Infantino has been defending World Cup ticket prices by claiming that you can’t get to see US professional sport for less than $300.

His pants are on fire!  I paid about $8 to watch MLB about 15 years ago and it’s apparently not much more now. Even playoff games are less than $300.

Meanwhile hotels are seeing lower bookings than last year.

It’s a mystery.

Weird that I can pound away in Classics trying to claw back a few hundred points on a level for  several days and get nowhere, then switch over to 17-14 in Mine ‘n’ Dine on a level that’s been around for 15 years, use ABo (without any multi-replaying of macros) and get a mind-boggling top score within a few minutes. Not even by some clever new strategy. Not even with a very good second shot. But with (and here’s the rub), a brilliant third shot from Terrance. Along with Matilda, the most annoying bird in the bird pen. But on his day, oh boy!

I’m losing trophies to you boys in Classics but stealthily picking them up elsewhere.

Picked up a couple of ABO trophies myself in Jurassic Pork of all places.Was doing quite well but have hit a brick wall with 35-15.That level is unfathomable.

My Southampton fan friend is pretty disgusted. Not with the punishment. With the club for behaving so reprehensively. It was the only appropriate thing to do. Somebody is responsible and that’s probably the last job they ever have in football. There are consequences.

thanks ‘briann, you can’t have any upper-case because my arm is in a sling for a week and my mouth tastes metallic because i am pumped full of antibiotics. can’t lift twiggy up, can’t butter toast and still can’t play the piano.

Don’t panic @catsnbirds, it wasn’t an accident. I had a pacemaker fitted (hence @briann’s jukebox selection). You have to avoid disconnecting the wires. I’ve explained it all to Twiggy and she is fine. It’s too hot this week for long walks anyway.
