One birder for 122K. I like to hit the booster at the top of the space capsule. That sends it spinning towards the big clump of asteroids which bump into the iinfo bomb or whatever its called. The second booster ignites spinning the capsule into the near piggie and then drifting towards the sun. The info bomb sends the other asteriods crashing onto the planet taking out much of the surface. Usually the piggie on the flagstaff is left which I take out by pushing,the other asteroids onto the planet. This time I was lucky and got all asteriods moving with the bomb for a one birder.

Same strat. Don’t know where @birdmeister hit the top booster. I shot past it and redirected back towards the sling. Almost a 1-birder. One pig left (the one directly in front of the sling) I think +130K is possible.

I hit the booster head on. I found that hitting on the side like @zebung was more unreliable, but it looks like it produced a higher score. Congrats Zebung.

I’ve hit that damn thing from every angle that I can think of, but still haven’t gotten a one-birder either! I finally got my score up to average with two birds, only to come back a few hours later and find that average had moved up another couple of thousand! Argh!

@theartist Congratulations, but there are so few players that your score by itself pulled the average up so much that once again I’m below it by about 400! Either I’ve got to go back to the drawing board, or we need to get some more players posting to get the average back down a bit (assuming that they don’t have your kind of score; fortunately, you weren’t able to tell everyone how to recreate it).

Send the laser bird past the top canister. As close as you dare. Let the bird get into the gravity field to be pushed clockwise. At about one o’clock, redirect backwards into the middle of the top canister. This time as close as you dare to the top of the moon landing vehicle.
For reasons I cannot explain, but I am blonde(!), occasionally this sets the canisters and piggies into a slightly different orbit, crashing into the planet. The little pig on the left normally gets killed, but I have yet to kill that skulking one in the flag. If you do I’m sure 140k is possible.

@kathy…lol. I’ll try to be a little less verbose. Shoot as close as possible over the top canister. Direct back to the center of the right end of the same canister. I use a ‘2’ count before I send it back. The major point, you want the bird to bounce down and set off the lower canister (different than my previous strat), pushing the whole thing down and then upwards and into the planet. Destruction on lander a must. GL

I’m a blond also @hunnybunny, :D, but I think I’ve solved the mystery as to why your shot sends the canister and piggies down to the planet. I too shot as close to the top of the canister as possible, but no need to let the bird go that far and bring it back. I wait just until it gets to the edge of Earth in the background then direct it back to the center of the end of the top canister. What causes the canister to go down is the bird then floats downward, tapping the device close to the bottom canister, thus sending it down instead of up. You don’t need to set off the bottom canister, and I think it’s actually better not to, then hope for lots of destruction by the canisters on the moon, especially to the lander. I keep having the pig closest to the sling live, but if he goes too, that might achieve that 140K score!

Mind you, I did follow your advice. I beat two of my top scores by ten points and a hundred and thirty points, respectively. False sense of security on his part, or inadequate flinging on mine?

@mvnla2 you’re more than welcome! It’s always fun to provide top scoring strategies – wish I got to do it more often..lol (although mine was a variation on @hunnybunny ‘s post). She gave me the idea. And it’s nice when you post what got you a high score – then if someone else comes and beats you with your own strategy, well, they just executed it better. :D That’s what the comments section is all about!

I just scored 142,250 points by using the strategies and tips of @waimea & @hunnybunny to earn another puppy. I did, however, send the laser bird just above the canister and about an inch into the gravity field. This let the bird bounce off the canister & into a good position to hit the other canister as it rotated around. The biggest obstacle to a good score seems to be getting enough of a push from the “info-egg” thingy into the large rock cluster so that it pushes the 2-rock pack into the lone bubble pig.
