@briannYes I tried smoking those candy cigs.What a mess.
Remembering the cardboard with the paper folds that came with The Beano and was guaranteed to give yer granny a heart attack when you flapped it.

@desperate-danMaddening day for Welsh Fire: The women had in the bag and threw it away. The men were dead and buried and almost won. Keep eating those pies YJB.
But…played 4 lost 4, normal service resumed.
Trying to smoke the chocolate cigs was far worse.

@briannYeah those Misfires know how to press the self-destruct button though Jonny redeemed himself after dropping that dolly behind the stumps.

@briannHey @catsnbirds see the NFL pre-season games have started ,are you looking forward to the new season?(Do I need to put a LOL in at this point?)
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danI’m drinking alone, celebrating getting a virtual pup on Danger Above 6-8. It’s the second in two days (@comex666 was yesterday) after a gap of about 3 months I think.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danStar Wars 2 on Tbe Challenge?
Brian N
@briannBy strange coincidence have recently started playing Star Wars 2 after many years away.In terms of game play it was always my favourite but never had an interest in the scoreboard as character swaps and LCS skewed the scores.My obsession was beating the average with only the line up given and collecting hidden items ,maps and coins by the same means which I succeeded in doing apart from 2 coins.
I noticed a year or two back that the scores on my old tablet had been zeroed due to Rovio pulling the plug on the synced account I used so thought I’d go round again just for the fun of it.However I soon became aware that with the passage of time some of my scores have dropped below av. and I can feel my obsession starting to kick in.Think I’ll maybe just take note of the levels and come back if I can be arsed.
I blame Wicket182 and Chiefbumpa as their remorseless battle to be SWII top dog has pushed these averages up over the intervening years (reminds me of someone who does that in ABO).
Something else I noticed is that you can’t download SWII onto a new device anymore(certainly not a complete version,maybe some of the older versions are workable).Thought it would handy to have it on Bluestacks but a message saying: ‘Assets not available’ appears and the game won’t load.So having to use my battered old tablet.Such fun.

@desperate-danI’m disappointed, especially as we actually had a run of ABo levels recently which I had a go at (and got a non-pup as I said). Spent a week or two fending off the doc who had sneakily got ahead of me in Red’s Mighty Feathers. Still putting off the evil day when I hit Jurassic Pork. I need to load some different versions to chase specific levels and it’s too much bother.
Welsh Fire Women 73-9 off 100 balls. It can’t get any worse. Utterly pathetic.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWell, here’s some Welsh excellence.

@ahdows11Classic master@desperate-dan,will you continue playing Tutorial? If you play 0-13, 0-14, and 0-15 seriously, you can still improve by about 30,000 points.(version 7.5.0 is required for 0-15)
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWelcome to the BP @ahdows11. Excuse the tumbleweed. And most of the stuff on the jukebox. Thanks for reminding me about Tutorial. You are right about those later levels – I’m well behind. The problem with those levels, as I am sure you know, is that they are incredibly time-consuming. It can take 20 minutes or more just to have one attempt. 0-13 is particularly frustrating, as it rests and falls on getting the very last shot bang on. I can’t remember whether I have used 7.5.0 on 0-15 or not. I will probably load it up and have a go as I have just started switching around versions again (back in version 1.6 at the moment searching for early bugs). The only way to get really high scores across all levels is to use various versions, Classics being the best of all, but a combination of UptoDown (for the .apk versions) and Nox (for the emulator) works well for me. My main regret is not being able to run Classics (a.k.a Red’s First Flight) through Nox, but there again, it doesn’t have the Tutorial.
ahdows11
@ahdows11I understand you. The later levels are indeed very time – consuming, but once you succeed, you can get a huge improvement. Also, are you using a PC now? Maybe you can play 3-5 in the early version on the PC. There’s a very small chance that the building will self – destruct (some people in the comment section have also mentioned it), so that you can complete the level with 0 birds. It might help you get a higher score.
Brian N
@briannReally enjoying my leisurely stroll through SWII and surprised to find only 3 levels so far where I’m under par(up to Rebels Pork Side) though I do just scrape it in quite a few levels(by 3 points on one…gulp…I’d better crack on before Wicket gets wind of it!)
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWelsh Fire now with a 1-7 record. Even our American friends will realise that’s not a healthy position.
Brian N
@briannThink that’s an improvement on last year @desperate-dan.
Think I’ve gotten as far as I can go on SW II having 3* on all but one level(BM-30,it’s an absolute beezer.Have gone through a dozen Mace Windu’s trying to replicate the Nest video(I think it’s an AI fake)).Think I remember how I did it last time but it’s a long haul.
The other problem is waiting for characters that you need to appear in the Carbonite Melt in order to unlock the reward levels.I remember when I last played it there was a glitch that let you get 3 or 4 melts in one go and you could extra coins by watching videos,sadly that’s no longer the case.You could also get 200 coins for logging into Rovio account that are no longer available.Altogether now”Rovio sucks”.
Still have about 6 of those reward levels left and the characters don’t appear in any of the levels and are mainly quite rare in the melt.Have some coins left-must use wisely.Did flub Lando and Chopper(burned 6 of them).See what I did there?
Also still have those annoying below average levels to think about and my OCD can’t decide what to do about it.How does that work?
Brian N
@briannHey @hallieginsb while I’ve been amusing myself with SW II I notice you’ve been deleting your scores there.What’s that all about?
Brian N
@briannVictory for pigheaded stubbornness .
Brian N
@briannAnd the reward was an unlimited supply of a naff Luke Padawan of which I had about 20 and are useless,Almost worthy of a GGGGaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!
