I could probably have recharged only three times and still come in top 3.

So I basically used 340 gems too get into first.

I managed to come first in the first two days of this event. In the third day I almost finished in 4th, but I managed to come in 3rd. I had 2 minutes to finish one more run, and earn 1,5k. I choose my old team – EG and Soundwave. EG for the bonus in % and Soundwave, because I could rush through the stage, killing most of the blocks. I finished with less than 10 seconds remaining, but my score was uploaded, and I get the bonus.

I have 7k tokens now, and I’m currently in 4th place. I have 25k points, and the 1st have 50k already, so if he don’t go to sleep, I don’t think I will be able to reach him. I think I can advance to 2nd or 3rd with a few recharges.

P.S.: Missile day and 50% of my runs were on pig city. Great! :(

I’m currently sitting on 59k points and hoping to hit 100k without spending any gems. First place already has 112k.

Currently have 6860 tokens and when I get 250 for hitting 100k I will have 7110 tokens. With this is mind my aim is to get 1500 tokens on Tuesday and weds to get me 10k for the new tf.

My team for this event is e grimlock with 120% and scorponok with 75% x 4 for the event so a total of 420% after each run.

Hate missile day as I always seem to get pig city and this is a nightmare for this day.

No kidding.  When I hit Pig City, my average run is like 300 points (pre-bonus).  Everywhere else it’s like 1,000+

21 runs so far today (2 recharges) and only one BP and no Unicron runs.

I fought Unicron once on each of the previous days. That makes the difference in my choice to try to fight for the first place.

I was using UM while Unicron had his shield raised, so I could slow down the progress on the stage, then I call EG to hit him when shields were off. I managed to kill him this way on all three encounters.

Had just a pig city run and got 269 before bonus, what a waste of a run.

Had a unicron run earlier and managed to take him down and got just over 13k so helped a lot to get to 100k score for today. In second now with 89k and no recharges first still had 112k so I may try for first place.

Frickin’ Pig City runs are killing me.

Every time I recharge, at least one of the runs is in Pig CIty too, so a total waste.

26 runs so far, and still no Unicron, and only one BP.

Some of you guys must be getting all of the bad leaderboards and/or all of the bad runs with this event because I’m doing really good against the competitors on all of the leaderboards I’m getting so far, and with minimal gem spending. Also, I have encountered both the Boss Pig and Unicron Pig at least once for each daily challenge. The chances of an encounter with either the BP or Unicron are probably very random, which is probably why some of you guys don’t have any encounters at all. Since gem spending can only do so much to improve a player’s score, there are probably other factors involved, too, regarding the scores, such as rank in the game, upgrade levels of the Transformers that are actively participating in the event, the total promotion bonuses, and whether or not a player is competing against any cheaters (if they themselves are not cheating).

Day 5 is white (stone) blocks. Should be another good scoring day. Expected token levels are:

1. 100 @ 1000 (x) – Tot: 100

@jimmy-necessary they said it was “apparent that this player has found a way to cheat the leaderboard system”. Advised that they would look into the case and flagged them to their game development. Also noted that the upcoming game update (this was in March so there have been a few updates since then) would include more strenuous cheater detection.

They originally only offered compensation of 150 gems because I still managed to finish 2nd. Took a little bit but was eventually able to explain to them that 150 gems is equal to only 300 tokens and by being cheated out of 1st lost 500 tokens so got an additional 150 gems (300 gems total).

Not a bad start today, after the first four runs I was sitting on 26K! currently on 50K now and second.

first has 71K and only need 1500 tokens now to reach 10K

Currently 33k with 7280 tokens till now. Next is 200 at 50k points. Hope to reach 100k today and for a good position at leaderboard, but first is already 126k Gold Crown Scorponok, so will be impossible to be reached. For sure I will have to spend some gems at the end of the event to get the Cop.

 

I will not even think to get some sparks with this tokens.

Ended up grabbing all the barricade accessories and sparks, maybe I just got favorable matchups, but this has been an easy competition.  Nothing left to play for now, time to take a break.

I learned a hard lesson yesterday: don’t be greedy.

I could surpass the 1st place and put some advantage over him about two hours before the competition ended. But then he started to react. I used some recharges to show him I was alive in the competition, but he continued to spend recharges one after another, as I did too.

The greatest JARSU is that 3/4 of my runs one each recharge occurred on the pig city. I could not keep ahead of him. I reached a point that I had to stop, because even if I succeeded finish in first, it would not be worth the amount of gems spent. I spent at least two recharges for nothing, since those were only to stay ahead of the first place, and I couldn’t accomplish this.

Well, I’m the one to blame in this case. I felt challenged, and I was overconfident that I was going to win. Overall I am satisfied with my results in the competition, but yesterday was a disaster.

Same as me yesterday. Try for 150k, but with a lot pig city stop after third recharge at 123k. I was hoping for second Unicron to help me to reach 150k, but NO just a tons of pig city. Today I will try for 100k, not so hard to be reached and will just get the position on the leatherboart that will gave me. Hope for 2-3, but probably will be 4-6. Also hoping tomorrow as last day to be a little better on the leaderboard, as most of the players that spend tons of gems for reload should get Cop already and to get rest. Probably at the end will be with about 500-600 tokens short.

Yesterday, had a total of 40 runs (5 recharges for 210 gems) and managed to come into first.

Didn’t need that final recharge – with an hour remaining the #2 guy just stopped playing for whatever reason, but I had to buffer just in case.

The Pig City runs really hurt.  Earlier in the day, I was averaging around 3,300 points per run (after bonus), but my final average was closer to 2,900, which should give you an idea of how bad things got.

Unicron didn’t show up at all.  If he had, I likely would have been able to skip the last recharge,  I wonder if the game takes that into account?

Maybe your last recharge was what make the second place stop playing. Unicron appears to me next to the end of the competition. It never appears early in the game for me. I think it randomly appears after a certain number of runs.

It’s possible, although #2 was actually ahead of me for most of the day and was actively playing (and recharging) throughout.  It was only in the final hour that I managed to pull ahead of him.
