these ads just waste my time nothing more,i never expected that rovio games allows ads that pop up after every single game,So annoying!!
Never mind the popup ads, but those opening web page without authorisation?! :(
sometimes after showing ads,my device redirected to playstore, browser etc.idk what they trying to collect?
Those are exactly the things I talked about. Basically, they try to trick you downloading something. At least it means to author of ad/app, that when download counter of their app increases, it’s artificially increasing “popularity” of their app. “Our app is so popular that it’s already been downloaded X times!”. In short, it’s one of the many deceitful marketing tactics.
idk why rovio allows ads, cant they just ban those ads? almost any other day i heard rovio got best developers!! so why they cant just fix glitches, bugs and ban those ads that collecting our personal data!! who knows?
See my post on why I walked away from this crappy game once and for all.
If you don’t feel like reading, essentially my phone got hacked so I installed a privacy app that alerted me when something tried to access components of my device. To my shock, when I booted up AB2, a request popup came that the game wanted access to:
– my personal contacts
– my FB usage
– my network
– my AppleID (including other games)
– my internet history
So now Rovio is scanning your device for OTHER apps you may be using? There’s something about privacy to be said here and someone needs to blow the whistle on Rovio.
@rawdatasystems It’s more for me observing the continual stream of problems other players are facing- and the new fockery Rovio tries update after update is at a point where it’s stooped so ridiculously low that it’s become amusing.
Recall I started playing this game from day 1 so I’ve seen (and been on) this less-than-wild ride from one of the top gaming apps to a poor excuse for gambling greed enforcement. I walked away after having accumulated 1000+ spells in the bank, bird levels in the 100s, player level 100+, almost all hats, etc… all of which I got by sinking hundreds of hours and grinding the app to collect… only to realize it’s all worthless in the long run because Hovio just keeps changing the rules mid-game to pander to its own goals.
