Angry Birds Space Red Planet Level 5-11 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Red Planet level 5-11 is quite simple. Launch Blue Bird straight ahead, splitting very early. You can wait a few seconds for the Helmet pigs to stop moving up and down.

46k is also three stars. This may be one of those levels where we’ll never know the true threshold (although I will be curious to see if anyone can collect the crystals).

I’ve killed both crystals, but never at the same time. The near one I can only get with rocks and can’t get all the pigs, The far one is the less difficult to get. Split really close to the ‘lip” (little bit sticking up) on the first rock of the lower lava pit and if you get lucky one of the birds will kill the far crystal. If you get really lucky all the pigs die too.

Thanks for the tip @skowse. I’ve been working on this awhile, slowly improving my score. Instead of trying to curve the three birds towards the far crystal, I’ve had some success with aiming just above the first lower lava pit then releasing the birds so the bottom bird bounces off the top right side of the pit and goes straight to the far crystal. Usually the bird doesn’t hit the crystal hard enough to break it and even when it does, there are the floating pigs to worry about. Finally I got everything for 50,270.

I even had a similar shot where the far crystal didn’t break but one of the birds bounced around and slammed into the near crystal.

Tried to do it the way @skowse described (but splitting a bit further, closer to the center of the first bottom lava pit). After lots of attempts got lucky and the near crystal got broken together with all the pigs. The far crystal did not break. It would require a lot of luck to get both crystals broken, but it should be possible.

@skowse — Thanks! Got above average following your strat. Had better luck killing all pigs than getting crystal. Maybe I’m not interpreting what you said correctly? I’ve been splitting as close as I can get to point on lava mount where upslope flattens out. There is also a very small point right next to the lava. Is that what you were referring to?

The place where the point meets the flat part. If you get it right one of the top two blue (or both) kill the far crystal. About one in ten shots I get it right. Killing all the pigs after is just luck …… I’m guessing it took me best part of an hour and I have no intention of doing it again :)

Whew! Couldn’t get an average score for two days. This morning decided to reread the strategy and comments. Tried splitting a little before “the lip” to get the bottom bird to bounce off the flat part of the lava pit to the left of the lip (Ty dark-cloud). I quickly beat average and in less than an hour got all pigs plus the lower crystal. I found it easier to use the bottom bird’s bounce to stir up the rocks in the upper right corner, which sometimes took out the lower crystal.

Bottom line is I should have read the strategy and comments better! Thanks to all for your contributions!

Thanks @skowse for the tips. Aimed just a bit higher than the “lip” but did split just prior to hitting the lava rock. One of the birds did destroy the far left pig and other hit the upper crystals.

Does anyone has screenshot or video how to get 50K?

I have now played this level 3 days without getting all pigs and one crystal.

Me neither. I think this level has two possible highscores with ~47.000 and ~50.000 (+ crystal) while 53.000 (both crystals) seems to be impossible. So once you get a crystal you should be way above average.

I got lucky … 1st try at this level (hadn’t read walk-through & very rarely read before getting 3* on my own.).

Almost as soon as level started, launched slightly down as helmeted pig was low, almost immediately tapped to split & watched as all pigs & lower crystals were destroyed for 50,360. Definitely surprised to find score was #17. Never had a #1 score, but one day ; –

Anyone else pop a bubble on helmeted pig, and have him bounce up and down repeatedly in geyser plume, freezing when he hit the center, and unfreezing once he got in the next plume? My guy did that a half-dozen times before he finally popped.

Me too. I think the reason is that friction makes the pig travel slower and slower, so that it ends up dying when going from one plume to the other.

I am surprised that nobody reported having gotten both crystals in a single shot. This is not that uncommon, although performing in the same time a one-birder is. Except getting two crystals once per hour or once in two hours following the trajectory shown above. Then, patience is the key.

Did the same shot as the @sglouk video numerous times and can’t get even one crystal with it. I need to use a slightly reduced power shot so that two blues hit the right side crystal to get even that one. Getting both??????? Not likely for me.

Maybe give it a go later on BlueStacks but the sun is shining here in England, the BBQ awaits. The 🍷doesn’t
