@tomt, Rovio has said the game is open & I’m 99.99% sure I saw an email from someone on the AB Fight Pro FB page that said no decision had been made as to the game. The Daily Challenges are still running with the 5-Gems awarded at the end of 7 days.
@vmicho, I presume their software coding ended Events with the last one & those who write their game codes really are focused on other/newer games. Personally, I believe they have very limited staff & those people are enhancing new games & correcting errors in the new & other games. They’re only human & can’t work on Fight plus the new game like Battle Bay.
I hoped that once Battle Bay took off they’d restart the Fight Events but it’s been 2 weeks. Let’s hope seeing player refund (pressure) from Apple & probably Google restart Fight. I REALLY belive that Rovio forgets or doesn’t realize that people who pay to play aren’t just players, they are consumers who should be protected from unethical business practices. I think shutting down the Monster Pig Event/Raid & Arena (that some people save/hoard Items to use) is an unethical business practice. I’ve read too many people reference the fact they’ve saved purchased Gems & Arena Tickets. I’m going to send Rovio a follow-up to my query two weeks ago, so we’ll see if there’s any clarity. So far from what I’m reading they’ve replied to others I/we still won’t get an actual answer.
Edited to add: I read 1 player on the AB Fight Pro FB page, a 70yr old was so negatively vocal on a Rovio page (warning new players not to spend any money because of the way Rovio has treated Fight & other players,) that they removed her comment(s)/post & she’s not unable to post on that page. I don’t think she’s exaggerating, I believe her.
