Hi @desperate-dan,

For me, using Classics has been best. For levels that require wood or stone to break, I found that those levels were the best for Classics. I guess my main question would be, is there a difference between ABO and earlier versions of it? I know level 3-2 is a perfect example of having to push something over. It is really impossible using Classics for a level like that. So I guess that brings me to my main question.

Is there any differences from the latest versions of ABO to earlier versions of ABO?

Also, for my next question, is there a difference between BS and Nox?

 

For Classics replay ability, I meant that it was around that time I saw how levels are worth the replay ability. For example, to get better scores. I was going through a time where I was wanting to 3star every level in ABO. I was in Piggy Farm, I was trying to 3Star a level. It was the level with the ball pit. I had to go to the Angry Birds Nest channel. I found out a strategy I never thought of. So I used it, got 3 stars with a good score. But someone in the comments mentioned of a higher score than me… What would you think happen?! I had to beat it of course!! So I did. I was looking for records of scores for a while. But I couldn’t find any other place besides Angry Birds Nest. That’s the story of how I came here! It has been an awesome, friendly community since!

Rovio had the nasty habit of messing around with various levels over time and glitches in particular were usually quickly fixed.I can think of a Golden Egg level where you could complete the level without flinging a bird but that only happens with one version and with the next update it was fixed.(It’s the one found in Mine And Dine 16-9).May be V2.4.0 but not sure,I did download it and it worked but it was a while ago.

Also design flaws that led to amazing high scores were fixed superquick.A good example would be another GE level(Short Fuse 26-15) where initially the level had 5 blue potions that triplicate the pigs but the mayhem on screen was so bad they had to remove 2 of the bottles as screens were crashing etc.Again this is only available on one version(3.4.0)

As I mentioned earlier you will have to do some cross checking using walkthrough comments and the Nest update list to find versional differences but they can make a difference.

Anyway, after rewatching Black Doves (awesome), was in the mood for more Wishaw so am now rewatching Dept Q in preparation for forthcoming second series. Even more awesome, if not for just the car parking alone.

Most of those goals were shipped by English teams.I think we can cut Spurs some slack given the absolute funk they’re in and they were playing FC Simeone.But no excuse for what happened to Chelsea,Newcastle and Man City.Arsenal on the other hand look imperious.

Must say I’m not buying into all this nonsense about their style of play and dependence on set piece play.”Oooh they’re really good at corners it’s not fair!”Problem is defending has become a lost art and in Rice they have someone who can put the ball on a sixpence,repeatedly.They just have to get over the line and cultivate that tropey winning mentality(or trophy-take yer pick).That’s why I think Sunday’s game is important for them,win that and there will be more success to come.

However please don’t talk about quadruples.We’ve had this conversation before-it’s never been done and never will be.Yes I know Celtic did it in 1967 but the Scottish league then as now is basically shite.Look how many trebles have been done by Celtic alone in recent years.Under Brendan Rodgers they did a treble treble.Not happening Dan.

Good flinging on Level 11-13 @briann. I haven’t had too long to get back to that yet, so I haven’t given up on beating your score. It’s been another topsy-turvy week. Yesterday you stole one of my trophies while at the same time I was stealing one of @hallieGinSB’s trophies.

As for quadruples we were discussing Liverpool a few years ago when they went further than anyone fighting on four fronts. You were in the possible camp I was in the not happening camp.

Thing about winning any major trophy(and the League cup is one of those-any comments about toytown can be put in the bin along with the Doc’s Mickey Mouse/Classic scores remark(he really went off on one there didn’t he? Looney Toons anyone?)) is that it gives a team momentum and self-belief. Given Arsenal haven’t won anything for 6 years winning the toytown cup might spur them on to greater things. We’ll see but it would be good to see a different team winning the title other than Liverpool or Manchester City.

Beautiful day here just parked up on a country lane and have just met a belter. Tell you about it later if I can be arsed.

Me and my big mouth, that thing with Nox happened again today.Loaded it up and all my apps were gone.Luckily I tried the Daddy Pig method of closing Nox then switching it back on and the apps reappeared.But I’m sure that happened a couple of times on the previous occasion before they went for good.Gulp!

Giving up so soon @desperate-dan?You normally give it at least 5 days.I wasn’t being glib btw when I said I felt score on B Setup 11-13 was beatable.On one occasion I was sitting at 127k with that far right pig on life support and similarly on another try was on 128k so I think I left 142/143k out there.Wouldn’t have taken much to pop him on either go.A little ‘assisted dying’ on the part of Terrance 2 would’ve done it.

Anyway I’m having another shy at yesterday’s Greedings challeng level as I was close a couple of times to top score and today’s Pig Days level is too much of a lottery.You can easily play 5 good shots and come up short.
