My addiction to Angry Birds started in 2010, when I saw my big sister play the original “lite” version (or was it the full version, since I think I once heard that iconic cutscene music while playing). This was back when the game had the ugly CGI loading screen, but then she later played the old free version of Rio and it was the first AB game I played in person on my iPod Touch.
Despite my focus on lost-to-time gems Tap Tap Revenge (which Becky had also introduced me to, after TTR4 came out) and Snoopy’s Street Fair, by the middle of 2012 I had the full versions of Classic, Seasons, Rio and Space after a smart classmate showed me the free versions of them. I regret not downloading them at home back then, because it took me a long time to replay the Frakenweenie version of Where’s My Water Free (which thankfully was also on Android), and believe it or not I “tri-ducked” everything.
