Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-34 is to toss the first bird just a little above the first planet, sending him around the bottom of the second planet and igniting the TNT. With the Pilots, skip the first planet and send them into the south side of the second planet into the glass structure. Use Luke to clean up the leftovers.

This one was fun, but too repetitive, miss your second shot and you have to start over again.
@werewolf69 — @dasa51 says bottom pig sometimes pops. Have you seen anything? Could really use someone with your patience to check for self-destroying levels in ABSW.
What I’m currently watching: Bottom pig rolls to viewer’s left at beginning. After a while (a couple of minutes, starts oscillating for unknown reasons and rolls back to right. After 5 min, pig has rolled more than 180 deg to right and there are 20 pts; now closer to 125 deg and 30 pts. I really can’t tell what is being damaged, altough a little bit ago there was a small explosion from pigs helmet; now close to 360 deg rotation, 80 pts, one black eye, and almost 10 min. At 10 min, pig popped, score now 5110, was 110 immediately before popping.
Didn’t really see any difference between this and other restarts, except for time I waited. Let it run while i pulled up this page.
These pigs do go to sleep and snore, like those in the infamous DZ-4. Restart immediately after first time I saw pig pop now at almost 360 deg, 80 pts and 10 min — Seems to be a little slower than previous. Popped just after 110 for 5110 pts again.
@mvnla2, I’ve been checking this and some other suspect episodes for self-destruction, and I can say with some degree of certainty that self-destruction prior to taking your first shot is not apparent with Star Wars.
What I have noticed is that perhaps it’s wiser to wait at least 10 seconds before resetting any of these SW games to start over, because I’ve seen results materialize when it seemed as if nothing were going to happen. In other words, after taking your first shot and thinking you missed, count to ten before resetting and you may get a pleasant surprise.
@wherewolf69 Thanks for looking for self-destruction. I added this level to the list of self-destruction, because you can get at least 5K without doing anything.
How long did it take for this bit of self-destruction? I couldn’t replicate it on my iPad.
@TruckDriver — Takes 10 min real clock-time; very repeatable, but it’s best to do something else while you wait.
OK, I finally had it happen. It took 12.5 minutes by my watch. This might be just my impatience talking here, but I’m not sure it’s worth the wait.
I agree — I tried it with the intent of trying to get a higher score, and flubbed the shot. When I was writing the description above, I was doing other things, but it really was 10 min. When I tried it while playing, it sure seemed longer than 10 min. Maybe the length of time varies with the strength of the northern lights in Norway.
@Bird-tester — Do you know about the forum on Self-Destroying and Unstable levels? Seems like you would be a good candidate for looking for and finding them. So far, this is the only level reported for all of ABSW! If you’ve seen any, please report info in forum:
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forum/discussion/873/please-add-to-list-of-self-destroying-and-unstable-levels/p1
I took a different route here. First Luke just along the northern edge of the small planet’s gravity field, timing it so both oink fighters are near each other on the far end. Take out the oink fighters flying by, Luke continues on knocking over the structure and the antenna sets off the TNT killing all of the southern pigs, and in this case most of the northern ones as well. If you don’t get both oink fighters, do not despair (I didn’t on this score). Second bird along same trajectory as Luke, splitting immediately upon entering the gravity field – one takes out the remaining oink and the other takes out the last pig on the platform.
Ok, this strategy is a bit different from those above and I know can generate a one-birder and maybe even break 90K. Instead of flinging the first Luke over the planet, send him under the small planet about mid-way through it’s gravity field. The idea is to have Luke come at the big planet and unleash his saber just after he makes impact with the upper-left most piggy (about 11 O’clock). If all works right Luke’s light saber will take out the two piggies on the platform and one of the oink fighters. The debris from the oink fighter may help remove some of the remaining piggies at the top of the planet. Luke will continue to impact the shelf that extends to the left of the ice/glass structure. His impact will cause the antenna to fall onto the TNT. If all goes well the detonation will send the small boulders on a trajectory that takes out the remaining piggies. If not, use the second bird to remove the remaining pig(s).
I’ve been trying to get a one-birder with this strategy and have been left with a single pig many times, though not always the same pig. When I’ve done it with two birds I’ve achieved 77-79K regularly.
@SuicideSolution — Thanks. Went from ~70K to 78000 with your strat. If you wait so Luke will intersect both oink fighters when they are close to 10 o-clock tower, you can get all 4 pigs at once, and hopefully a few others as Luke continues on.
Used this stat for the first shot that took out the tie fighters and the upper pigs. Then sent the fighter pilots clockwise and split it just inside the stmosphere on the large planet. They went around and one eventually hit the TNT, taking out the 2 lower pigs. For you youngsters who only know digital time, clockwise is basically left to right. JK :))
Great solution! I went from 59k (2*) to 79k (3*) with only 1 try!
I got 2 remaining pigs left, but killed easily by the Pilots using the same trajectory as Luke (split moments before entering gravitation field)
Thanks, @suicidesolution. I’ve not managed a 1-birder, but have scored 80450 with 2 birds by launching the 2nd sourh, just outside/below the gravity field of the smaller planet (slightly down from a level shot) & releasing to split when just inside of the gravity field of the larger planet. After the 1st shot I only had 2 remaining & those reading will have to forgive the fact I don’t know their descriptive names. Despite the fact I’ve been here on ABN for more than 2 years, I’ve only just started to play ABSW. The 2 remaining were the rightmost of the two flying in the air when starting & the pesky helmeted one seated just to the right of the lasers.
I’m working my way thru ABSW & perhaps after I receive the upgraded light sabre I may return to this level to see if it makes a difference in achieving a 1-birder.
I got 83,790 on 1 bird, kind of like what “SuicideSolution” says above. I went under the small planet (instead of above like the video). As Luke is going over the upper left most bird I use the saber on him & hit the bird into the lower oink fighter and explosion debris hit the 2nd oink fighter which the debris hit the glass structure. and the “Thin tower”landed on the TNT and the explosion caused boulders & all pigs were gone on 1 bird. It is probably a 1 in 50 shot but do able. I had OK destruction. A fer more tries it could get closer to 90K. But a 1 birder is possible & I got 83K!
Excellent! I knew it was possible, though I’m thinking it’s an even lower probability as I’ve made that shot more than 50 times and haven’t gotten the 1-birder yet. Is there anything else you can add that you think differentiates your strat from the one I described?
SW DS 2-34, 87810 w/1 Bird !
@Goober – Thanks for both sharing your super strategy and providing us with the motivation to try again, keep ’em coming!
Captured a screenshot that just may help another “shooter” score a 1 Birdie also.. thx
http://i45.tinypic.com/2ldvvnt.png
Alas @marc987 the screenshot you sent isn’t working anymore:( any way you could post it again? Thanks:)
I was able to get the one birdie too for 85740 ;-) All though I did one thing slightly different which seemed to improve my odds.
I sent Luke in under and about half way through the first small planet’s gravity circle as described by @suicidesolution.
Now, wait about 7 seconds before releasing Luke (which seems like eternity in the world of AB’s). The higher, right “oink-fighter” starts heading all the way right and then it starts heading back left. Wait to send Luke until the right oink-fighter is crossing over the left oink-fighter and heading towards the left most pig. Release his sabar so that it takes out the left pig and that oink-fighter. The original “left” oink-fighter will still be close enough for either debris or Luke to get him too. The rest is just “wait and see” and hope that falling debris and the stones from the exploded tnt take out the rest of the piglets ;-) Thanks for the strat ;-)
86340/1
many thx to @goober and @lesleyg for the strat. and details
here my video:

@goober.
Great strategy. One birder. Thanks
Best strategy! Thank you @goober :)
Different strategy.
2 birder. Easy 2 repeat.
First send Luke into upper spheres of the small planet, prior to that you have to wait till both flying pigs get close to rightside. The idea is to use saber and destroy 1 flyer and 2 or 3 helmet pigs. But the most important part is that 1 part of destroyed flyer hits the second one.
Then send blue birds just under the small planet and split soon after they are in big planets grav-field.. they sould fly around in circles detonating TNT and destroy most of the derbis and all pigs.
Got 81k this way
@Kimmiecv i just improved a bit..trying to follow the going under advice..i went under with Luke..timing those darnlaser..shots i yielded saber to deter laser shots into the bottom of planet..took out everything on the bottom
Then sent pinky blues over top split fairly early and finished it off..sorry wasn’t expecting that to work lol..I’ll try again and see if i can be more precise..
O.k @Kimmiecv this is what i got..Skip the little planet all together..time the laser shots..when the thing fires and his second shot comes out, try to skim the edge of small planet without entering go directly toward laser beams and pull saber to divert a couple into planet, should bounce Luke into TNT takin out a, lot!! Then send pinky/blue at the very edge of small planet..as soon as she enters big planet split and should take out the rest..good luck hope this makes sense:)
Ok @Kathy is it a particular strat up above your talking about? I was going to try out the 1 birdie w/screen shot up above, figure if I’m going for above avg might as well pick one of the hardest strats to get it!! LOL ;D
I’ll give it a try, thanks @Kathy :)
Alrighty @Kathy thanks for your help, I’m above avg that’s good enough for our first run through! Onward I go! ;)
Lol @Kimmiecv the funniest thing i looked at @yuriyigolkin video tried it but missed and ended up with the one-birder by, @suicidesolution Yuri always brings luck lol even by mistake:) not the best score but improvement:)
Nice score @Kathy :) haven’t gotten this far yet but I’ll check suicides strat out. :)
Don’t know how I did it but I rocked it with one bird. 85130.
I checked Suicide Solution and next Goober ways. Both is a way to 1B. First strategy give me 77K+. BUT… classics film gives me more. I read so every red laser shoots redirection with lightsabre gives 1K points. I push 2 or 3 of them under the TNT. BUT next I cleared the scene almoust completly. TNT cleared both glass towers -> 81.740 with 2B. I will be back for 1B there.
Very repeatable for three stars. Low points but three stars . First bird, bottom, trajectory slightly above the dynamite, aiming point at about 8 o’clock on the larger atmosphere , launch when the third laser beam is crossing the edge of the atmosphere. get the dynamite with the saber as you pass. go through the tall tower, land in the north buildings. second bird aim North, clipping the atmosphere of the small asteroid , maximize damage when the Flyers are close to the ground troops. third bird for cleanup, aim for the Southern intersection of the 2 atmospheres, take out the laser and the last pig that’s usually remaining. averages 67-71k
Tried a different approach. Sent luke to the very top of the atmosphere of the small planet (line in the blue at the edge of the atmosphere) just as the last of group of three lazer shots exited the screen (full zoom out on android phone). Luke passes the oink fighters – don’t activate him – and then does an eclipse round the planet. As he gets to the path of the lazer beams a group of three should be there. Activate luke and the light sabre deflects two. With luck one will take out the piggy below and one head off and hit the TNT. Luke carries on over the battery and hits the oink fighter/piggy on the ground. Debrief from the TNT hits others.
I’ve not managed to kill all piggys – best was one left (on the ground). But I assume it’s luck at that point (esp with oink fighter bits) and/or where the oink fighters are.
Scored 82,440 using the second bird (same track) to take out two oink fighters. And 3 stars.
Suspect this could result in a 1 bird kill with some tweeking.
