meI did it monday night after many days, and many times tried . Believe me After about 20 to 30 times in less than half an hour. Trust me You will got the feather . Good luck.
Did I told you that My 100% was so clean; no debris of Wooden; and no debris of glass only two blocks of ice up to the floor . And the BB was so fast . the !00% icon came in faster too. try Please try you will deserve it .
Ignacio – thanks for the encouraging words but I’m done…it has gotten to the point where I truly don’t even enjoy the game anymore (just doing it out of habit) :( I have all the 3 stars / 100% ME on everything else so this is all that I have left and I’m done :( just too frustrating

Nope, we haven’t heard any indication of what the next season will be. The most widely rumored are another Halloween or possible (American) Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I like the varying themes. RIO is ok, but Seasons can keep going and going.
Ok, I am convinced that this game is rigged like a slot machine !!! Ex: finish with a flagpole, 2 snow blocks & a damaged piece of wood = 99% ….finish with only 2 pieces of damaged ice = 95% !!! wth?!!?

It was the same to me at least 4 times but I did it An others 4 times making 99% leaving only one piece of wooden . But if you try and try to got it No pieces of wooden o glasses you will got the 100 % for sure . Okay .!! 100 % means ; No Debris of wooden and no Debris o glass .okay.!! So try ,!! Do not Give up.!! try Harder .

Let’s quash this one. I think we can all agree that to get Total Destruction of this level involves a good deal of luck and skill. Having skill and increase the number of opportunities to score in the high 90s, but ultimately luck is needed to actually get the 100. This thread should be for constructive advice (and a little gloating for those who succeed). It’s not a political arena.

FINALLLY!! I have been trying for THREE WEEKS to destroy this level and today at 5:20pm I succeeded. I tried Andreas189’s and Fujitoast’s methods and between the two techniques I narrowed down what worked for me. I ended up having to shoot the can straight across as others have done to keep BB from disappearing to quickly. Thanks to all who prevailed before me for the insights! I have the screenshot on my iPhone but have no way to post it. It will be my profile pic on Facebook for a few days if anyone wants to see that I’m truthful. Lol!
I did it following the video of Fuji Toast an Andreas 189 Method . BUt only one thing different . Throwing the White Bird close to the flag and not to detonate , Just let him free to fall down and destroy by himself the ice blocks . It worked for me.

Had played a lot before, then today in 15 minutes get 99% and 3 times after that got 100%. Just left 3 white blocks and VOILA! 100%.

Woo Hoo! Just got 100% after endless days and hours of trying, Got it with the help of FujiToast’s video, No, I don’t have a video (wish I did). This level is absolutely diabolical! Believe me, every pixel counts in terms of launch and impact placement. I took FujiToast’s video full screen on my laptop and REALLY studied it closely, including pausing the video to get exact placements. Then the challenge became duplicating those placements. Purists may call it cheating, I call it saving my sanity! Thanks, FujiToast!
after weeks and weeks and hours I finally got 100% mighty eagle seasons greedings. Not sure how, but from what I could see during those few seconds looks like I knocked out everything leaving nothing. I took a photo with my cell. The pattern I used was close to the two given but not close enough to say that was what did it for me. I was determined to get that feather. Guess I can get out of this chair now and do some house work. Probably need to feed the dog, she has learned to open her own cans by now.

I finally achieved 100% on this level using the video from Fujitoast. Except the sardine can landed on top of BB with a piece of debris between them. I found it really hard to replicate the position of the sardine can in the video so throwing the sardine can on top of BB can work with a bit of luck. Thank you Fujitoast for posting the video, it was the help I needed.
I have watched the Video countless times.. and still can’t beat 99%..
This is the hardest level I have ever worked on. So far I have only achieved 99% and have been at this since the eagle was released for seasons. I have tried all ways mentioned and yet can’t get 100%. My thumb hurts for the countless hours of trying to achieve the impossible. Hats off to those who have beaten this level for I have given up for now. I will try again before the patch cause I want to beat it at this difficulty level and not cheat a win when they patch it. Any news when an update is coming?

Does anyone have any tips on how to get BB to go left (my left) !?!?!? Every time ME hits him he shoots right for me!
It’s difficult, but it really needs to be pinched like a marble.
ME can’t obliterate BB, and ME/BB impact has to be before BB goes “poof.” ME has to touch BB but just enough on your right side of BB to propel him to your left.
I had that happen so many times it wasn’t funny. check out my reply above to kevinA’s comment cos I linked to a screenshot of what proved to be a really good BB/tin placing (no bits left at all!). USMCangel has got a good screenshot too — different from mine. I managed to get BB in roughly that place several times but he kept going ‘poof’ until I chucked the tin straight (like the first vid if you remember it) only I threw it a bit further and it was deflected down onto BB by the falling stuff that BB had dislodged.
There’s a gnat’s eyelash of difference between getting it right and missing it. That’s the luck part I think. But it does feel amazing when you do it — especially when you’ve nearly given up as I felt like doing many times.
If at first million times you don’t succeed, try, try, try again. Then try a couple more times. And maybe pray. ; )
Finally got it!! I’ve spent waaaaaay too many hours playing this level, but I’m glad I got it before the threshold is lowered. I ended up using a slight variation on the method in the video.
I did not detonate the white bird, but made sure he took out the flag and most of the snow blocks by aiming him at the base of the flag.
BB was launched to the middle, as demonstrated in the video.
The sardine can was not arced up high, but launched right at the left corner of the ice shelf. It hit that, bounced up a little, then landed on the horizontal glass, breaking it, then settling on top of the right vertical glass piece. BB settled just slightly right of where he settles in the video.
ME pinched BB, he shot off to the left, then back across taking everything left out. I had one snow block (left side) remaining.
I have no idea how to do screen shots, but I did take a picture of the 100% Total Destruction screen with my regular pocket digital camera. VERY relieved!
I was getting close to completely giving up. MANY THANKS to cybrx, FujiToast, and ALL who have contributed helpful suggestions to this forum. VERY HELPFUL!

Has anybody beaten this level on the iPhone? That’s what I’m playing on and I can’t seem to get this level. It’s driving me nuts. I’ve gotten 99% twice and I’ve been at it for weeks. Any suggestions? Is there a better strategy for iPhone players?
The strategy is the same. There are probably more iPhone successes than iPad successes (simply due to a greater number of iPhone players). This is just an (overly) difficult level. Rovio has said they will lower the threshold.
I’m on the iPhone, but I use a scribe. It makes all the difference.
? What’s a scribe? Sorry… kind of new to this phone. :)
A Scribe is a small pen like device with a rubber tip on each end, or one end depending on the kind you buy. You can get them on EBay, Amazon, ECT… They let you touch or move things on the screen without your fingers or hands blocking you view of the screen. I have very large hands so it makes texting and launching Angry Birds more exacting. Good for iPods & iPhones.
Ive tried using a scribe on the iPhone, but it didn’t work. It thought the digitizer only picked up heat off the fingers?????
I’ve tried some that didn’t work also.The ones with the hard tips are no good. I use the rubber ended tipped ones (one on each end).All the rubber tipped ones seam to be the best.
Any word on when that will happen?
We have seen some Halloween pictures from Rovio, so there may be a Seasons update coming this month.
