Sent a couple of emails to Rovio support about possible cheating. It doesn’t make sense when there’s less than three minutes in a tournament and another player can accumulate over 100,000 points. Rovio explained it this way: “the score counter under Current Challenge title should be showing your current score, which needs to be uploaded to our system to compare with other players’ score. Sometimes, there might be a delay in these scores updating to match the current scores.”
That explanation would make sense in a one-off scenario, but this is happening frequently. The limitation of their data ingest and subsequent sharing of scores is misleading. Therefore, if you buy a lot of gems to stay in the number one spot, you truly have no idea where you are in relation to other players. Your purchases are based on out of date scores instead of accurate readings. It’s misleading. It’s like going to the store to buy milk and the price tag says $1.99 USD than you go to the cash register and they charge you $4.99 USD. Why is the price not up to date and accurate? Why isn’t the store telling me the $2.00 I have in my pocket isn’t enough to buy the milk?
Does this make sense to anyone??
