    The high speed reverse Remi second shot was almost my best – a pig failed to pop and I was left with close to about 127k. Think I’ll give up. Not really sure what to do now. Managed to sneak back ahead of asher on Birdday Party and Bad Piggies, now just need to lie low and hope he doesn’t notice. Perhaps seek out some gliches, still a few to find.

    My window cleaner says he’s coming today.

    Good luck with that mate. Twiggy’s ears were horizontal on our morning scamper round the block.

    @desperate-dan

    Well, he turned up. Did the windows. Said he wasn’t insured to go up a ladder. You’re made of sterner stuff north of the border @brianN.

    @briann

    Did you scamper round the block @desperate-dan?More to the point were your ears horizontal?I think we should be told.

    Window cleaners are a strange breed and we all have our quirks.

    My new name for DJT is Pennywise:

    1 He’s venal and every decision he’s ever made is based on lining his own  pockets and those of his pals(the ones in the clowncar) and screw Ukraine and everyone else.

    2&3 He’s an evil effing clown.

    I think “lying on a colossal scale never seen before” captures it nicely.

    Zelensky has an approval rating of 4%??? Hmmm. I think any world leader who still has an actual and genuine approval rating of 57% after six years in power is outperforming pretty much every other world leader.

    Have to agree with you @desperate-dan(not just with the above comment) about Black Doves being worth another series although it’s set up to resemble Gangs of London(no bad thing in my book).Didn’t want to see Ben Wishaw getting bummed in his hotel room…er I wasn’t in his hotel room I mean on the show…should I get me coat?

    See Amazon now have the rights to James Bond ,is that another great British institution gone to the dogs?(I know the Broccoli’s weren’t exactly English but Bezos is a cabbage in league with Pennywise).Dr Who has already gone in my opinion(though I don’t blame Disney for that).All of the big English premier league clubs are now foreign owned.The Hundred just sold it’s soul to mainly Indian IPL owners(with some heavy US investment)(The impact on English first class and Test cricket yet to be determined but not good,we’re already seeing some English cricketers selling out to the franchise merry-go-round and that will only get worse).I could go on but what’s the point?

    Rant over.

    Sorry @catsnbirds you know I’m not anti-American just anticlockwise…er …Pennywise.How are things over there has the Don managed to muzzle the press  or are they accurately reporting his senile rantings?

    Brian N
    @briann

    Hey @hunnybunny you’re quiet are you on a secret cruise?On a serious note how’s the other half ?

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    Rant over?

    Pull the other one.

    You’re just warming up.

    @briann

    As for you @ixan57 have you fallen asleep again?

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    My Welcome to Welsh book advertises on the front page that it teaches Welsh in real life situations. So, in one of the first examples the wife is at home watching the television news. The headline is that the local factory is on fire and the night shift are working there. The husband works there! They are evacuated and he has to come home. He comes home early and she asks why he’s come home. There are clearly some holes in the plot. I’m not really sure what this says about Wales and the probability that the phrases I learn from this scenario would ever be useful.

    But you never know.

    Yes I could go on but I won’t.See a forty-six y/o horse made the news today.I’ve been married to a nag for 26.(This is fake noos my wife is absolutely lovely and almost as laid back as me(except for noticing loads of stuff I haven’t done and stuff I have done but not very well-apart from that no nagging).

    @briann

    We keep interupting each other Dan imagine if Ixan Bunny Karen CnB were all trying to talk at the same time?It’d be like reading Welcome to Welsh(15 defeats in a row I fear).

    We’ve played a few cover versions lately this one is more than worthy of the original.https://youtu.be/8d2I8bjrAcw?si=Y28tE6_2A__PcVlT

    Phrases from Going to The Game.

    Look at his legs Mari, they’re like oak trees.

    Did you bring the whiskey bottle?

    We won but I didn’t understand the game. The players had good legs.

    I crashed the car on the way home.

    Welsh is fun!

    Brian N
    @briann

    Sounds like an episode of Jack Reacher(this is a genuine guilty pleasure).

    @ixan57

    @BrianN just back from a mini cruise to Amsterdam with a 2 night stop over. Had a fantastic time.

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    That mini cruise was called Tom.

    Gotta get to page 1000 somehow.

    Brian N
    @briann

    I think Bunny is on that two year cruise that left Belfast a while back.

    ixan57
    @ixan57

    Great time in Amsterdam, very friendly people, Great pubs restaurants and plenty to do and see. One minus the streets were covered with litter and piled up rubbish (seagull haven) don’t know if there was a strike on. I thought Glasgow was bad but this was bad. The ship was top class, the crew all philippeno (whom could not do enough for you) except captain and his lot German and four Newcastle bouncers in the night club who were top class, gave one a pack of duty free fans when he was on deck smoking and free drink kept coming to the table all night.  y aye man. North Sea ferry but got the works. Benidorm 18th March and then big cruise autumn/winter off peak not sure where yet. @BrianN you did ask.

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    The nightmare scenario is that @ixan57 and @hunnybunny end up on the same ship.

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    Whole dog going sideways this morning. She’s very plucky, I’ll give her that.

    I’ll leave post number 1000 to somebody else. @hunnybunny?

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    Fed up with waiting.

    Idiotic quiz answer of the day.  Which BBC live nature programme was first broadcast in May 2006?  The choice was Springwatch or Autumnwatch.

    The contestant spent a long time explaining why it was Autumnwatch. The penny never dropped.
