I’m a almost 50 y/o single mom of three grown children (24, 25, & 27). I was put on 100% permanent disability in 6/2004 and was placed on oxygen around the clock at the same time. I went to bed one night in Feb. 2000 and woke up short of breath the next morning. And it just never got better. Now 12 1/2 years later I’m still “waiting” for a diagnosis! It sounds absurd, but having a background in medicine, I can honestly say that the doctors get an “A” for effort!!!

I enjoy playing Angry Birds during some of my free time, but most of all on the nights that I have insomnia. The bulk of my time is spent making jewelry for my home based jewelry business, Shelly’s Attic, which I opened in Jan 2009. Most of my sales come by word of mouth, but hope to have a website sometime in the next 6 to 12 months. It’s all dependent upon getting appropriate web quality photos of each piece of jewelry.

I’m a pretty simple individual, pretty down to Earth. I guess the simplest way to describe me is what you see is what you get! I like life to be as simple as possible, but I won’t back away from a necessary conflict. In other words, I won’t be anybody’s doormat!!!
