New event – The Ultimate Weapon

Bonus squad is The Cybertronians, consisting of Shockwave, Acid Storm, Sunstorm, and Trypticon. All these TFs are in the token exchange along with accessories.

I know I was just being sarcastic, because trypticon sucks at shooting blocks, even at level 17 with 20% extra damage. But it’s the only one I have promoted and he’s the least bad of this squad.

It’s one slow bird. I have it at level 12, tried to upgrade it a bit but give up. Another round to Menasor. Good Thing is I’m in top today. Which means tomorrow will be hard… ?

I have a Red crown (+700%) Trypticon at Lvl 17 with +50% Gravity Force and +44% Cooldown accessories. It seems very good at scattering blocks all over the screen, but not destroying much of anything. Most of the Gold blocks gets sucked out of the screen (but not destroyed?) or gets stuck in some crevice that I can’t seem to hit with his weapon.

His inability to destroy anything, just move stuff around the screen, as earned him the name “Crapticon”

@andrewinireland That’s because Trypticon has a tractor beam as his weapon. In fact, other characters have tractor beams for their weapons, but that doesn’t mean they’re crap.

What Trypticon lacks is acid rounds. One can test this using Ultimate/Dark Megatron with and without acid rounds.

@nemesis-hot-rod I’m afraid you are wrong- Crapticon uses a graviton field not a tractor beam. Which at level 19 overpower and upgraded accessories, still moves things around the screen instead of destroying them. Which is crap.

Anyway, I’m expecting the Daily Challenge to throw up Stone Blocks.

I unfortunately use Sunstorm as my Cybertronian representative – this choice was made soon after Sparks were introduced to the game and, at that time, Sunstorm had explosive rounds which were quite effective, like with Thundercracker and Energon Starscream.  But, like most decent things in this game, the explosive rounds were taken away, leaving me with a partially promoted transformer that is otherwise crap.  My Level 20 (+175%) Sunstorm with +82% Damage from fully maxed out accessories still needs up to 3 shots to kill some pigs! And since the game has been bludgeoned (pun intended), giving me no chance of earning the 13,500 tokens required to overpower him further, I guess I’ll never find out if it gets any better!

At the pace I’m headed in this tournament, I don’t think I’m gonna get Acid Storm soon. I may be able to get the bundle when it pops up again someday, but for right now, I may not be able to get him.
