The new iPhone, iPad, iTouch, Android, and WebOS update for the main version of Angry Birds is out now. For iOS devices v1.5.1 update includes:
- 15 new levels of Ham ‘Em High
- A bug fix for achieving Total Destruction on level 6-4
- The secret Super Bowl Rio level (pictured above)
- The 19th Golden Egg (links to the location)
- Mighty Eagle alert notifications can now be turned off. Amen! Here’s how on the iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Angry Birds > Alerts Off
- A countdown timer for the Migthy Eagle, which tells you how much time is left until you can use him again
- You can now gift the app to friends
- Hopefully it fixes some of the achievement bug.m
For Android and WebOS users the update includes everything above–with these differences:
- 30 levels of Ham ‘Em High!
- You still won’t have access to the Mighty Eagle however.
- A bug fix for the 17th Golden Egg. Finally!
They say that a similar update should be out for Android and WebOS any day. Not to mention, we’re expecting the Angry Birds Seasons Valentine’s update early next week.

The new golden egg is in level 13-10, zoom out, use thw white bird and touch the screen at the right time and it might hit it.
they fixed the bug on 6-4 for the mighty eagle..i just got 100% and i found the golden egg…its on 13-10, you have to zoom out to see it in the top right.

I have the update but can not disable the mighty eagle notifications i went to settings, notifications, but angry birds is not listed, anyone having the same problem???

Yeah, that was expected I believe. They’re working on a way to do micro-transactions on the non-iOS platforms.

Not sure yet. You will ultimately enter a code online to enter a sweepstakes.
Hi everyone. So I found the Super Bowl level on 13-12. I accidentally shot a white bird backwards. The egg that the white bird drops rolled down the back of the mound that the slingshot is on and the bird shot straight up into the air. It all happend kind of quickly. Would like to know if someone can someone confirm this.
If this is true, that is very very cool. I will definitely try. Any chance you can send me a screenshot of the Super Bowl level on the selection menu?

Yeah, it is, but I don’t think it opens until some time today. You’ll need to enter a code, which could be Rio, not sure.

I just went on the golden egg selection menu on my DROID and when i did, I found this random golden egg level that is an accordion. I sent you pics on twitter but you never replied but if you want to see what it looks like let me know. and btw this level isn’t on your website so i was getting curious haha

I’m an Android user and can’t access the update via the market. Any suggestions? When I go to update it under My Apps is says version is 1.4.2 and when I search the market for it Angry Birds or Rovio it doesn’t show up at all.
Have you tried clicking on the “Market” icon, then the menu (the stacked lines next to the home icon), then selecting “My Apps”?
Yes. I can get to it that way but it only comes up with version 1.4.2.
I have the same problem – no 1.5.1 update for me in Android market so I am stuck with 1.4.2.
Does it depend what version of Android firmware you are using? I am still on v1.6 and I’m having problems backing up my stuff before upgrading to 2.1 or 2.2

World 14 hasn’t been released to anybody yet. We are thinking it might drop within the next couple weeks.

I have an iphone and got hooked on this darn angry birds. I have v1.5.3. I have 20 eggs plus a football for a total of 21 eggs. Do I understand in reading through these posts that there are 3 footballs? Are there more golden eggs?

Haha. There are 22 Golden Eggs total, so I think you’re short one. There is only one football egg.
