I’ve done the math. The 7 stam battles are best per stamina whether you burn FE to respin or not (but the difference is greater if you don’t)

Yes. I just ran the numbers as well. Assuming you are re-rolling to get the top prize, the average yield per stamina for the 3 stam battle is 183. For the 7 stam battle it is 193. And of course one will have to use half as many re-rolls to get the top prize on the 7 stam battle, as there is a 75% chance to get the top prize, as opposed to 37.5% chance on the 3 stam.

@smwforever45 The rules in this event has changed for me. In my game, it was always 24 hrs for the first gate (since the Illusionist event) and now it has been extended. Let’s see what happens for the next one.

In the last event at least, is was 36 hours for the first 2 gates. My event started at 8 AM EDT yesterday, and my next gate opens at 8 PM tonight.

Expanding on what @jim151 said above, if you don’t respin, average medals per stamina for 3 stam battles is 109, for 5 stam it’s 120, and for 7 stam it’s a whopping 161!

Also, if you respin, you’ll have to do it WAY more than twice as often on the 3 and 5 stam wheels than you will on the 7 stam wheel. With a 25% chance to miss out on the big prize, you can be expected to have to spend roughly 1/3rd FE per battle to get the big prize every time. With a 62.5% chance to miss it, you can expect to spend roughly 1 and 2/3rd FE per battle to get the big prize every time for the 3 and 5 stam battles.

@smwforever45 Well I mailed to them and Ellie replied that the servers indeed fetched different times during some of the previous events due to a glitch on specific devices running Marshmallow. She says the game isn’t quite stable for it. That explains a lot then.

I guess the strategy now, considering the large reward given in the 7-Stamina battle, is to just replay the 3-Stamina until you get the ingredients before completing the other battles (assuming you are lucky or willing to spend FE). There’s no point in advancing quickly to the next locked gate.

So far I only used one to get the 1,050 medals on a 7-stamina battle. I want to use as few FE’s as possible.

In every event battle I thought 7-stamina battle was the best. But after @smwforever45 math (in some old topic) I switched in this event to 3stamina. I was wondering why everyone has so high score on my ladder. Now i know :D I didn’t notice 1050 reward :D

It’s pretty confusing…
They said they revamped the event system in 1.4.6. They must’ve addressed the reward wheel.
Because in the previous mini-campaigns (up until Elite Pirate), 3-stamina battles were always the best choice because 5-stamina and 7-stamina weren’t much more rewarding but cost a lot more stamina.
In this event, however, 5-stamina battles give a 750-medal jackpot and 7-stamina battles give a 1050-medal jackpot. Which makes 7-stamina battles the most rewarding, especially considering the fact you have a 6/8 chance to spin the jackpot up, as opposed to 3/8 on 3- or 5-stamina battles.

So… don’t blame my math. You just noticed it too late I’m afraid. :( (I did new math a bit above.)

That’s exacty what I wrote. I used your math from some old topics and switched to burn 3-stamina to grind 450 points. After I found new info about 1050 points, I changed my mind. I don’t blame you at all. I’ll try to remember to read forum before I do anything in new events :P

When the Events were first introduced, rewards were 250/500/750. This at least gave some risk/reward for the 7-Stam option. Then Rovio changed the max to 450 regardless of stage. This obviously made the 3-Stam option by far the best. Now we suddenly have a whopping 1050, there is once again no real decision in terms of payout. I wonder why this change was made? For the impatient to waste FE?

Hi i am new player which just got Lv 38 without full upgraded equipment (just chase for levelup) , just wondering is there any chance for me to complete this Event ?

i tried every single setup and still cant pass 3rd stage

General tip: Bring Tricksters, Rainbird or Princess if you don’t have Chuck with the Mana set. Also, a bird that can heal. The enemies deal heavy damage and they give annoying harmful effects. It’s good to be safe against both.
My tip for a strategy: Samurai, Druid, Tricksters. That could work well I think.

The pigs are quite difficult to pass, even I can’t always KO a Voodoo Doctor in this event within 2 turns. And I understand how tough it is to pass these levels when you’re not level 60 and have level 60 equipment… Try your best.

so the conclusion i have no chance to collect all needed stuff this event for now right ? well i cannot pass 3rd of first floor , how can i pass to top floor >.<

@smwforever45 Being Level 60 or not doesn’t give you the edge; what does is Max Enchantment and Max Mastery (and maybe some Elite classes). Even at Level 45, I am having a pretty easy time but I can see where players without such gear might have a problem.
This event seems to combine all the annoying parts of the pigs for me but hopefully they are still not as bad as the ninja pigs; I hate them.

Try Princess, Mage, and whichever Red class you prefer (maybe try a few different ones). Attack with Princess, use Mage’s defense on Red, and watch the enemies destroy themselves when they attack Red. Then heal Red with Princess on the next turn.

Paladin is the best Red class for this setup since his attack helps him self-heal too, but since that’s a premium class, I’m guessing you don’t have it yet.

This works well with Thunderbird’s defense spell too (and then you don’t need Princess if you don’t want to), but I’m guessing you don’t have that class yet either.

This setup works well against Ninja pigs too, for what it’s worth. You have to kill the pigs that can dispel your defenses fast though!

@poptimus Specifically for the ninja pigs and the similar, I go with a Venomous team. Since their main attack is low but deal OT effects, it really helps me.

And now that I’ll be getting Elite Stone Guard, it will help as well so that I can switch my team a bit trying out different strategies.
