Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #1 (Day 1, released on December 31st) Week 3 which began on December 31st, 2012. Our strategy is to send Luke towards the vertical wood plank holding the middle structure, triggering the lightsaber after impact. Debris should fall to the right, clearing the pigs on that side. Loft a second bird so that he lands in the gap in the left structure. Trigger after impact to destroy the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 73,090.
Our Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.
Score 77710
1st shot: Either high arc or half strength shot with lower arc. The goal is to get in the gap between the two big pigs on the left. Right before the crash, click to destroy as much as you can with the saber. The goal is to kill all three pigs and you might even detonate the TNT
2nd shot: Aim straight to the wooden beam on the left supporting the middle construction and click again right before the crash. The goal is to kill all the remaining pigs.
79960
Same way as Nearxos
Still trying for +80000 but haven’t succeeded yet……
If you can get all the pigs on the left side and detonate the tnt you can get up to 25000 with the first shot. the trick is to aim exactly right and use the saber on impact so it takes out the wooden beam just above the tnt.
You need to detonate both tnt’s and on the right side everything has to come crashing down. Not easy but +80000 is possible without power ups.
difficult but possible. Got both tnt’s and have a score of 79.930

power-up strategy:
1. Use Clone Bird then Attach Blaster Droid and Thermal Detonator to clone Luke.
2. Shoot him towards the small wood in the middle structure. Along with his saber and TD, BD everything will come crashing down at the right(the TNT is destroyed)
3. Falling debris often rotates the BD to the left(it does not disappear with the bird)and destroy everything automatically(if not then second bird in a high arc just like the video)
4. 3(or 4) unused birds for extra 30K(or 40K)
I think 96K+ is possible though only with power-ups, I guess.
No power-up strategy. Score is 81,300.

Really impressive Dmitri! My attempts at duplicating it have been less than successful, but really appreciate seeing your video!
Nice shooting!!!
Thanks. Yeah, I myself tried a few dozen times before I got that score :)
very nice…. guess you aren’t attaching the blaster droid on that first shot, lol…. maybe the 2nd? anyhow, good work and thx for making a video
No, I don’t use power-ups in tournament levels. They are so scarce and expensive that I’d rather use them in the normal levels.
Actually, I hate the whole power-up system in AB Star Wars. At the moment, the only real way to get PUs is to buy them (you’re gifted some here and there, but nothing significant) and they give too big a leverage to players who use them. Specially the Clone (as you said in another post, Rovio might as well sell 10,000 points.) So basically, either you buy them and compete for the highest score positions, or you’re in a second, lower category.
Interestingly enough, I think not many people are buying PUs. I’ve got about 150 FB friends who play Star Wars tournaments and usually I’m among the top 20. Since I don’t use PUs, I assume most of them don’t either.
I hope Rovio will come up with another way to make money for Star Wars that doesn’t directly translate to how many points players can achieve in any particular level.
yes, i totally agree with you…. power ups have always seems out-of-place… although if they were free, then i suppose that would be fine… and it’s not so much the cost (although in star wars they seem to have gotton pricier) but the principle… clone bird and santa bomber bird in the winter tourneys are just 10,000 really…. which is fine… and i’m sorta the opposite i guess from you in the fact that i save my power ups for the tournaments because you cant enter your facebook scores on this site for the regular levels, so i figure may as well use them where you can get on the leader board… it be nice if a person could check a box or something on this site for a particular score indicating they didn’t use power ups…. just as a side note…. nothing you have to PROVE (unless maybe if you were in the top few a screenshot would be nice)…. the honor system on this site and the administraters do a fantastic job keeping this thing legit , which is super important for a successful competition — i mean there are bogus scores, but i am assured they do not stay on for long — anyhow, i’m done blab-blab-blabbing… have a good one
I hadn’t noticed we can’t enter regular level scores in ABN. It would be a nice addition, then. And I like the idea of somehow introducing along with the score information whether we used PUs or not.
That said, even if we don’t have here a leaderboard, we still compete with friends in Facebook and the game has it’s own score tables.
84,620 using only the blaster droid…. i suppose i coulda got 10,000 more if i used a clone bird…. i think this was actually my first attempt with a power up tho on this level…. anyhow, i didn’t think my score was anything special until i entered it…. i BELIEVE i aimed the bird very very low (not as low as possible, but use your judgement to pick the spot). You cant control when the blaster starts shooting (i don’t even know if it only shoots 3 times , or if it shoots more). So to me, it made sense not to shoot the bird in a path that the blaster would clear anyhow…. like i said, i barely paid attention, lol…. now i’m very tempted to go back and try with the clone bird (why doesn’t Rovio just make a 10,000 point power up — that’s my view). I must have done it in one bird, but maybe i used a 2nd…. sorry to not have more details, but hopefully i’ll be back with a better score, and a video to supplement it…. good luck everyone
lol, yes! as hoped for and semi-promised…. very next attempt went great, although i didn’t quite get the 10,000 points i wanted (more like 2,000) :)
90 seconds to play the level, 30 minutes to produce the video…. but it was fun.
Anyhow i still think 96,000+ would be possible with the right (lucky) shot… maybe someone can do it…. good luck

sorry, i mean 94,000 would be possible…. added the 10,000 to the wrong score
Nicely played!
Actually, you can get 98,000+ with PUs. In my FB table there’s a lady who has 98,130.
