Arena leagues' benefit?

Hey,

Do players get any benefits from being in higher Arena leagues?

For example, do I get better rewards or something if I’m in the Bronze League as opposed to Vanilla?

Black pearl rewards do increase as you progress through the leagues, but gem rewards don’t. Instead, worser places will reward you a low ammount of gems too. For example in Diamond league place 7 worth 5 gems, in Amethyst it’s only 10 pearls and no gems.

Are you talking about the rewards you get for placing 1st, 2nd, etc.?
What about the motivation for players to stay in certain league? If one reaches the last one for example, they still get placement rewards at the end of the league and just stay there? Is that the only motivation to be in that league?

Yes, the reward for the places. The motivation is the better rewards but beyond a certain point it simply doesn’t worth it. So don’t mind which league you’re in as long as you’re winning something.
