We obviously can’t know everything, so many of these are reported and/or updated by the AngryBirdsNest community, so if you notice something out of the ordinary leave a comment below and investigate. @AMslimfordy I apologize if this isn’t the right forum for this post. This is not about a level “bug” but its something that’s really “bugging” me. Recently I began seeing a pop-up (pop-down actually) that won’t leave me alone. The pop-up shows the ABN logo with the suggestion that I add the icon to my home page. I added it to my home page but it’s still pushing into my windows. I added it a second time. Same thing. How do I get it to go away? Thanks

On iPhone/iPad, you must be (1) in non-private browsing and (2) allowing cookies. Then clicking the X will be saved as your preference until the next time you clear your cache.

Are they still having problems with go green get lucky too? Regarding the unavailability of the last bonus level despite receiving three stars in every level. It’s so frustrating waiting.

Also, on a different note, do you know why they fixed the glitches which created all of the extra points? It put those players at an unfair advantage whom were able to make use of the glitch before it was fixed.

Clearly I’m an angry bird complaining all the time ;)

On some of the different level videos it indicates that the glitch is no longer available because they fixed it so people can no longer get the higher amount of points. I think the Christmas ones in season 2 had the most glitches. For example, on some of the levels you could destroy the whole stage with one bird due to the glitch which resulted in more points. Once the glitch was removed this was no longer possible resulting in less points. So I’m unsure why they would clear up the glitches after many people had a chance to play with the glitch and thus those people have significantly higher scores for those levels. Make sense?

Glitches are supposed to be fixed. You are thinking of the Santa Hat glitch from Seasons Greedings. This was fixed very soon after the episode was released.

Hi,

I have a bug with with Andry Birds Rio on an Ipad Mini. In the menu, I click to get Angry Birds Star Wars, and since then, it keep searching. I can’t get back to the menu and play. Try to shut down, my Ipad, but didn’t change a thing.

I’m not really sure what the bug is that you are referring to.

You can find Angry Birds Star Wars by manually searching the Apple AppStore. That’s probably the fastest way to download the app.

If you are having trouble running Angry Birds Rio, try clearing your multitasking bar (double-tap the Home button, hold down on Rio icon, then click the minus sign to close it once it starts shaking) and restart your device.

I really enjoy playing angry bird’s star war’s. My only issue at the moment with the game is the bird that has the light saber quite working. In order for me to 3 star every level on the deaths star I need this function. Is there a fix for this issue. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

I’m not sure what you mean. The lightsaber is triggered by manually tapping/clicking while Luke is in the air.

I understand that you have to tap the screen for Luke to activate the saber. That is where the problem is. I tap the screen and nothing happens. As of right now all the other birds work just fine. Please advise the best course of action.

Hello.
I have a problem with the Angry Birds Friends application on Facebook. I don’t know why but the graphic of the levels is realy poor. I made a printscreen: http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/4149/99508875.png
It’s poor only when I’m playing a level, the rest is always in a good quality. I have relatively new laptop with a good graphic card so I have no idea what the problem could be. Could you help me, please?

In Seasons first season I have been unable to unlock both Big Present in Greedings and Big Heart in Hogs and Kisses.

I am redoing everything because I lost it all by deleting game because of this reason. Not being able to open.
I’ve tweeted @RovioMobile but their answers were of no help.
Is this a lost cause? Using Ipad 3.

I have downloaded a free version of Angry Birds Space from the app market. I have ICS 4. The app is installed and the icon is visible on the screen, but when I tap on it, absolutely nothing happens.

It could be that your device is not compatible (since you did not include your device, I don’t know). It could be that something went wrong during the install. You could try deleting the app, restarting your device, and reinstalling.

Is there a bug on the sign/log in link please?

Each time I log in I get redirected to either a “sorry page is on vacation to Rio” or more commonly, another members leaderboard page…it has been like this for over a week now.

Hrm, I just tried it and didn’t have any issues.

Next time it happens, can you copy the URL that occurs on the “Rio error page” and, if you can recall, what page you were on prior to attempting to sign in?

Note that, when you chose to sign in, you should be redirected back to that page after completing the login info.

I usually use the ‘log out’ option on the yellow menu bar whilst on my ‘activity/personal’ page, and either log back in using the logged out screen if I have the browser page open, or via a bookmark which I have saved for this exact same logged out screen. In either case, after logging back in, I am being redirected to another members leaderboards, or the Rio vacation page as mentioned. The Rio vacation page has not been evident for a while however, so I will copy the URL when it next appears; I assume paste the URL on this page?

A lot of weird things have been happening with my apps lately and I want to make sure it’s not just me.
1. ABS-Angry Birds Seasons title missing from main menu in game.
2. ABR-App icon disappeared after update. Tried restarting iPad but icon remained blank.

I’m glad to hear it’s a known issue. I lost both the Rio icon & also the ABO (HD) icon when I downloaded the most recent updates. I have ABO in SD on my ipad as well but that icon is still there.

I have lost the icon image on two versions of Angry Birds this week following an update. It only happened on the HD versions on my orginsl iPad which is stuck at ios 5. The game icons on the home page both now appear as plain white squares. Games involved are Rio HD two days ago and now Seasons HD. ( both of these look OK on my iPad mini running iOS 6)

I kid you not. I am at Angry Birds Season 3, Haunted Hogs 2-4, and The Yellow Birds will not go all the way to the stone pile, no matter what angle I fire from, or how far back I pull. They will only fire as far as the second “tower” tower structure.
This has happened to me on other Seasons levels, where weird things happen with the angles, as though the firing length is shortened relative to the target area (or is the target area lengthened?. Sometimes, it feels as though there is no fine discrimination either in trying to shoot at different angles. I have been stymied at each of the levels I encounter the problem. I thought there was something obvious I was missing.
I just finally checked your cheats page and went back and tried it again. It is not me.
I have not seen anything like this on Angry Birds Space or Star Wars.
I use the touch pad on a Mac Book Pro 7,1; Intel Core 2 duo, 2.4 GHz, , OS X 10.8.2. This happened on 10.8.1 as well.

The Yellow Bird has the ability to speed boost. I’m guessing that’s the info tha you are missing. Click while the bird is in-flight to trigger its ability.

Found a bug in the Angry Birds Star Wars HD version for the Android. The problem is that it refuses to connect to the store for me to purchase the falcon or the new light saber level update. All it does is sit and spin and not connect. I have tried this on a Droid Global 2 and I have tried this on a Lovino Tablet/PC combo running Windows 8 and Bluestacks as well as on three different ISP’s and got the same response on every one. I even went and redownloaded the ABSW game and reinstalled it and validated it with my serial, and that didnt work. Is there a link or something that someone knows that I can go directly to the store and purchase these items?

Greetings, all. I just sent Rovio a bug report/request for advice on a problem I’ve just encountered in ABO. I am using HD version 3.1.0 on my iPad. Starting in Mighty Hoax, specifically level 4-2, but also seeing this in 4-4 where I’m currently playing, the Yellow Bird is either not there at all in the line-up at the slingshot, or he is like a flickering ghost, appearing then disappearing. So, in the case of 4-2, only the two blue birds are there, but when it’s Yellow Bird’s turn to take his ride in the slingshot, he’s “there” to fling, but without being able to see him consistently. No problem with Poached Eggs, and I’m only up to level 4-4 on Mighty Hoax. I have the iPod version, fortunately, which I am completely 3-starred on, etc., so I am able to refer to the iPod version to reference how many Yellow Birds should be available in whatever particular level I’m on. When I go to play 4-4, which is nothing but the YB, I have to jump over to the iPod version to see how many I have to work with, because they are just flicking on and off like a light bulb, and never more than one at a time will appear on the screen. Weird, huh?

Slim, I am so ashamed. I had tried the first of those suggestions, but not restarting the iPad til just now. Imagine my embarrassment (and relief!) to see those cute yellow speedfreaks back where they should be. I guess I should power it off every so often, huh?! :)

I haved checked the list in game centre. I have all pics coloured in but it says i have 67 out of 68. But there are only 67 on you list as well. I’m confused as to what number 68 is, thats if it actually exists :-/

Anyone having same problem than me? I played normal angry birds star wars, then I bought path of jedi. I was not be able to play that. And I try push the shopping cart button in start screen. Whole game crashed after that. And now it doesn’t start. When I click icon, screen goes black and then it asks apple id and goes to home screen.

I have deleted game and reinstalled it but nothing helps. I have iPhone 4.

I think there is a bug in Seasons Moon Festival. Recently installed Seasons; haven’t played anything except for the three extra levels in MF (the ones to be liked and unlocked). Strangely after playing the third level it gave me an option to play the “next level” which was the Big Cake. However I exited and saw that the cake was locked. I played the third level again and this time I played the big cake level and 3-starred it. Now I have the big cake unlocked without 3-starring any level! Anyone having this issue or is it just a minor problem? The bug list shows all issues with MF has been resolved so why is this happening?

@sal9 How is he going to get to the multitask bar if his iPad is frozen?

If your iPad is completely frozen and you can’t do anything, hold the power and home buttons together for about 10 seconds. This should force shut-down your iPad.

I had a bug (?) on my Android Tablet 4.0.4 in ABSW, in Tatooine, after 1-4, a scene will happen wherein Red Birds (Luke Skywalker) will obtain a lightsaber but instead of me viewing it, it goes back to the application menu.
Because of this, I am not able to play the other levels of Tatooine.

If you click the bug, you will see additional details. The bug was fixed in ABo Free (v1.3.0), but not Seasons Free.

Hey I got a problem with my angry birds, when im playing on my android the “pause” screen keeps popping up, at first thought i accidentally pushed the pause button, but it also happens when im not touching anything at all. It makes it very hard to play when it pops up every 5 second. I have tried to delete the app and download it again, but the problem wont go away. Any help?

Try running your device in Airplane mode and see if that’s a work-around. Also, you should probably contact Rovio with specifics.

Yes another one of those irritating people who has “never done this before, and Im sorry if I do it wrong”. I just dont know where to look for an honest to God, no BS, answer to my questions. In AB Rio, on Beach Volley (5). Level 11. Angry Birds Rio 5-11. I havent seen too many people with this score, yet I have it, and I cannot win! Currently, on 5-11, I have 107,900. I cannot win because I have never gotten three stars on this board, and I believe that now I have out-pointed myself, meaning there is no way I can win. If anyone knows a way that I can work around this or cheat through it please let me know. As of a few weeks ago I have stopped playing this game because I believe its a lost cause. Does anyone know how to get me past this?? Thank you!

Beach Volley 5-11 is one of the hardest levels in the Angry Birds saga. No doubt about that, and I certainly understand your frustration.

Hopefully, our walkthroughs can help. We have two videos that demonstrate pretty good strategies. There is no “bug” in the level beyond pure difficulty. Best of luck!

@Gracie — I see you play on a Nook, but are thinking of getting another device. Not sure if the Mighty Eagle (ME) is available for Nook, but I believe it is not available for PC or Mac. @AMSlimfordy could answer that.
The Mighty Eagle will allow you to pass levels you can’t complete, as well as let you play for total destruction. So if you can, I would suggest you get the ME on your Nook, or get a device that does allow you to use the ME.The ME can be used on ABO, Searson, and Rio. The Mighty Eagle is available for a one-time purchase for unlimited uses on IOS devices, and maybe some others? It’s been so long since I got the MEs that I forget if you have to pay separately for each game. IOS devices are Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, and other mobile devices. I started playing AB on iPhone, but didn’t like the small screen. I have been very happy with my iPad.

@mvnla2 Am I missing something? The question seems to be unrelated to the Mighty Eagle. My understanding is that Gracie had 107,900 as her score on the level, which is sufficient for 2 stars but not 3.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I have seen the walkthroughs for 5-11, and I’ve watched them until I’m sick to death of them. The one you posted is one of several that I have seen at different sites, but just for the sake of argument I went back through this one that you’ve posted and did it all over again. And again. And again. No dice. I watched the way things in your video were impacted by the birds. How the dirt moved and how the towers fell. My actual game doesn’t look anything at all like your video. The same amount of dirt (sometimes it appears more dirt!) may leave the picture but my trees don’t fall over and my towers remain standing too often. On my very first bird it appears I clear more dirt than you do but my tree doesn’t fall over. If I can’t get that second tree to fall over, there’s no way the first tower is going to fall. I think the way Blu hits is important but there’s a break in the taping, and I can’t see exactly where or how Blu hits. (This is a shame. If you haven’t noticed this and assuming it’s the same for everyone, Blu is launched after the printed explanation is posted saying what you hope will happen. It shows Blu get right above what remains of a tree and then the movement is stopped. When it moves again Blu has already hit, and there’s no way to know how Blu hit or where exactly.) When the yellow bird is launched and the explanation for it is posted, there is a advertisement or a picture in the way and I can only read part of the explanation. Somebody needs to fix that. I’m also working with some strange physics here. I’ve got trees that stay up when there isn’t one grain of dirt to hold them there, and monkeys that remain in the sky long after the structure that once offered protection was destroyed. Obviously, I’ve had these problems on other parts of the game, but never on a board so difficult. (Is there another board this difficult? I am familiar with AB 2-12, but when I finally won that one, I didn’t see what had happened that was any different. I hated 2/12. This one has been different since the word “Go”.)

There was more mentioned between you and @mvnla2 about the bottom line to my question, so what was my question? Actually I think I had several: Is this game a lost cause because I do not believe you can score high enough to win this round based on what I have now? Is there a way out of this? CAN it still be won? I normally would never think of cheating on any game, but on a game which can’t be won legitimately? I wouldn’t bother to play a game that can’t be won, so I feel a little fooled. Still, I’m not sure I’m ready for something like ME. That just seems too much like cheating to me.

You mentioned two videos, but I only received one. My apologies that this is so long, but I wanted to be thorough as well as accurate. Thank you for your reply to this question as well as my prior question.

Duh! I am the idiot. Yes the link you sent me did have two videos, and I watched both of them. You said two videos so I’m looking for two links. Sorry. I was going to watch the one again but I got stuck on your offer to redo the level and send me a link. That would eliminate so many problems with that link, the first one, that I’d love to get away from. Also. I want to look at it again to see how the game plays on a different computer. I’ve got a brand new laptop to go with my NOOK, and I’d love to see that. That’s your call though. Im not seeing the screen too well right now. Crappy weather has most of my area down with colds and flus and I woke up to a headache. I hope the problem those people are having are not in my future. I’m gonna lay down but I’ll check back in a bit. Thank you.

@Gracie — I think I misread your post. Anyway, most people do not consider using the ME to be cheating. I used it many times at the beginning to get past levels I couldn’t complete, and have even used it recently if I am really stuck on a level.

This new discussion on ME has brought a whole new question to my mind, but by asking it I’m liable to offend somebody while being offensive is not my intention. I’ve completed each and every level of AB all on my own with no help from anyone other than the walkthroughs or a piece of verbal advice that somebody might give me in a reply. How many other people can say that and how many have gotten where they are by use of ME? And I mean no offense. It’s a legitimate question, I think. Thanks Much!

@Gracie — Using the ME to complete a level only lets you unlock the next level and proceed through the episode if you are stuck. It does not give you any points, so anyone’s points or position on the leaderboard did not benefit from using the ME. There is also a “separate game” that you can play with the ME, which is to get 100% destruction on each level; this gives you a feather for that level.
What I misunderstood about your original post was that I thought that you could not complete 5-11, and therefore could not proceed through the episode. Slim pointed out that your problem was that you couldn’t get 3*.

Based on the reports we had in December, it sounded like opening Level 5 would prompt the Blue Egg to pan across the screen.
