NERF the flying pigs please!

Home Forums Angry Birds Transformers Forum NERF the flying pigs please!

  • Since the last update I’ve noticed a lot of targets are way tougher than they used to be. That’s all well and good, the game is more challenging and hence more engaging. But the flying pigs are too tough. My bots are all maxed out and some of them can’t kill a flying pigs now. Arcee is one of the worst for that she almost got killed because her weapon isnt powerful enough now and they all just dive bomb her before she can hit them. Come on guys! Play some rounds with these new settings before you release them!

    Also could you please come up with a way to remove a “buddy” that doesn’t play anymore that doesn’t involve unfriending them from Facebook? I’m not unfriending my own brother so that he doesn’t show up anymore. He stopped playing a year ago along with some other people…

    @grathe the Aporkalypse has begun! First the Transformers are being messed up by Extient, second the Pigs are becoming seriously buffed, and third- who knows what awful thing could happen next?

    I just use Healthpack now and ignore the flying pigs. I’m always able to recharge to full health after they bomb me.

    Correct Rovio have once again in the middle of an Event messed around will a lot of things. The Flying pigs now new over 8 snots to bring 1 down plus they have also increased the number that appear before you would get around 6 of them but now this update brings a min of 12 to a max of 15. I got killed in the same place 3 times on a node in the same place using Soundwave before 2 shots did it but with some many and all the Soundwave’s power reduced big time they are a waste of time. In the end I swapped him out for a Grimlock and I did get passed the killing point but I lost 3 hearts and then not long after the same amount appeared again and I just made it to the end with a little bit of 1 heart showing.
    These changes have been made to make the game more enjoyable (Rovio’s words) and so they are not going to do anything about it and so they are driving us players away.

    @paul13 the flying pigs are a joke now, high octane bumblebee cannot even take down 1 big let alone a group of them in time.

    Its quite bad how much they have changed with the tfs when you cant take out anything

    Try using ultimate mega Tron he kind of just sucks them all down crashing into the ground.

    @paul13

    @cheeto

    The odd few he can take down but anymore than 4 he no longer does as they jump up out of the way now. I tried him on the same node as above and he was no good as I’ve found the more flying pigs there are the longer any ABT Bots that need to re-charge now takes longer than before and then they kamikaze you, they have even changed that as well you only need to hit him twice and then he bombs you out.
    The worst thing of all is that when we find out a good way to get ahead Rovio takes notice and updates to stop us BUT when we report bugs et al they go deaf and ignores us. Shameful they have become.

    I would love to know how weak transformers and near invincible pigs and WMT make playing the game more enjoyable. Bumblebee and HO Bumblebee can’t kill any pigs anymore. The megatrons and shockwave can’t kill WMT anymore. When your transformers are Level 13-15 you should be able to kill WMTs and pigs with any transformer.

    Not to mention, killing unicron is only possible with only a few characters. They need to increase the power of most of the characters to make them all useful in any situation.

    +1

    I don’t know why making the level 15 transformers unable to destroy anything is fun. I’m not sure what the end goal is there. I honestly don’t bother upgrading my TFs because it feels like upgrading does more harm than good.

    I also feel like the game is modified based on comments on this board. I don’t ever talk about elements of the game I enjoy anymore for fear that Rovio/Exient will take them away. I don’t get it. That can’t possibly be their intent, but it sure feels that way. It’s almost like having a fun, positive experience in this game is considering cheating or “unbalanced” by the developers.

    I was bothered a bit and i played the TF game from my nephew he have at around 6 level his transformers and i played some nodes to help him out a bit, and i found some TFs to be stronger than mine lvl 15… i don’t know what to think of this…

    Soundwave
    @soundwave

    Yeah, it seems the higher your TF level, the tougher your enemies. The problem is that you basically play the same levels and enemies at level 15 as you do at level 1. So the perception is that your TFs never actually get stronger. In many cases I think they get relatively weaker in relation to the increased strength of the enemies.

    In sum, leveling up is not a worthwhile or rewarding experience for me.

    The new slogan for this game should be

    Angry Birds Transformers: Now with 100% Less Fun

    Swing
    @swing

    The problem is that the game is managed by morons that don’t play the game or even understand it. This is a visual game, players want action, explosions, smashing things, etc. We want more firepower not less and Rovio/Exient simply don’t get it, so they are killing the game update by update.

    sheepybach
    @paul13

    Well I’ve just run some nodes on my other Tab which I started a new game on. They are all L4 or L5 and IMHO the game is unplayable as you can’t go very far before the flying pigs arrive in numbers and that is the end of the as they kill you. On average it takes me 10 shots to kill a flying pig and 5 shots to kill a normal pig.
    Galvatron is no good as he only fires once and then take an age to recharge by which time it’s over.
    I just wish they would return everything back to normal so we can enjoy the game again but fat chance of that happening as Rovio believes the changes they have made are for the best. SMH in disgust.

    Soundwave
    @soundwave

    I haven’t played any L4 or L5 characters since the last update. So my comments above about level 6 difficulty vs level 15 difficulty may not be accurate anymore. Beats me.

    beaups
    @grathe

    I went back to using the electroblast with my weaker bots as it knocks them all down and a triple shot drops the balloon pigs too.

    @deszaras

    I keep noticing little nerfs here and there. Regular Optimus Prime used to be a boss with a few accessoroes now he ia almost as bad as the bumblebees. Epic Optimus is weaker now too. Soundwave and Ricochet are beast mode yet it seems every bot looses health ridiculously. The sharckticons and flying pigs are seriously overpowered. The energicons seem to cycle back and forth from some kind of nerf. Photoblast was awesome for a long time then went useless. Glassor sometimes feels nerfed. This game has gone off the rails and almost unplayable.

    @marty-schofield

    The ridiculously overpowered flying pigs seem to coincide with the arrival of Starscream (and now Drift) who have insta-kill flying pig weapons

    acwb16
    @acwb16

    Yeah, the flying pigs aren’t making this ‘more fun’ or ‘challenging’ in any meaningful way – they’re making it damn near impossible. When your ‘try me!’ bot for an event at level 8 (Nemesis this go round) can’t kill them it doesn’t make me want the character. It doesn’t make me want to play the nodes – it makes me feel like I can’t! I can’t use bots until I get them leveled up to at least level 10.

    mommarice
    @mommarice

    Well I think any TF at it’s max level should kill anything and everything. Otherwise what is the point in wasting alllllll that time upgrading them??? Better yet, I’m seriously beginning to wonder what the purpose of this game is besides annoying me to no end.

    Deszaras
    @deszaras

    I dont get why Nemesis Prime is a tryable bot if he isnt able to get. I own everything that’s shown in the token exchange since its only Epic Optimus and Rodimus.

    Phillips
    @phillips

    @lewie4 have you got any official word on why the flying pigs have been made nearly impossible to kill even with level 15 characters. It is not so much that they are invincible but when they take multiple shots each and half a dozen appear at once you can’t kill them all before they crash into you. I like a challenge but impossibilities like trying to destroy all flying pigs before they crash into you is just a cause of frustration.

    sheepybach
    @paul13

    On average out of every event 4 run’s I get killed by Flying Pigs twice either by shooting me or dive bombing me. I’ve not completed a 4 run event since it started and it is a crazy way to set up a game where you know you can’t complete the daily tasks or the event if you are on low levels. Shame on you Rovio

    Googs
    @ncaddy

    I enjoy the increase in difficulty, but I would prefer to see it on a higher level which provided higher rewards….I agree with what @paul13 has said, even more so when you have spent close to 2 years playing your game and upgrading your Transformers to their maximum level….it just doesn’t seem right…if the difficulty setting was correct, it would be an impossible game to play at any level less than 10 or so.

    Rhys4AUFC
    @rhys4aufc

    I agree, there’s only idiots that are in charge of this game & making it a lot less enjoyable.
