Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star 2 level 6-29 is to fling Han below the left hanging arm, ricocheting laser blasts through both red lights. Simply shoot out the chains to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 170,080.

I sent Han toward the 1st left pig then i fire in the upper left space to destroy the wooden platform and the left board.
Then i let lasers make the job.

I started with a high arc and shooting at the wooden platform and then a second bird to finish, but came no higher than 175k+. This method can give the one birder with a higher score. Thanx @Yor-el

You need a lucky ricochet to sever the chain on the far right and set off the TNT.

First shot similar to video, but instead of shooting at the red light, aim at the metal triangle left of the chain, through the wooden hinge. The platform will slowly fall, while slowly turning, giving the lasers time to blast everything on the ground. Then cut the right chain with the second bird. 178k.

One-birder!

I shot Luke in a medium high trajectory (probably towards the nearest glass blocks). I aimed the lasers at the first large diagonal steel mirror (above the first red light) but in such a way that the three bolts took different paths. Some went up to the steel triangle, bounced to the right and cut the left chain. Some hit the smaller diagonal mirror at the bottom of the bioceramic(?) indestructible support structure, bounced right and took out the two wooden legs. That allowed the apparatus to descend and also twist counterclockwise, shooting everywhere. Finally, one of the shots took a lucky bounce and cut the right side chain too, allowing the thing to fall and finish the destruction.

I had tried various random methods of splitting the bolts (generally aiming at a very near point) until I found a simple systematic method (which worked the first time): aim at a spot on the large mirror directly below the right edge of the small mirror. Time your fire so that the first bolt fires when Luke is above the level of your aim, and the last bolt fires when he’s below the level. This causes the first bolt to bounce slightly right and the last bolt slightly left of the vertical. So one of them misses the small mirror and one of them hits it. (The middle bolt can go either way, it doesn’t matter.)

I finally repeated the lucky sequence of events and improved my score from 186880 to 188920 (and regained the top spot but I know it won’t last). I captured the last screen with the trajectory dimly visible in the background: absw-6-29-188920.jpg .

Details Below. Please note that the relative positions of objects on the screen depend on your resolution and the current zoom and pan of your view. I used a 1920 x 1040 canvas, zoomed out as far as possible.

Launch aim: where the edge of the moon crosses the top edge of the top window.

Launch timing: when the first of the three laser bolts disappears behind the object in front (this was not timed very accurately).

Fire aim: in the middle of the diagonal metal plate on the top of the left side small diagonal indestructible thing (towards 4 o’clock from the middle star).

Fire timing: just before Luke passes the little blue dot in the background.

Two of the laser bolts went towards the legs of the platform; the third one went straight up and cut the left chain between the two metal prisms. Shortly after the platform started to turn counterclockwise, one of the shots from the right side laser hit the front edge of the diagonal metal plate on the bottom of the right side small diagonal indestructible thing (towards 4 o’clock from the right star), ricocheted back into the platform structure and somehow cut the right chain.

Hello @trinit. I’m clear on all of your strategy with exception of where to aim Hans’ fire. I’m not seeing a middle (or right star) at 4 o’clock. Or, is this an alternate of @wicket182‘s strategy, in which the “the diagonal metal plate” that you are firing at is the plate right above the left red light?

Yes, this generally the same strategy. Aim at the diagonal metal plate (the stars only refer to a specific image I posted). You can vary the aim a little (aim closer for more spread between the 3 rays, aim further away for less spread). Sometimes it seems that the plate gets destroyed early and the third ray is not reflected, so plan to hit your targets with the first two rays.

Aimed through the pink dot, fired laser at center of large angle beam above left red light just before horizontal. Two ricochets through the lower vertical wood beams and one up top to break left chain. Floating platform tilted left on the way down and took out left lower side. A ricochet from cannon broke right chain. Platform took out Vader and crashed to center. Score 188,650.

Congrats on the new top score @wicket182 (I knew this day would come)!

I’ve tried to repeat but a late ricochet breaking the right chain seems to be a very rare event. I’ve got a few more one-birders by breaking both chains with the initial shot but they scored “only” 180-183k.

I tried to follow the @trinit strategy but struggled finding the right angle and time of shooting until it suddenly happened just as described: shooting at the diagonal metal plate, one laser through the chain, another to the opposite small mirror to release the whole thing and shortly thereafter the second chain was hit, sending it all down for final destruction. More luck than skills – but I am very happy about the puppy since it is a long time ago when I got the last one;)
