Boss fight! One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Escape to Tatooine level P2-20 is to fling Darth Maul between the two highest platforms. Repeat the shot with Count Dooku, using the boomerang to pop the remaining enemies. When Qui-Gon Jinn appears, blast him with Jango Fett’s rocket! The score in the video below is 126,570.

Can’t buy hats using pearls
That’s quite exactly my way to do a consistently 3 birder. Nonetheless there must be a better strategy for more points.
PS: You did an amazing job with all this (on time) walkthroughs
You are right @wrm39. These walkthroughs are great. And ready before you blink. I usually shoot for average score without aid of these. This level however, was troublesome. I could not shoot a decent score without the walkthroughs. I still can’t figure out where the points between average and higher scores. Is it the bone pile?
@mikeinmont, I’m puzzled by everything to do with this level, except for one thing: the ship looks a lot like Mighty Eagle. I can’t even break 120,000 and my high score came before trying Walkthrough strategy. Any way to explode the ship? You may be spot on regarding bone pile because it has been a source of mega points in previous levels, although this one seems rather smallish in comparison. Aloha.
I have launched everything available at that ship. Even stole a few from other levels. It won’t budge. Still can’t find more points to approach high score. Gave up until I finish rest of levels.
Yes. All you have to do is repeat. :) Practice till you get a decent 70k+ score with the first bird and then continue.
Try to vary the timing of your launch and get laser deflections at the platform(s). And let Jango topple a little earlier into the pile of bones!
There are additional points in the sticks right before the slingshot. Sometimes a platform crashes in or debris flies over. But i really don’t know if it’s happened on my highscore.
Yes this is hard. I kept creeping up until finally reaching 3*. One thing that helped me just make it was I fired Jango Fett relatively low, and fired at Qui-Gon Jinn JUST as Jango cleared the first rock, so his “blast” direction sent him downward into the bones right there. He must be arcing downward in the first place for him to head downward after the shot. Anyhow, the extra bones gave me the little bit I needed to FINALLY make 3*.
At 3* I made 128 (“#8), 123, 117 (sharp :), 117.2, 117.9, 117.3, 117,8, 119, 120, 119.6, 122.8, 118.9, 122.6. Now I can write some observation.
DM – activation of double lightsabre BEFORE bone’s chain! This cases frequently deep fly & cut a chain with Yellow shooting and lot of bonus consequences! There lying also points from backfire.
CD bumernag stick and faling body propably will clean most. CD body goes down and back – chance to crash some bones or woods! If one but not so far Color Wariors survive – you can fly deep at shoot at platform. Few times I hit QG same move! If you are able watch timing between start moment and shoting at the air gun.
If all was clear some last chance points lay at bones. 3rd shoot is Y-type, dont, be so fast. Tap point is not so precise. Possiblity to cut some chain over head of QG.
The chains behind Qui-Gon are indestructible. I’ve tried destroying them, to no avail.
@bird-tester I have very much appreciated your observations for lots of levels, and I have done pretty well figuring out the English translation of your stats. I would like to know, however, if you use an internet translator, or if you are using your own knowledge of English? Anyway…. bumernag stick really struck me as funny. My rudimentary knowledge of French wouldn’t in any way allow me to do as well as you if I had to go in the other direction, so please don’t think I am poking fun at you (using an English idiom that you are probably not familiar with.) I really appreciate your insights.
Of course @stocktoad I use both: my own knowledge of English (best I can & for practice) AND Uncle G translator (not the best in the word). I broke certainly grammatics but who cares. You can write to me priv about what I really wrote (mistery idiom) :).
excluding reward chapters, Only level I didnt get three star. But thanks for the walkthough it helped. :)
A tip for getting a higher score with the three-birder:
When you fire Jango Fett, be sure to send him at a steep angle. This way, when you fire the missile at Qui-Gon Jinn, he will redirect into the pile of bones, explode, and thus do more damage/score more points.
Darth Maul! Set your target on main of left top ship and main ship and Shoot!
When it is near of top bone, destroy it. All the ships should be destroied.
Count Douku! Set your target on some lower from last your target and Shoot!
Destroy all the birds by your Lightsaber.
Destroy “Qui-Gon Jinn” by Biker Scout.
This is how I did P2-20:
1. Fire Maul at the chain holding the bones and platforms together (the higher one). Whip out his lightsaber. If only one of the platforms takes damage, game over. If both are damaged, the Jawas (as they are known) should all be gone.
2. Throw Count Dooku toward the birds on the right. Throw his boomerang lightsaber at the higher of the captain birds. Most or all of them should be killed… Except one inside the ship. He comes out on the ramp!
3. If not all regular birds are killed, finish them with Jango’s rocket.
4. Fire either Jango or the battle droid and aim at the new bird… Qui-Gon Jinn!
By the way, when I fired Darth Maul as in step 1 in my first post on this walkthrough, one of the platforms went to the birds on the right side, killing them all. This is almost impossible. However, you can finish Count Dooku’s former apprentice Qui-Gon Jinn with Qui-Gon’s master himself! Or you can gain some bonus points before finishing off Qui-Gon.
I got my score using Darth Vader and flinging him at the chain between the middle platforms.
Upon further flinging and experimenting, however, a two-porker and 150k+ is possible. Here is a pic showing all the birds being wiped out with one shot:
http://angrybir.de/1nfSNcv
The platforms floated and destructed in a way that cleared all the birds. Therefore, if you can somehow get the floating platforms to also annihilate the bone pile, a 150k is definitely achievable!
I should add my 140,290 was achieved with three porks. Vader triggered the platforms and platforms destroyed the bone pile. Count Dooku to clean up the birds under the Nubian Royal Starship. And Jengo Fett to clear out Qui-Gonn Jinn.
BEST: Traitor Anakin + Count Dooku X 2 to over 137,000 in any good fling. Watch:
http://youtu.be/MmS6kYxPUSw
Fling Anakin Episode III to top-left ship (with top point of flinging), activate power before hitting it. Anakin should NOT hit this ship, just push it. Anakin should fling anything to top-right ship and activate it. that ship and lower ship of it hit themselves, then come to down and squish all bones (anymore destroying bones, more points).
Then fling first Count Dooku to right (some lower than previous flinging), when arrived to a good point, send light-saber and kill all remaining birds (to clearly, watch the video).
Qui-Gon Jinn come out from Big Ship, so fling second Count Dooku like previous flinging, when arrived to good point, send light-saber, kill Qui-Gon, destroy some chains and bones to get more points.
First Count Dooku is free, doesn’t require Character Swap but second requires.
I tested, Darth Vader doesn’t work well on this strategy.
You can replace second Count Dooku with Jango Fett, too. this doesn’t require Character Swap, also works well.
I earned 141,470 points with this strategy.
