Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi level J-38 is to fling the first Luke straight ahead, destroying the entire main structure. Fire the second Luke a bit higher, cutting the base of the rightmost tower. The rightmost pig will swing into the TNT, breaking Vader’s concentration and dropping blocks onto the remaining pigs.

While the video is perfect, the commentary should add that it’s important to clear some of the forec-protected blocks (at least the square, diamond and pig in the lower right corner) otherwise after the second shot the swinging pig won’t reach Vader
Thank you. Your tip made all the difference.
Just eked by with a 64,510 3-star using a different strategy: First, let the top-left wheel drop through the force-held blocks by running Luke through the vine. Second, shoot Luke #2 at a relatively low angle so he lands beneath the rightmost wheel — then activate the lightsaber so the whole structure comes tumbling down.
I’m happy with 65.980. Tarzan pig must have cleared space on the floor to. I lost one at lying to high debris. So this a 2nd must to have.
I’m also glad to get whatever 3 star score I could get. That round wheel kept getting in my way and I had to keep resetting, kind of useless, since you can’t really get a very high score anyhow.
I’ve got three stars with a score of 63160, so He threshold is less than the current 64K listed.
So funny, I three starred with a score of exactly 64000. :)
One birder possible. Luke like the second Luke in the Video. Laser under the left Silver Disk, make it fall on the two left pig. Luke fly on the Second Disk and Push the right Tower on the right and the left Tower on the left.
Easy repeatable.
No matter how hard I try I cannot “easily repeat” this strategy :p
However it did help me break 65k with 2 birds, thanks (this eas achieved by the left disc bashing the blocks above Vader and killing uim in the process).
Same here, I used this strat to beat the avg with two birds.
I don’t think this strategy is for j-38. Seems incorrectly attributed (laser, left tower, right tower).
Yes it is. The right tower is the one. With Tarzan pig. The left is the one with the silver disk on the top and the 3 pigs.
Laser equals saber
I tried over 100 times. I was very unsuccessful at the technique. Approximately 3% of the attempt were close to 1-birder. The tall structure on the right would never receive enough damage from the spear for the structure to fall. The small structure on the right fell about 3% if the time.
Perhaps you can elaborate more on the technique.
@traneric i Believe you:) i almost got it..so i can see it is possible..not sure if it makes a difference ( probably not) but which light saber did you have at the time. I’ve only tried this about 10 times and I’ve almost got it twice..first the the pigs under vader didn’t die, second time it was pig on high so i need to go somewhere in between:)
@kathy, I had the Green saber.
Thank you @traneric :) I’ll give it another try on my way back with green saber:) great score!!!
The right most tower never falls for me. It just doesn’t receive the force it needs from the disc. Close but no cigar. : )
Laser is for laser sword. Sorry for my bad English.
Used the ABN video. Found that activating the laser at the very last moment as it goes through the gap produced the most damage to the right structure and also resulted in scores of the 30k+ range. Also activated it early under the green small glass cube and produced results in the 30k range but the debris on the right gets in the way of the swinging pig.
Huge difference!! Thank you @wrw01 :) now to get my green saber and come back to try the other strats geared for it!!!
@kimmiecv You are welcome
I too need to do that with a green saber on these levels. Often wondered if that makes a difference but some say it does and have produced good results.
Exactly!! @wrw01 I’ve flung my heart out on all these SW worlds with my blue saber (love that colour, I’ll be sad to see it go!) and now I’m looking forward to hitting each world and seeing what difference, if any, a green saber will do! Maybe see you again in a few of them!! ;)
First bird drop hanging rock(easier with green lightsaber) and push second rock. All pigs except highest one finished.Get him with second bird.70K possible
I started from 65.980. After come back by classics way and step by step I extend 2B to 68.080 (longer lightsabre, skills). Next inspiring by some post AND score table I little improve @fleshyskeleton method. For now I made it twice with 70.480 (# 15) and later 69.970 (this will give #25). It’s hard but repetable.
1. This is not a problem to collapse L side with hanging cylinder
fall. It’s easy 2. It’s little more of an issue to nicely collapse R side but it’s frequently shows “lively nature signs”. 3. Worst thing is to make point 2 with enough clearence for Tarzan Pig!
By repeting attack at hanging silver barrel by case my Luke went down earlier by hit something and crashed glass shelf with Pig (over 70K). I intensively try to repeat it. I’m not mastered it yet but have some fresh observations:
The problem lies: in arc (play with screen size and starting point), in moment to cut a disc rope (little earlier propably then late) , in change Luke direction after cut (slight bruch a disc by Luke) or by hit small cube (works too but 4 me little worst).
At the moment I have problem to adress redirected Luke to glass shelf again. For now I can crash left nose of glass board OR land further to the right – so big difference. To be continued but it works for nice 2B.
Mayby @traneric will write something MORE about his 1B, please? If someone made it many times for him it’s naturally. The case is in power / staring point, arc etc. I fill it’s possible but not discovered it how (yet ;)?
@traneric could you give a little more specifics as bird-tester suggested i have a lot of faith in your 1 birder but i think my angle and timing are a bit off.ty for the strat:)
@kathy. Send red Bird at the Top of Top Big Square and activate sword just before it to break it and cut the rope of the metal disk. The disk will go down and clear left part. Red bird fly and push the disk on the right side to break both vertical top wood plank and clear right side
I don’t see how this could possibly work. Even if you do get the disc to break the leg, how would Tarzan clear the middle bottom structure? The first shot doesn’t affect it, and falling Red/debris can’t get it out of the way fast enough.
There are (at least) be two basic 2-bird strategies here. The first, shown in the video, is the easy one. Fly Luke#1 through the lower opening in the field of suspended blocks, annihilate the right half of the field with the light saber, crash into the structure below the disc and make it collapse. Fly Luke#2 to near the base of the structure under the Tarzan pig and cut the left leg of the structure with the light saber. Tarzan will swing into Darth and the TNT and almost everything will fall.
As mentioned by @bird-tester, you mustn’t leave a lot of debris lying on the floor. Anything slightly higher than the disks will trip our Tarzan mid-flight. If you have only one damaged wood piece jutting too high, you can remedy that with Luke#2: delay activating the light saber until Luke has bounced off the cliff; this way he reaches the bottom first and can clear some more debris before Tarzan gets there. On the other hand, if the path is already clear, saber as soon as possible so Tarzan gets to the bottom first, minimizing the risk of hitting Luke.
This method always leaves the top disk intact so the score is limited. My average is 66k and my best was 68k. The max is probably around 69-70k.
The second, much more difficult strategy involves dropping the top disk with Luke#1. Fly just under the disk and saber under its left edge, making it fall through the suspended block field. Sometimes is goes to the right, clearing the right part of the field. Sometimes it goes straight down, pushing the large triangular block into Darth and clearing all of the field. Either outcome is fine.
The most difficult part of this strategy is controlling Luke#1’s trajectory after the encounter with the top disk. It needs to hit the structure under the other disk and make it collapse almost completely, just like in the first strategy. There are actually three variations you can try here. You can launch Luke#1 at less than full speed and let it follow its natural path into the structure. Or you can collide with the disk, bounce around the suspended blocks and eventually hit the structure. Or you can touch the disk very very gently, deflecting slightly downwards without losing much speed. The last is the most difficult option but it gave me my best score so far.
The second shot is the same as in the first strategy.
@trinit which strategy did you use to get your present score? Thanks for the tips:)
@trinit followed your second strat. Worked like a charm. Thank you
Little detail: fling Luke against the wheel. The wheel will drop onto the wooden bar below the glass, while Luke is dropping straight down. Second Luke as described by @trinit
Hi @ll
Just to clarify, what @trinit mentioned as his second strategy:
– fling under the disc and don´t touch it
– activate saber before when you are near the discs left side
– let the disc fall down and it will gently touches Luke, giving him the right direction to the right structure
– aim the second Luke a little lower, so it touches the upper slope on the right hill, activating just after hitting. Luke will jump to the left destroying some of the debris on the ground
– swinging pig swings left, hitting the TNT
– one of the birds from the left flies up all the way to the two standing wood debris kicking them right down the slope for some extra points
Outcome still varies a lot from 0 to 69k und up to my personal 72k.
Good luck an dkeep flinging!

similar like @trinit second strat.
here my video:
https://youtu.be/7T3p9vqKOZA
Just want to say that I had the most fun figuring out this level. I like brain teasers and didn’t expect to use a swinging pig to get to Darth Vader at all! I found it out by chance and just had to come check if fellow flingers also enjoyed the level and if Walkthrough was same.
I had the most success with the @trinit variation using less than full power. Here is my aiming point. https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/stocktoad/album/picture/16217/ I made the last aiming dot larger and yellow so you can see where it is. Ideally, Luke will crash through the right structure just below the round disc.
Similar aiming point, but I used full power. The Darth Vader head after the explosion shot to the right and took out the tower with the swinging pig.
Unintentional one-birder. I tried the method described by @trinit as shown in the @comex666 video but with no success. After another failed attempt somehow the rightmost structure was pushed to the right and there was no need for a second bird. Then I looked at the score and added 20k … surprise! Ha, never thought it was that easy! Unfortunately I did not pay enough attention to be able to report what exactly happened. Either the structure was pushed by the bird or (more likely) by the disc which was hit strongly by the bird, probably like the method which @traneric described above.
