Red Planet bonus level S-13 is unlocked by 3-starring levels 5-21 through 5-30 of Red Planet. One strategy to complete this level is to send the first Space Egg towards the steam geyser, and land next to the helmet pig sitting on the black rocks. Flying debris should detonate both tnts and clear most of the level. Use the second Space Egg to destroy the remaning pigs on the left planet. Finally, quickly launch the last Egg for extra points through the southern hemisphere. It should land on the right side of the main stone structure.

Can be done with just one egg – just aim for the stone pyramid on the first planet, all debris scattered and took out all pigs to give 148,610
Similar strategy with 1 egg, but aimed a little higher, egg went to helmeted pig, but not quite as high a score (141K)
@mvnla2, I have more than 3.7million points in RP, but Score Addict isn’t listed in GC. I know that you have iOS 4.3.3 and that we have problems with BP achievements, coul’d this be something similar?
I have the score addict for episode 5. You have to be connected to internet and GC to get it. I have had several messages this week saying “Can’t connect to GC,” even though my internet connection is fine. You might try making sure you are logged in to GC, and replay (and beat) a level in RP. Might help if you got a higher score??? If you still have problems, report in forum on bugs.
@cosmo2503 I had the same problem, but I restarted the game and then beat a level and got the score addict achievement. I’m sure you’ve found this out already, but in case anyone else has this problem, it is easily fixed.
@mvnla2, so connection to GC seems to be global theese days, I thought it’s problem with my operator, I am allways connected to Internet via 3G. Anyway, yesterday it showed in achievement list.
@leelee0927, now it is listed, I am glad this is not a bug like the Bad Piggies case.
I also had to do the same – have 3.8M points on RP but the Score Addict achievement did not register on ABS or GC. Had to revisit 5-1, finish the level & then it popped up!!
even if u finish with one egg, use another one, it leads to more points
One egg, just tipped over the edge of block pyramid and drew the stones to the other structure…chain reaction that destroyed most everything. Very satisfying.
The 1 egg shot worked for me as well @magsy79. It happened so fast but I did see at least one crystal remained, the one on the first planet.
3 birds
1st bird to stone pyramid. Must scratch crystal and slow down. Then it will gently roll over the top and implode when it reaches 2nd step on the south(right) side of pyramid. (Score should be 120k-130k)
2nd bird (very important must be shot while there is still one pig alive or the game will timeout before you finish, so hurry there is no time to aim or check the score) shoot around south of 1st planet and implode on whats left on the right planet.(adds 10-15k)
3rd bird on what is left of black rocks on the middle planetoid. (adds another 10-15k)
In a perfect world you can make 160k with this.
Another nice strat that helped me increase in pointage.
This level does end crazy early though – it may be better to leave a pig alive so you’re guaranteed that second shot. I got my current score with two eggs – three may pay off – if the level doesn’t end first…
This is egg-xactly how how I got my score of 152710! I had the pigs in the bubble on the string remaining so that helped to get the second shot in. I noticed too many black pebbles left on the middle little planet so I quickly threw the third bird at the left over black pebbles.
I also got over 151K by reversing the second and third shot. This works well too so that you make sure you have enough time to get those pebbles. A pig remained on the right so I knew it wouldn’t time out, all though it still cuts off before everything finished calculating.
A frustrating but fun level ;-)
@happyshake thanks. Really, on the first try I could get 158K with it. Happens very rarely to me
Thanks @happyshake, great strat. I had the most trouble with the 3rd shot to the middle, trying to maximize the points from it. Sometimes there aren’t many rocks left to do damage with, & sometimes I’m just trying to fling it so fast without getting distracted by what’s happening on the screen, I mess up the shot.
Still, improved to 158k, even though I missed one of the crystals.
@karen68 I saw your name at the top of the challenge board and I couldn’t resist flinging a few more.
I do have one hint for this level. As is often the case when there are levels with the black stones, they are very important to high scores. With the third shot, just destroying them by getting an egg in the middle of them and activating doesn’t give anywhere near the points you get if you stay a little farther away and they get banged around with each other and into other things.
@stocktoad ha ha nice score!
That’s what I’ve been doing, trying to activate the egg just before hitting the stones, trying to get them to spray out a bit, & I usually have a crystal or 2 remaining that I’d like them to hit. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. But I’ve never really got the hang of these space eggs, I tend to cross my fingers a lot.
As cute as your avatar is, I thought I might see a brief return of the red Maple Leaf to go with your awesome score :D
@karen68 I thought about the red Maple Leaf……..but I had just put up the new “Sticky Wicket” so, probably next time.
@karen68 @lesleyg How are you able to keep a pig alive? My level keeps timing out after my first egg flung following @happyshake strategy:( Helppp …Whhinne
@kathy I don’t think there’s any way to deliberately leave a pig alive, it’s all a matter of luck. I just replayed this for a bit & the pig in the middle survived a couple of times only.
The best thing is to master the aim on each shot so you can fling as fast as you can – I use the stars in the background. As soon as the egg activates let the next egg fly. I can get all 3 shots in like this, although the aim isn’t always perfect. Sorry I can’t offer any better suggestion than that.
Since it’s Tuesday here’s a wwhhiiiinee for you… good luck! :)
Thanks @karen68 I’ve never been good at directing the eggs so is hard to be quick but I’ll keep at it lol you know me!
Thank for the Whhinne :)
Hi @Kathy ;-) Sorry for my late reply. I just saw your “whhiinneee” for help, lol ;-) I have been playing this level now for over a half an hour to see what tips I can provide but as @karen68 said…it’s mostly luck and it’s been quite some time since I’ve played these Space levels so I’m afraid, I’m completely out of practice! I had to play it LOTS of times just to remember and get the hang of it.
O.k. with that said I will try and add some tips that may help. Here’s a screenshot of the first bird trajectory:
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/12424/
However, as noted above…There’s really no time and the outcome obviously varies. It is the basic trajectory you need to go for. As mentioned above, you want to try and hit the very top of the crystal or tippy-top of pyramid to slow it down so it rolls over the top of the pyramid and explodes near the second step.
Then don’t wait to see the outcome…It’s ideal if you have a piggy left but there’s really no way to control it. Several times the top set of three pigs survived which worked well for me.
Send the second bird South like the third shot in the video walkthrough…As if you are aiming for the bottom geyser.
Again as quickly as you can…send the third “eggy” in with about the same trajectory as the first and tap it a second before it reaches the stones.
That’s the best I can do for now with out playing a gazillion times and getting a better feel for it, lol ;-)))My highest score tonight was 154K something. It’s just a matter of flinging in the basic direction and hoping for the best…Typical, right! GL my friend!!!
I must disagree with @happyshake. In a “Perfect World” you can make 170k+ with this strategy. I scored 164k+ while flubbing the third shot. As you stated, speed is the key, no time to think and very little to aim. Don’t look at the score because you’ve probably wasted an important nanosecond. My mistake was noticing the score after the second shot. I was already loaded for the third shot. My brain couldn’t function fast enough, let the shot go at a large pile of boulders or keep the 160k+ score. I got anxious after I couldn’t stop the shot snd detonated too early. I watched in horror as a large quantity of boulders went into the void of spaaacceee.
In answer to the obvious question, I didn’t do anything different on the second shot. This was the “only” time I got this much action. Normally I’m trying to score a 160k. Until today I also thought 160k+ was the top score attainable.
Hopefully this will inspire or challenge flingers to give this level another look. Good luck to all and to all a good night.
!!! Great “stRATegy” !!!
I write this as a new strat, although it is heavily inspired from @happyshake ‘s one:
I simply propose to swap Happyshake’s 1st and 3rd shots. The reason is that most often, the pig that stands on the slope of the pyramid survives to the first two shots, so that you almost always have plenty of time to carefully aim for all your shots. The now first shot is therefore slightly modified wrt to what you do usually when it is the last one since you must send black rocks to the right (so as to ignite the TNT), but you can clear perfectly the central part of the level.
This morning, it took me 30 minutes to increase my previous highscore following Happyshake’s strat, and only 5 for another (modest) increase of it by swapping the shots. Therefore, I am tempted to think that as long as your goal lies within the 155k range, this strat is faster. However, I cannot (yet?) say whether it is helpful to go above 160k.
@Sglouk Nice variation on the strategy.! Anything that gives more time is a great thing on this level. I haven’t matched my 158k score with this variation yet, but I’m getting closer than I was with the other strats. I think 160k+ is very possible with it, I just need some luck and to find the right micro-aiming/timing that’ll keep debris hitting debris, instead of flying off into space. :)
