  • Mr Bunny likes his with a kiss..
  • I stole the crown!
  • And I’m stuck with the Scary Bunny Halloween
    Forever
    Apparently, as Gravatar ain’t working
    Mr Bunny thinks it’s fits
  • Sexy look @hunnybunny. Shout out to @karen68. Hoot hoot hurrah! Where have you been owly?
  • @catsnbirds, I guess it's starting to get cold in Michigan just now, but you need to take your mittens off to play Angry birds.
  • Listened to the song @ixan57, does he say "I like mine with a gin?" Typical Dean Martin.
  • Yes, little incentive to chase a pup on a level where I have already fluked a massive score.
  • @BrianN Northern Michigan got snow this week, but I haven’t had my mittens on yet here in mid- Michigan. Supposed to be sunny and in the high 50’s low 60’s (Fahrenheit, since the US is too stubborn, or lazy, or obstinate -your choice- to switch to Celsius with most of the rest of the world) for the next few days. Perfect weather for raking leaves.
Actually, mittens wouldn’t have made a difference with that level - no fluke scores for me. Just rinse and repeat frustration!
  • Doh, missed a puppy chance again on the Mighty Hoax level. I started out 2nd at the beginning of the Challenge but following a puppy parade I was 8th by the end of the 24 hours. Feeling peeved at not having joined in the fun, I flung my way back up to 3rd but some hours too late for the pup. That's 3 pups in the last month have got away in unfortunate circumstances - must get my act together.
@catsnbirds, we may be subject to metric temperatures here in the UK but I still convert them effortlessly to imperial. As any fule kno, farenheit is warmer than centigrade (unless it is minus 40 in which case there's no difference).
  • Like @desperateDan I do Fahrenheit in summer, makes it feels hotter, and Celsius in winter, much colder
Us Brits love talking about weather
Anyway, just pissing down with rain here
That’s what you get for living in God’s Own Country
  • For anyone who doesn't think bluestacks has an advantage, check out today's challenge leaderboard.

What goes around comes around @catsnbirds, playing like a man wearing mittens tonight. Interestingly(that means get ready for something boring). Had 3* finishes with 1bird,3bird, 4bird and 5 bird. The highest in each case all have come within 10k of each other. The lowest being the 1birder(225k),the highest being 3birder(235).Though I'm not done for the night.
You still awake at the back?
  • Missed out 2bird. Thought the excitement might be a bit much for one post.
  • Hey @hunnybunny, the weather here too is somewhat inclement.
  • We should have a Nick Caveathon sometime.
    https://youtu.be/d4JAMKCZxss
  • I think that track was a Cavethon in its own right.
    However, rock on to this.

  • When someone is 11k ahead in a level (today's Challenge), a pup does not look promising.
  • Yeah, think meanguy killed this one. Good tune though, just when you thought Nick's forehead couldn't get any bigger!
  • Well clearly it's national coma week. If you think you're so clever name this tune...

Oooohh, ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh!
  • I know I like to gripe about the bluestacks mob occasionally, but hats off to Kaiser, sublime flinging, don't see an advantage with BS on this level. I just hope we don't have a Lance Armstrong doping situation years down the line. Has the Puppytronic 5000 been vetted by admin? Are elves allowed to assist?
  • I hear the former CEO of IKEA has just been elected Prime Minister of Sweden. He's busy assembling his cabinet.
  • Nick Caveathon with Kylie

  • Every time I post it gets half cut off, absolutely fed up of editing
  • Almost never listen to Radio2. Last I heard of Scott Mills he was on Radio 1.

I know why you didn't like that joke. There was no bad language or references to sex in it. And it wasn't funny.
  • Kylie story coming tomorrow
  • @BrianN you saw my Radio 2 comment?
    It just disappeared this end
    Must have inherited @kathy keyboard
  • So has Scott Mills been relegated then? Next thing you know he'll be on Radio Norwich with Alan Partridge.
  • Hi guys! I'm sorry I really don't know what the conversation is about Radio ?
But I have an answer for @V
    BriansN.

  • Another song from the Caveman, another murder. Time for this...

    https://youtu.be/QTKAZ2CjnsE
  • Nice try @kathy, but Bob is definitely singing. Oh oh oh oh oh. Not an oooh in sight.
  • Which British group had 4 number one hits each containing one or more Zs in the title? They had 2 more that didn't although one of those had an X.
  • Zzzz... I'm off to bed.
  • That Birthday Party song, sounds a lot like XTC.
    https://youtu.be/gXNhL4J_S00
  • Quite right @BrianN I clicked the wrong link
    https://youtu.be/_pFZz3OXcMs
  • Not sure @kathy, Zep have the oh oh oh etc, but @brianN wants ooh, ooh, ooh, which suggests something that rhymes with two. Having said all that, I haven't a clue.
  • However, D'yer Mak'er does open up a new quiz - song titles with more than one apostrophe in them, a theme close to my heart.
  • Band that came to mind were Slade. They had the habit of using z instead of s. Cum on feel the noiz. Coz I love you. Mama we're all crazy now. Can't think of a fourth and don't know if they went to no 1.But they had a slew of hits in mid 70's.
If it's not them I'll need a clue.

I'm putting you all out of your misery with the oooh song. It was just meant as a joke then got legs.

    https://youtu.be/IVXUdP45pUs
  • Squeeze Me, Pleeze Me was the fourth and yes, all number ones. The X was Merry Xmas Everybody of course.
  • @DesperateDan About British placenames. . .that’s why "I’m sorry I Haven’t a Clue" is so funny. Along with wonderfully rude jokes!
Try explaining Mornington Crescent to non-Brits! (Actually I had to explain it to my husband!)
    Also "Round the Horne" !

Sure I posted this before: Jeremy and the SatNav lady:

Don’t worry if you don’t get it, you have to be British and old!
  • Well done @brianN couldn't get David Bowie out of my head
  • Thinking ziggy etc
  • Thinking ziggy etc
  • Thanks for clearing up the ooh ohh ohh song @BrianN. I never would have got that! You gotta admit though I was quick to find something with long oh oh.
Annie I'll never get yours , your s either Desperate can !
  • Dan Mornington Crescents ? Is that a food you can eat for breakfast, brunch and dinner! Here it is anyway, one of n my favourite food s!
  • I like that lateral thinking. However, not healthy, Mornington Crescents are stuffed with sugar.
  • I don't think Slade cracked the States. So this, @kathy, is what you were missing.

  • @hunnybunny, since the time change this past weekend, have you noticed an error in the Challenge clock? Since the clock is set to GMT, I thought I'd ask someone across the pond. I'm getting a message from someone that it's behind an hour. but It seems to be fine for me.
  • Hmm, @brianN, I'm not sure why you say that song is for me, most of you lot seem to need it more. No offence, of course.
That was a good last minute puppy parade today, BTW.
  • @sweetp, clock looks wrong to me, implies changeover at 0200 GMT. @hunnybunny will no doubt confirm that Welsh Mean Time is also wrong.
