This was an issue months back. By the time many were able to get in (sometimes hours) others had a lead that was tough to overcome. And here we are again…

@rhonda90402…it honestly just isn’t important anymore. I have only been playing since this past summer and it has never been free of issues. It just isn’t an enjoyable experience. Never has been, really.

@rdh91007…mine has updated twice today; aesthetically only. No bug fixes.

So. I just spent 2000 pearls buying two Pirate hats aaaand…nuthin’. The pearls are gone and the hats never upgraded. This GD game is like Ground Hog Day. Between the epic cheaters (oh, excuse me, ‘bug exploiters’) we are forced to compete against and the never, ever ending bugs, I am done. Good luck all.

I have a Star rank of 92, Flock Strength of 184, and Birds at 26/27 and my specials just went to 1. I have quickly lost my 1st place standing in the Arena and will struggle to pull out a top 3 finish. Won’t be playing, except to collect entries, until this is fixed. So damn annoying.

The outage has nothing to do with Rovio and everything to do with the DNS attack on Dyn here in NH. My day has been a nightmare at the office with VoIP phones, etc. We’ve been up and down all day. This too shall pass! ;)

Yep, free ticket/free bird vids stopped working for me late yesterday. I keep getting the “buffering” issue.

The other thing that has been happening for at least a week is when I win multiples of any spell, it doesn’t give me that number, but instead one less than what I won. (ie…3 inflators = 2 when added to my totals).

Anyone else unable to get the Free Entry videos to work? Tells me it’s buffering, kicks me back to the Aren,a then isn’t available to try again. It’s been doing this for 24 hours now…that’s a fair amount of tickets I’ve not received. No problems with videos anywhere else in the game.

@jon3800: Thanks. I’ll seldom even see it. I play the first 2 levels while waiting on my coffee to brew in the morning. Then I’m off and running and typically never have time for the 3rd, which I never get the first time. By the time I get home again, it has long since expired. Doesn’t sound terribly worth the effort anyway ;)

I have now lost 6 Arena first rounds in a row. The bird level and star rank of the opponents is so far ahead of me that even without them bringing in a full load of specials (but they all do), I wouldn’t stand a chance. Interestingly, I cannot see their specials until we are in the first room where the card count makes it obvious.

The free bird video (before my eventual demise) randomly takes 60 of my gems.

I have not seen the King Pig challenge. Is that at the end of the DC? I seldom get to play past Level 2 because I work all day (imagine that, lol) and don’t have the time to devote.

Can’t believe they actually succeeded in making this game even worse than it was. That took some doing!!

@jon3800…the new hats are available to me here in the US. In the Nest, choose a bird and swipe; you should see them. Why pay 1000 gems for the pirate hats when the multiplier is no different than the cowboys hats for 500 gems?

What a cluster the Arena has become today. Opponents are Level 14/15 to my 9/10 in Streak 1 (and it gets worse from there). Every one of them carrying a full load of specials in every streak. I’m lucky to scratch out 5 points here and there. My lead is very quickly dwindling to people who came from nowhere. Rovio’s got some ‘splainin to do…which they wont!

Uuuuugh! I just fat fingered the purchase of Specials that cost me 1600 gems! Why, why, WHY doesn’t Rovio ask you to confirm before processing something like that? (Rhetorical…I know exactly why…but it still pisses me off). Ack!
