Below is an actively updated list of Angry Birds bugs, glitches, and issues spanning all version and platforms. We obviously can’t know everything, so many of these are reported and/or updated by the AngryBirdsNest community, so if you notice something out of the ordinary leave a comment below and investigate. Got this on ipad2 it let me play once but now it is showing all games closed padlocks on and big yellow letters “coming soon”. Can’t understand as I got to play and now can’t. Don’t want to delete and reinstall as I will loose all scores on other games.

Loads of bugs fixed with the new update!
Bug 1-Feather Picker works now!
Bug 2-Not sure, I think it’s fixed
Bug 3-Fixed, got loads of achievements after loading the game
Bug 4-No idea, haven’t had this problem
Bug 5-Got the achievement before the update, so I don’t have a clue
Bug 6-Still 1.9M

New bug. Although the achievements earned offline for iOS v1.1 of Space seems to be fixed, either reporting or obtaining the Menu Popper (100 pigs popped in the menus) is still bugged….I had already popped quite a few, but took about 3-4 minutes to deliberately pop 100 straight and played the game for a bit (to allow periodic reporting to take place). Never was obtained.

OK…another bug for Space v1.1 for iOS (possibly others). Was able to obtain feathers on the first two levels of Fry Me To The Moon, but when I go to the top level selection, it only reports 1/10 feathers obtained…I’ll update this if/when I get any other feathers and it is still off or corrects itself.

Are you sure you obtained 100% on both levels.
It might simply be the new feature they added, which can be confusing, read more about it

This update includes a new feature: a feather will stick out from the levels on which you used SE regardless of the percentage destruction. You’ll have a bigger feather for 100% and smaller feathers when below.

Actually, I owe you an apology and a thanks…I swore that the feather was earned, but it was 99%…I retried and got the full feather…I have egg on my face on that one, and thanks for pointing it out….I appreciate it.

I don’t like this new “feature”. Got a feeling Rovio isn’t into using focus groups…That’s two things dealing with Space that probably wouldn’t see the light of day if they had. I doubt this feature would pass as is (I can see it modified somehow and workable though…)

Concerning the AB achievements:

1. Feather Picker is working now.

2. Centripetal Force (for some reason not appearing on this bug list): it’s not bugged any more. Nevertheless we don’t know what exactly Rovio means by a lagrangian point, cos the achievement is earned when you play any level after having updated the game.

3. Pig Bang score addict and Gravitational escape: How will you find out if these bugs have been fixed? Will you play on another device?

4. Pgsicle: it now sais correctly “frozen” instead of “freezed”.

1: Marked as resolved, along with “Offline Achievements”.
2: It was indeed bugged, and I figured out exactly what they mean. I am going to make a new video to demonstrate.
3: I am going to reset my data and give them a try. It will take me a little while to confirm though.
4: Wasn’t too worried about that one ;)

(I could also erase my data and find out myself, but since I have the achievement already, I won’t do it.)

It’s correct that you cannot delete achievements from Game Center, but if you start again and receive them, they should again pop up on the level screen. Or you can play on SC version now instead of HC version. Or a user who just downloaded the game for the first time can confirm.

@heathen Yes, that was on my expanded list before. I’m gonna try to talk to Rovio and see if we are just looking at the wrong menus or something. But it is likely to go on this list.

@chriss I tried and couldn’t get achievements to re-register. Typically when you manually delete the app, it deletes all the achievements as well. At least, that’s what I thought. I think what I may do is grab my girlfriend’s phone, download the app, pay her a dollar, and confirm that my method works. Then I’ll record it even though the achievement doesn’t pop up.

Tough to say. I may reset my game and play quite a few levels. If I can get through say… 40 levels without ever having a score end in 5, I’ll call it fixed. (I don’t want to try to defeat my existing high scores, not that I’m so super amazing, but rather it’s not time-efficient).

Not sure if this is a bug, but I noticed this a long time ago. After the Seasons Wreck the Halls update, I noticed that the Mooncake Festival 3-star egg was automatically unlocked (didn’t have 3 stars in each level). Today, I noticed that the Trick or Treat 3-star golden egg was unlocked (didn’t have 3 stars either). Can’t wait to see what else is unlocked. :) Both were playable. Latest version of ABS (HD) on iPad.

The first one we know about, but shhhhh, it’s good for the user ;)
The second one is related to the “Trick or Treat GE Flip Flop”, which is listed above. The fixing of the bug actually caused the one you mention.

yea, kind of the same thing happened to my Android when I was collecting golden mooncake pieces. after I got all the pieces, the giant mooncake next to also unlocked. I haven’t even 3-starred all those levels (Not sure if b4 or after Wreck The Halls update). and the Trick or Treat Golden Egg and Giant pumpkin switcheroo (happened to me, too)is already on the list, btw

You people have been luck as all can be. Every time I experienced a bug with regards to bonus levels the bonus levels became INACCESSIBLE after having been previously accessible and played several times.

I have a question. I am currently updating and entering all the scores for all the AB games I have played. I am on an iPhone and use Game Center. Does anyone know of a bug that would cause Angry Birds Rio Free and Angry Birds Seasons Free not to show your achievements in Game Center?

Yes I do. It’s an API issue related to the GameCenter upgrade in iOS 5. Since Rovio has not updated this apps since before iOS 5 was released, it has not been fixed, but it should be fixed in the next update.

I think the “Pig Bang” score addict achievement is bugged. I was doing danger zone level 19 when it popped up. I went to look at my score and it was only 1879505.

I have a problem with Angry Birds Space on my iPhone 4 running IOS 5.0.1. On Friday 27th April, on the leaderboard, I was 342 with 8,422,880, but later in the day, I was down to 18,000 or something close with only 7,561,400. Today, I increased my score slightly to 8,428,130 and went back into the 300’s in the morning, but this afternoon, I was down to 19,846 with 7,561,400 – what has happened to my missing 866,730 points? Anyone else encountered this.

Every time I try to use the Eagle, the “Stuck on a tricky level? Lookig for a new challenge? Unleash the Space Eagles” pops up where you HAVE to buy more eagles! No matter what I did – turned on and off my Iphone, got out and back into Angry Birds, etc. I don’t want to buy more eagles but I went ahead and did it anyway. Then it took me to this site where it asked me security questions!
So now the eagles work again, but will this happen again where it forces me to buy something?

I assume you are referring to Space on an iOS device.

You must purchase Eagles in bundles. The security questions you saw are new to iOS’s AppStore about a week ago. If you don’t want to purchase Eagles, you don’t have to, and you can avoid seeing this message by not selecting the Eagle Eye logo.

Yeah, Apple recently added MANDATORY security questions just in case someone tries to get into your account or you forget your password.

To answer your question, you won’t be asked to enter security questions again, only a one-time thing.

On ABO v.2.1.0, I’ve noticed that on the title screen, all of the items you get for beating each chapter have a white line on the side of them. It’s mainly noticable on the balloon for danger above. Has anyone else had this problem?

No, that’s not I’m talking about. It’s a straight line on one side of all of the items except the sombrero. It looks really glitchy though, and it wasn’t there before I updated.

angry birds in space, danger zone level 1. I completed with 3 stars went to start level 2 in danger zone but game doesn’t allow me to open it. I’m i missing something or could this be a bug?

we played rio at all times when we’re free.but the third level haven’t unlock yet after we passed other stages by getting two or three stars.And we already found 7 bananas and 8 pieces of pineapple.HELP!!!!

There are two pages worth of levels in each episodes — making 30 levels a piece. I think you have only passed 15 each, not 30.

I just got the update for the new summer level on OS X (10.7.3), and it now won’t stay in windowed mode after closing. Once I reopen the client it reverts to full screen, no matter which method used to quit (red x, cmd+q, and the in game quit button.) Before it didn’t matter.

Per Rovio: “Go to System preferences -> General -> Untick “Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps”. That should fix it!”

Yep, same for other apps, I believe… Finishing Poached Eggs unlocks all other episodes, finishing the first episode of Trick or Treat unlocks all other episodes. Correct me if I’m wrong…

Not sure if I understand you’re question but if you finish a particular episode than you should see the cut-scenes but only of that specific episode.

I think he is referring to the episodes. I honestly don’t remember if completing the first episode unlocks the rest.
Not a big issue though.

I currently have 79 feathers (used a couple), but have not gained Cosmic Feather nor Feather Picker achievements. I have not puchased any feathers. In fact I will not purchase any additional feathers, think that is a cheap shot on Ravio’s part to make us buy more feathers, pass it on as a complaint.

Did you recently update to 1.1.0? ( Fry me to the Moon )
It included some bug fixes for iphones and achievements.
Do you have 79 Space Eagles or 79 Feathers?

You could try to log off from Game Center, clear your multitask bar, restart your phone and log back in Game Center.
It has helped me in the past.

I played angry birds space and got 3 stars on all levels. A few days ago there was an update with the newest level fry me to the moon. started playing it and at some point left it. since then all results have been reset. now when i start playing no matter how far i go, after i close and open it, all is reset.
