    @bubbley interestingly my data is opposite in terms of numbers in myself vs Enemy being KOd, but overall similar (as really should be expected):

    Over 126 battles.

    Myself: 266 procs out of 403 KOs = 66.0%
    Enemy: 426 procs out of 612 KOs = 69.6%

    I used Chrono for every battle, which I find helps vs Resurrection as I can guarantee a KO of a dangerous Enemy as Resurrect can only proc once per turn per Bird (as TJ). I lost twice, both with a different than normal lineup, thanks to objectives.

    Together, the numbers homogenise even further towards the expected:

    Our Teams: 714 out of 1072 = 66.6%
    Opposition: 830 out of 1226 = 67.7%

    I think the numbers show that the advertised proc rate is correct and that any malicious AI advantage is simply not real.

    If anyone wants to add their own data to ours, please report it, but I think I am done as well, unless some disparate numbers come up requiring further collection.

    @pointless Hmm, so maybe with Enchantment Rovio reinforced the notion of Set items being more important (since they go upto 10 instead of max o6 for others) above anything else.

    Pointless
    @pointless

    @datguygamer yes, definitely, as Rovio wants us to spend LCs (ie RW$) to both acquire and Enchant Sets, as these are clearly better than the alternative.

    Um, I am not 100% sure but I think something went wrong with Rovio’s auto-detect-cheaters algorithm this week when points were doubled in the Arena.

    A few hours ago I was in 7th place with the top 5 all had over 100,000 points (not unbelievable considering the points you could get this week). Now when there were only a few minutes left of the league-week I checked again and I was now promoted to 2nd place.

    This means I either had 5 cheaters in my league or the algorithm was not tweaked to consider the double point gain. Most likely scenario is that the algorithm is wrong though.

    OK, this is weird. I just had an enemy Rouges put a cupcake trap on my banner. I wasn’t using any bird or item which would cause that, if there is one. Didn’t get to see how it would have affected the enemy birds, as I won the battle on my next turn.

    Pointless
    @pointless

    @angryjohnny I was just going to report something related to that. It looks like Rovio has finally decided to approach the cheaters properly, in that they are zeroed at the end of the week, thereby pulling the carpet out from under them without a chance to recheat.
    I finished first with over 107K in my Diamond bracket, simply due to the double medals and the fact that I was actively grinding to collect data on Valiant procs. I remained first (as I should, as I in no way cheated), but the second player at just over 72K was reset to 0, and therefore demoted, as the final tally was displayed. Looks like you experienced the same thing.

    If this is indeed the case, congratulations Rovio! A long overdue and welcome addition!

    Knock out 3 birds with one attack has become an impossible task for me. I cannot remember the last time I was successful in this task. Just lost my third battle before doing it even once.

    @smwforever45

    @jim151
    I find other objectives harder to be honest. For 3 birds with one attack, I usually use Wizard, Berserk and Spies. A bit of luck would be good too. If you win the coin toss, attack the strongest enemy bird with Wizard, then attack the now strongest enemy bird with Spies, do the rest with Berserk. If the enemy birds get a move now don’t sweat it, let them execute their turn, then depending on how much health they have left, use your remaining birds to do the rest. That’s what often worked for me.

    Jim151
    @jim151

    Thanks. I understand the basic strategy. My problem is that the lineups I face are either too strong to pussyfoot around, or they have the resurrection emblem. My go to team is Wizard, Spies, and Capt’n. I either end up killing one while trying to weaken the team enough so that explode will do the trick, or one or more resurrects, or I lose the battle while trying to finesse the problem. I run into the former problem when the enemy has protectors aura, or rage shield, or Chuck or Blues has the resurrect set while the other doesn’t, thus I end up killing one while trying to get to the second life of the other. In other words, I’m sometimes too strong, and other times too weak to get the job done. I haven’t been successful even one time in killing all 3 in the last 3-4 times I have gotten this objective. Today I killed all 3 with explode 3-4 times, but always with the resurrect emblem, and one or more did not die every time.

    Pointless
    @pointless

    @jim151 it really does require some finesse, moreso than any other objective (save perhaps the KO ten in a battle). Pass on trying to do this against Resurrect as it adds another level of chance that really is not needed. Win those battles outright, ignoring the objective, or McCool them away. Your strategy is sound, but remember the objective is highly based on chance, and if things don’t go your way in setup, simply plow through the battle and try again next time. It is a dangerous proposition to keep trying.

    Dallasreds
    @dallasreds

    @sutekh137 helped me with this a long time ago.

    @jim151

    It requires some luck but it works if you win the toss. You have to be patient if you lose the toss.
    I use Mighty Set and underdog emblem. Use Capn/scissors Skulkers/beep and chuck/lightening.
    You would like chuck to get knocked out. First round use skulkers on himself and Capn on himself. Use wizard to attack whoever has the most health.
    Second round use sulkers and wiz if needed to reduce health if needed w/o killing anyone. Then use Capn explode w/ Chili. Do not fight anyone w/ resurrection banner or manna set. I have been sucessful with this many times.

    abcdefg
    @abcdefg

    I found an anti-AoE strategy. Just need dang Skulkers for it. Guardian, Cleric, and Skulkers. First use Skulkers one Guardian to lower 25%, then use shield on guardian and shield on Cleric.The shield on Cleric will be -45%, -25% of each of the lower attack power and then the shield. So it will block 95 percent of all AoE dammage.

    RedYoshi45
    @smwforever45

    @abcdefg
    Do the percentages actually add up like this, 45+25+25? That would be somewhat of an effective shield.

    abcdefg
    @abcdefg

    @smwforever45 I do believe that, but remeber that Cleric 45 shield will only work if you are fighting an all AoE team. Also, if you do not have Skulkers use Samurai instead for a 50-40-40 shield. But the problem with that is that it only last 1 turn

    Pointless
    @pointless

    @abcdefg it does not stack. If you use Skulkers on Guardian all will get the shield, but an additional buff is worthless. Not to mention the wasted turn setting this up…

    GrauGeist
    @graugeist

    @jim151 – I really dread that objective. If I don’t complete it in the first 2 or 3 fights, it’s exceedingly difficult to complete at all once you’re up against 1550+ rated teams. The recent Valiant nerf has made that objective harder, with more high-level teams running Resurrection, instead of TJ / Retaliate / Vengeful.

    datguygamer
    @datguygamer

    @pointless
    My share:
    150 battles
    Squire Pig on my side: 437 out of 789 Knockouts
    Squire Pig on AI side: 671 out of 820 Knockouts

    I used Resurrection for all battles and out of 150 battles (789 KOs) it processed 124 times.

    Maybe it will help your research further.

    Bubbley
    @bubbley

    @pointless thanks for your help with this data. Yes I think it is as advertised. I did notice that there were runs when the enemy had triggers every time but then also the opposite, which is why a large data sample is needed.

    Another myth exploded.

    angryde
    @angryde

    @datguygamer Sorry man! Venomous + Blessed is still a great team re: this objective! But I am biased ;-)

    datguygamer
    @datguygamer

    @angryde I don’t understand what you mean. I never said that Venomous + Blessed was not a great team. I just said that I cannot use that setup since I don’t have the Resilience Emblem.

    angryde
    @angryde

    @datguygamer Hey, it doesn’t matter anyway because you’ve already beaten the objective to which your original question referred. I was simply apologizing for not having read your previous posts in-full: i.e. I hadn’t realized that you’d not (yet) reached diamond; and, therefore, were not able to utilize the ‘Resilience’ emblem. It’s all good. Good luck.

    Ed. And, obviously, the utility of the ‘Venomous’ line-up re: beating that objective is not substantially diminished by omitting the ‘Resilience’ emblem. Any non-multi-target, damage output related emblem would do just as well.

    datguygamer
    @datguygamer

    How many of you who are/were in Diamond League use Resilience? I myself see a lot of Chrono Crests but rarely do I see players with Resilience. Is it bad or good? Considering what it does, shouldn’t players use it more?

    Bubbley
    @bubbley

    @datguygamer Resilience is quite popular but I mostly see Chrono, Retaliate and Resurection. I use Retaliate myself but I would use Vengeance if I didn’t have a bug in my game. Resilience is particularly useful if you use a venomous team.

    Jamairoqui
    @jamairoqui

    @pointless @angryjohnny I saw something similar in my league last week as well. The person in first place had 180,000 points, which was high but seemed to be reasonable. The person in third had around 80,000, and I was in second with a little over 100,000. I didn’t think anyone was cheating, but first and third were relegated to zero. It made no sense.

    The double points event was dumb, it was just a grindfest with no lead being safe (I think that if I were willing to play several hours a day, I could have gotten +180,000 points in a week). I think they should do an event in the arena giving out a shard for completing the objectives where it is like the old LC daily GP, where it increased by one LC for each consecutive day you won the GP battle. So you could get 28 shards in a week.

    Overall though, league play is a lot tamer now than it used to be. It used to be you needed at least 12,000 points per day to do well in the upper leagues. Now I rarely see people break 10,000 points per day, and if you can get 7500 that is a lot. Something changed.

    datguygamer
    @datguygamer

    Is this a bug? RIGHT after I got the popup saying “You have been promoted to Platinum League” I was given the option to roll the wheel. But after I got my prizes, it AGAIN showed me “You have been demoted to Platinum League for not participating in the previous week”. Like WTF? It gave me two different messages back to back! Why? Has anyone seen this happen?

    I am in Platinum and at #1 but this was just weird.
