How does winning a gem from defeating eggbot work?

Home Forums Angry Birds Transformers Forum How does winning a gem from defeating eggbot work?

  • So I get this much – if you Intercept a node that is still cooking, the eggbot runs ahead of your TF in the event. If yor TF defeats the eggbot you win a gem.

    My questions are:
    1. If eggbot is not defeated, when he dances with glee as Astrotrain takes away my TF at the end of the event, is that the gem I see embedded inside his bald head that bulges the skin on his scalp as he jumps?

    2. When the wrong node clearing thing happens (if the node I had intercepted is still there at the end of the event) I don’t get a gem even if eggbot was squarely defected, and flew away. At times, I don’t get a gem after defeating eggbot, even if the right node clears. What causes the gem to be released?

    3. At times, I win a gem even when my TF does not defeat eggbot by making him fly away! When my TF is shooting rapidly at the eggbot, sometimes, I see for a brief flash, a gem being released. Then, even though eggbot is not defeated, my gem tally goes up when the event is finished. Anyone else had this happen to them?

I am still figuring out how exactly this ‘win a gem from eggbot’ thing is supposed to work.
