After nearly giving up on the game till I got an official upgrade notification from Google Play, Team Multiplayer is working for me too. I got to 200,200 score now.

We’re down RACERX now so well another step back towards 1 million count. The racer departure gives @vuks the official lead even though it doesn’t give them credit for their million eggs yet

@platium … if you want to try to re-join us, we obviously have competition now against the TEAM VUKS

@corporaldaesn … are you coming back to game? spot open for you if you want it.

@phoenix6 … happy belated birthday! bet you would have enjoyed your day more if the Packers didn’t lose a second game in a row! Carolina is a strong team and Cam looks unstoppable right now … bet you’ll see them again in playoffs!

@vuks … thanks for the message back … it makes it easier to handle the #2 ranking getting to know you better and applaud your (and apparently Bella’s) strategy :) BTW…I am familiar with VUKS story too … my girlfriend is Hungarian and learned it from her when I told her your team name! Small world we all live in isn’t it ?

Is there a new update around? I was unable to play mostly due to the slowdown on the Halloween update. There is no fun in doing a race against a million PUs/SPs and have it take 3-5 minutes to complete.

@oldschool … no official update.. there isn’t an official “new” update around. I am patiently waiting for one before I start getting “too competitive” again on attempting to earn more eggs or gems.

I reached back to Rovio support advising them that the game seemed more stable and that team multiplayer is working on my device. She replied stating that they’re still working on known game issues about it crashing AND something she called “save state roll backs”

I think this is referring to when you progress in the game BUT it doesn’t save and rolls you back to your state before you started. (i.e. you win +6 gems on daily event, game crashes end of race and it when you rejoin the game, you do not get credit for those gems)

I say this cause it happens to me every daily event now. I’m back to “day 4: +800 coins” on the event vs “day 7: +10 gems” … I’m traveling backwards as though I’m not completing the event.

Since I’m not familiar with Finland’s culture, I did a google search on “Salla” to understand origin of name … it’s actually a city in Finland with population of 3,800 people … has a lot of history about it and suggests there could be a story on why the name was chosen … then I did more reading an it said name is a variant of the name English “Sally” and why I referenced to Salla as “she” earlier in my note … I also had in my head maybe there was a relation to the name “Stella” in there somehow but that’s just my imagination thinking I was exchanging messages with “the inspiration for our beloved little pink bird Stella :)

@platium … forgot to mention in my last post … I’m on holidays rest of week so I will be more active kicking out newbie racers. We get them constantly with Racer X leaving and I had given your spot away. If you want to try to rejoin, drop me a note. If you’re still stuck with team multiplayer problems, I understand if you won’t want to waste time trying to join right now :)

Kicking out newbie racers is less fun than it usually is for me as the game immediately shuts down and I’m forced to restart…

JUBANG is back on our team … putting us less than 2,000 eggs from the 1 million. Even the leaderboard is showing us at 998,XXX and so naturally, I tried to race now in attempt to get our milestone … the dreaded “you must be connected” message appears tonight. I guess I won’t ever see 1 million … and who knows how long our mercenary racer will stay with us!

I and Bella just noticed a strange pattern, when SteveP and you told that you can connect team multiplayer, we couldn’t (yesterday and day before that). Today we can play again without any problems. Lets see who can play tomorrow!:)

Well I was able to race us to within 1000 GEs of a million. I was optimistic that Rovio had solved their connection issues for everyone using the Halloween update but it sounds like a number of you are parked back in their garages again.

@abgofast and @stevep thanks for the attempt on the great gift…it’s the thought that counts I guess. One day I hope to trust it enough to enjoy it. :)

We hit our 1 million milestone “unofficially”! Team multiplayer was working this morning for many of us and we finished it off! The ABGO leader board update is lagging but it does now show VUKS @vuks over the 1 million mark “officially”

Thanks to each of you for your dedication to the team and this goal … it’s not been easy to say the least given all the technical challenges this game has put forward

One racing note —

Anyone else noticing how unstable the SubZero karts are since Halloween update … specifically on team multiplayer … my bird drivers keep falling out of sled or the sled even though fully max’d out keeps falling apart at specific spots on the tracks. This didn’t happen before as I have my preferred line down each track mastered…following it now is less than ideal. I’m going to have to come up with something else here cause I used to dominate these tracks and the rests since update are not acceptable…lol

Yes I was racing too when we passed our milestone. Lovely feeling after all this misery. And I agree with you @abgofast something has happened to the SubZero tracks. My kart respawns and I fall out maybe 4-5 times on those tracks.

@abgofast The subzero problems started for me after the September iOS update. I was able to race for 2 or 3 days after the update before everything went to crap. The snow races were my favorite until this happened-now, not so much.

@janmej — Yes … I managed to get the picture I posted then things changed to 1,000,014 rather quickly :) The fun for me was trying to figure out if I should race for “odds” or “evens” to get to the 1,000,001 … it’s not a truly evenly distributed palindrome but does still meet the definition of one :))))

Thanks for your and @stevep’s feedback on Sub-zero. I’ll write Salla a message on it but suspect it will be lower on their “issues” list. I have had back and forth all week with her.

I’m helping troubleshoot why they can’t seem to send gems to Rovio accounts. She’s tried a half dozen times and I have yet to receive anything in the mailbox. In fact, the mailbox doesn’t even show up on my home screen anymore. Maybe if one of you finds a lucky box, please send it along so I can send them a shot of the mailbox and this arrival. I will always return a lucky box if I receive one ;)

My role isn’t so fancy…I’m just sharing screen shots of before and after of all her attempts. She told me she’s creating “full documentation and a case” to present forward of my user experience. I think identified quickly that I’m not just a “complainer” but a dedicated player.

Rovio seem to NOW also fully acknowledge the team multiplayer issues so I have been updating them on it’s availability too. They finally saw evidence of my WIFI strength through my screenshots and my “must be online to proceed” messages making no real sense them why it was happening.

I get the usual “please have patience” and “we’re working on it with the utmost urgency” so I take these baby steps as progress to making the game better for all of us.

Something happen to the ‘Nasty-Vuks’ team alliance. You went from over 1 million on the scoreboard today to 383,710. Maybe just Rovio leader board all messed up. It usually doesnt make sense but this os a big change and has me wondering what happened…

Regarding team ranking table I was glad to read that our real score finally was displayed for a moment “officially”!:) It seems that developers have started to fix it, but their first attempt failed apparently. At this moment our team’s real score is 1017971 GEs, so I agree with you that leader board is totally messed up…

After new September epic ABGo update for iOS I already noticed that SUBZERO cart Strike Out L4 has become useless due cart endurance significantly decreased, the driver fell out of the cart 3-6 times in race. I already wrote to support, but without any results yet. So it’s a new challenge to find the best cart for new update.

@stevep — I have written Salla again on this issue this morning but didn’t hear back yet. With weekend here now, I expect we’ll be waiting on her reply. I asked if our team someone flagged (same with Vuks as their standing makes no sense). The mystery gets bigger because in past, when we had that large negative result from that cheater that came on our 10th spot a few months ago, we were shown at the very very bottom of the leaderboard. Now we don’t appear at all.

I am sort of giving up on ABGO! for a while now that Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds Pop have both launch 20 new levels. Something else to do while I wait for our race to return to green flag racing!

@abgofast We are back on the leaderboard, with a total of 821 GEs! I have been able to race today, with some success. We’re racing against the other low ranking teams and its easy to get 18 GEs, but it’s not very fun.

@stevep — Salla did get back to me. She also mentioned @vuks ticket about their leaderboard problem. She specifically said the game is having troubles for teams with more than one million points! It’s almost like the game doesn’t accept it! The developers are working on solution but they have no resolution. At least we’re on the board again cause ever since this happened, I’ve been unable to race team multiplayer. I’ll try a bit later on…just got home from long long work day.

For any teammate wanting to hit a personal milestone, now’s the time to try and race! We’re so low in the ranking we can dominate the egg count! The newbies and wall-bangers won’t see us coming … I can only hope the use of power ups is far less frequently. It would fun to do some less frustrating racing for a bit … fingers crossed you all can connect to it. Lord knows, it’s been hit or miss so often I have no idea when I start the game what to expect!

Well … looks like we lost @dbkraemer from the team as he does not appear on the team page now. This is odd simply because I know he doesn’t play the game much if at all anymore. So I’ve kicked out a couple of newbies this morning and each time I do the game closes.

The funniest part is that we’re back under 1 million eggs BUT on top of the Go! Leaderboard as #1 team because of the continued leaderboard problems

So what does this all really mean? Shocker Special: We can’t race now !!!

I haven’t been able to connect to team multiplayer since we moved back up the leaderboard. This stinks! But what is worse? @phoenix6 is within 1,000 of the magical milestone 200,000! Fingers crossed he can still race having not upgraded to this ABSOLUTELY AWFUL Halloween update … ;)

Finally @oldschool — it’s fair comment not being motivated to race … the game’s availability is garbage most days so I don’t blame you at all for this feeling … I’ll let your choice not to race and my decision not to tease you about it be my gift to you … after all it’s someone’s birthday today :)))) Have a great one!

Regarding mysterious your team player @dbkraemer disappearance, it’s likely a new bug. Our team also had a similar experience with our team player SuperSic, who also suddenly disappeared from our team, but we luckily got him back. The new update don’t stop to surprise us.
