All hail FujiToast! While he’s not the first to achieve 100% Total Destruction on this level, he is the ONLY one to capture it on video! If you have the time (possibly a lot of time) and inclination this video shows you a working method. Now, FujiToast will be the first to admit that he didn’t do this alone. Many die hard Angry Birds fans and ABN members who have achieved Total Destruction on SG 1-16 — and those trying — have been nice enough to share tips and strategies in our dedicated forum thread. FujiToast used cybrxs’ method, but elcapitan and Andreas189 (the first to achieve Total Destruction) were pivotal as well. A BIG thanks to those guys and everyone else who helped us finally capture this on video and share it with the world. FujiToast can now get some rest!

Hey guys, I think it’s fair to say that this was the hardest level of Angry Birds to date. At least, the hardest that was still actually possible. I think I should start with a warning; I played this level for close to 40 hours total. So don’t expect to just be able to watch the video and just “get it”. With that being said, I think I have a very good understanding of makes a consistant strategy. (I tried a LOT of them) The method brought to our attention in the forums by cybrxs’ was the ONLY one I found that wasn’t pretty much ALL luck. That method which is used in the video only took me about 4 hours, so if you’ve got plenty of time, patience and determination, follow the annotations in the video (the annotations may not show up on many mobile devices) and get your last feather!
Update: With the Ham’o’ween v2.0.0 release, the threshold for Total Destruction has been lowered significantly. Congratulations to all who got the feather before the change!

Woohoo! Just got 99% but thought for a heart-thumping moment that I was on for the feather (actually shut my eyes as the counter totted up). This is just like a lottery though; you try the same numbers (positions) time after time and it seems to come down to luck. This score was achieved following exactly the same strategy as the video, done hundreds of times. One snow block and a cracked bit of glass equals 99%? OK, a bit might have been thrown off-screen. But how many more tries before i can do it again? Because using the same BB placing time after time this was one of the rare ones when he didn’t go poof just as the ME swooped. It’s maddening!
Sorry, should have added that BB usually rolls to the right if he does hang aroung long enough to get swiped by the ME. I’ve only got him to zoom left and roll back about ten times. Out of many hundred tries. Feels more like luck than skill.
I was able to get 99% too with this same method. I think there was just a little bit of cracked glass and maybe a small wooden board left. Arrg!!
1 partial piece of wood and one partial piece of glass left… =99% I’m SO ticked off at this game! Rovio just lost a customer!
Your choice. I think 1 level does not break an awesome game, but apparently you feel differently. I say either keep at it, or wait for the next update, but leave if you want.
Amslimfordy I got a new on for you. As with everyone else I have been hacking away at the 16 feather, trying new things. Get this, tried the video version and the eagle popped straight up, everything was cleared but one wooden box (All 4 Sides). But the best part was the Red Bird was inside it! Only got a 87% (odd for 1 wooden box), but worth the sight. Beat that!
Whiners… Wait till they see the real challenges life throws at them if they grow up.
ESR: It’s a game. Some of us have gone some of the most difficult of life’s challenges — cancer, death of an only child — don’t presume, don’t judge. Keep it in perspective. If some are passionate, that’s just the way they roll.
Yes, I have a lot of bad stuff: pain, disability, loss of independence, no money etc etc and playing Angry Birds is one of the very few things I can do (when the pain’s not too bad). I don’t think I hear any whining in the previous posts — just frustration at ourselves and questioning that we’re doing the same thing as the successful without the same result.
If even the mighty FujiToast has taken till now to solve and beat this level don’t the rest of us deserve some slack for getting in a tizz about it?

Leave the angry noises to the birds, this is still the best game in the world. I’m now off to wear out my screen with FujiToast’s method…
I’ve gotten only to 94%. That’s with one block of snow and 3 pieces of damaged wood. In another post I saw that Rovio claims 100% destruction is possible on this level, then I would ask Rovio to post the walkthrough. I’ve been working at this level THE ONLY FEATHER I NEED for almost a month. I spend about an hour or more a day just trying to finish this.
ROVIO — if you make it too frustrating or ridiculously difficult, it stops being fun.
It is possible. I believe AngryBirdsNest has roughly 40 successful members reporting. Plenty of suggestions in the forum.
Also, Rovio has reported that they will be lowering the threshold in the next update.
Then I shall persevere. Maybe I need to be one with the Force. LOL

After months of trying I finally got 100%. I didn’t think it was possible, but only two blocks of snow left. I am on cloud nine.
Excellent work FujiToast and AMslimfordy. Most people always believed those of us who achieved this feather, but one or two cynics still claimed it to be impossible. This walkthrough shows the “impossible” happening and you must be delighted and deservedly proud of it. Congratulations… makes great viewing!

I am determined to get this feather before (if?) Rovio lowers the threshold! I am really happy that there’s finally a walk through since I’ve been trying this “on my own” for at least a month and I’m stuck on 93%. The issue I have is that the BB just doesn’t stay on the screen long enough. I’m now trying the throw him then the can in quick succession.
OK, that must work since I got to 99% (three white blocks left on the left side of the structure) but man is it tough!!!
Maybe to get some extra time…..have right hand ready to hit eagle eye as soon as left hand releases sling shot.
Finally got 99% using this method. Perseverence and patience.

A few snow blocks left is ok but you need to destroy all the ice and wood to get 100%. good luck!
I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over a month of trying and I finally did it! I just did the new video up top and it worked (With 6 hours of trying). Now life goes on!

Fujitoast is my hero! I have been trying for countless hours like many others and thanks to this video I got total destruction within an hour! Now if I can just get Smash Maniac and Rovio fix the bugs on Seasons soon I’ll be set. Thanks!

Hallelujah! I’ve done it. Oh happy day! Every single block destroyed (I have screenshot to prove it, even though my hands were shaking). I had to throw the sardine tin on a similar trajectory to the first video clip (straighter) though, because my big red bird refused to wait for the ME most of the time.
Keep at it! It can be done by mere mortals, not just by legends!

Played this level quite a bit… No matter how many times I play and how close to the video I get the stupid red bird always rolls to the right! Grrr!

Finally!!!! 100% thanks to fujitoast. I used the
video method but instead of shooting ME high up did it straight across hitting the same area as if done from high up. Thank you thank you mr fuji! BB shot to the right and came back from the left, leaving one snow block and a slightly cracked ice block. Soooo happy to be done with this level! I’d post a pic of the 100% but don’t know how to.

Tried it a few times, I’m more than content to wait until it’s fixed to be obtainable through skill rather than sheer luck.
There are many people that worked hard at different sanarios to put it on video to help people like you. To say Fuji and the others completed this was luck is an insult to him and all the people who helped complete this stage. Everyone knows it hard but don’t down play there achievements because you gave up trying.
There is no doubt Fuji worked very hard to get the feather, but there absolutely is luck involved in this. I have followed the new walkthrough and that has gotten me to 99% twice, so I’m obviously doing something right to get that far. You can try repeating that strategy a hundred times and that 100% just comes down to luck. Otherwise, you would be able to master this level more often than not. By the way, I am still trying for 100%, but can’t wait until that update. Can’t take much more of this!
In most hard levels it comes down to getting the third or maybe the second bird in just the right place. When we accomplish this we say “finally got it”. In this sinario you have to place three birds in just the right place. So when it gets down to it you must use skill to get all three birds in the right place. At the right time. This is skill, not luck. If it were different more people would have completed it far before Fuli did. This game is a stratigy puzzle. Think of the hundreds of thousands of players around the world playing this game. Remember they said the same thing about Rubics Cube! ” it’s imposable”. In life you will find no luck. Only a plethora of right or wrong choices. So do you feel lucky today?
It’s actually kind of insulting of you to say that the players who can’t get 100% are not skilled enough. After getting 3 stars on AB, ABS, ABR, etc., all golden eggs and every single feather except this level, I would say I’m pretty darned skilled at this game. I have gotten my birds into the same position as the video, got BB to roll and it still leaves three piecs (after Mighty Eagle). Excellent players that follow the video still can’t complete it. Rovio is lowering the threshold because they knew they set it too high. By all accounts, this is a “glitch” level and that has nothing to do with skill. Sorry you don’t believe in luck, but it is real and you do need it for this freaking level. Glad you had some to beat this level. Peace out.
Wow! After about 47,000 tries, I finally got it! First bird just like the video (which I think might be crucial). Big Brother lower than the video (like others have suggested) landing in the middle. The can of sardines same angle landing very close (if not on top of) Big Brother. Thanks for the awesome site, ABN!!

Thanks so much for the video. Following written instructions only got me 97%. After playing for 5 mins after watching the video I’m up to 99%.
I watched my meter spin to 99%, then stop. I had two snow blocks left. I nearly cried.

YES!!! After forever of trying …. SOOOOO many close calls and LOTS of complete misses … I finally got it. I had a problem with Big Bob bird wanting to disappear before the Mighty Eagle would land. And a couple of times I even had the shot lined up exactly right and Big Bob Bird didn’t roll. Very frustrating!! But tonight, I got it. After weeks and weeks with hours and hours and HOURS of trying. What a sense of accomplishment and relief. Now to go back to other levels and try to beat my own high scores. Now I have 3 stars in all the available Rio, Season’s and original Angry Birds and a feather on all the ones for Season’s and original. Now to relax and have fun while I wait for more levels to be released.
Hello >!! YES. !! I Did got it 100% . Know my senses okay and Big accomplishment . Yes sir .You guys The Elite that already did . I got my Ticket .I am in the same team that you are. After many days many tried . After finishing Rio # 10 yes idid all the new 4 achievements the 15 Apples and all tree Starred all the levels . I said myself . Lets try again the S.G. 1-16 . Know I got the Feather ; Yehaaaaa all the way .A big relief . I will sleep good tonight . But I have many question for know , I just want to know How many guys ( players ) did it, Is possible to Know. I believe are not many maybe some hundred of people .!! Or there are thousands . Please let me know keep me dated on these matters . So at least how many people on these great site are . later I will ask some others question . on these sphere . Thank you . I have just learned the hard way that destroying everything except the far right flag nets a cool 98%. SCREAM!
