I went over to The Traitors.  For once Celebrity does actually seem to include people with a modicum of talent. I’ve never been a big fan of Alan Carr but he has been very good value so far. On struggling to conceal his identity as a traitor – “it’s been a stretch for my acting ability. I don’t know how Meryl Streep does it” and “I was trying to go under the radar. I seem to have pole-vaulted over it”. TV gold IMO.

According to Pointless, only 70% of people could identify who was elected as Prime Minister in 2024, even when given the initials KS as a clue. However when shown some maracas, 88% were correct.

There is some kind of lesson here that the government needs to learn.

Can’t imagine the same issue in America about identifying their leader. Having said that, Trump has repeatedly blamed Biden for doing presidential things when in fact he, Trump, was President at the time.

And only 2/3 of Americans can correctly identify which party has the majority in the House or Senate.

It’s all rather disturbing.

American politics are rarely dull.Had to laugh at Emperor Ming the other day after  ‘jokingly’ asking the Nobel Peace Prize winner to step aside and give it to him(I’m sure he’s just jealous Obama has one) he says “If Hamas don’t stop killing people we’ll have to go in and kill them”.All without a trace of irony.

Baseball is one of those games I could really get hooked on however the wife is already a football/rugby/cricket widow so one more sport would tip her over the edge.She might even invest in a baseball bat…

Hi Wanda how are you?Flinging much these days?I’m on a bit of a flinging sabbatical atm just the odd daily challenge and mooching about on older versions that interest me.Recently scored 16 million on a Pig Days glitch level but not content with that got 1.8 billion on the endless basketball level(Ham Dunk 4-2).Of course these scores are not permissable on the leaderboard,more for my own amusement and to see whether Rovio’s scoring system could cope with the numbers.

Sadly it seems it’s only me and @desperate-dan that haunt these walls now(sad for Dan that is).I was going to get a priest in to give it the last rites before you popped in.Occasionally @ixan57 gets out of bed with tales of hedge hopping and @catsnbirds is still around .

@hunnybunny used to pop in to roast me now and again but a knee op and a house move have sorted her out. @karen68 hasn’t been active for over 6 mths.

If you’re out there Karen, O Superb Owl just want to give a big thankyou for your massive contribution to the Nest over the years.I’m pretty sure you did a lot of uncredited work re Puppy dispensing and other stuff.Also many great strategies on the walkthrough pages that still hold good.But I think your real gift was in explaining why other people’s high score strategies worked.Your eye for detail combined with a clarity of expression made for some great contributions even a thicko like me can understand.Hope you’re well and “C’mon you Blue Jays!”

Hi @briann still here. Don’t get me started on glitch scores when the the idiots all wanted it their way, collect the scores and close the doors. Spit out the dummy when anyone challenged. That’s what stopped me being active players. Anyway I devrese .How are keeping, hopefully ok. Word of warning do you know tonight is monster in laws practice night, watch out for the broomsticks.
