Danger Zone level 30 is a bit challenging, but our strategy works pretty well. Send the Lazer bird just outside of the gravitational field of the bottom planet. As it drifts off screen, redirect it back into the stone planks in front of the far-right pig. The bird should both pop that pig and ricochet into the TNT on the left. After the smoke has cleared, send a Lazer bird just over the tower of the top-right planet, then redirect into the TNT. A word of caution: Be very mindful of debris on this level, as it can truly ruin the second shot. The score in the video below is 117,730.
Today, we pay hommage to @rat9 who passed away recently. Anybody having played Angry Birds Space had stumbled at least once upon one of his famous, although often difficult ratstRAT. I know 125k is possible but rare with my strategy, 121k more often, 115 is my best so far. I shot the first bird below the bottom force field and shot to the wooden blocks under the right pig. Gets the right pig and goes through to the tnt knocking over the tower. Then the second pig goes to the bottom edge of the force field, goes around and you shoot it straight at the TNT (or go through the right pig into the TNT, either is usually fine), 10k bonus for the remaining bird.
Hi. Slim Again this Game has a lot bugs . I bought this episode for .99 cents . !! and the achievement does not come to my progress on my game center achievements. Do you know how many players of this game have the same problem. I read the other day at list couple people did it and not got the achievement. IO already contact ‘ Rovio ” to tell them about many bugs and problems . My iPod touch 4G but IOS updated 5.1 still ‘ ” Crash ” . I know so many people have this problem . Concerns is About When come in up , an update;What do you know about this Matters .!!!
I have it. Have you tried restarting your device? You could also wait a little while, achievements sometimes register a moment after achieved.
Mine are registering as usual … actually too soon for some, but that’s not a bug more of a typo.

As per your crashing issue, try clearing your multitasking bar and restarting your device.

it would be crazy,the last level of cold cuts took me about 8 tries the last level of DZ took me 13
this planet is separate from the storyline, therefore, no boss.

Slim, I finished all levels of all of the Space episodes with three stars.
But after finishing Danger Zone a few minutes back, a popup came up congratulating me on finishing, then said to try to get Three Golden Stars on all levels.
I have three stars all around in AB Space!
Do you have any idea of what that popup means?
It’s per-episode. Usually you receive one prompt for passing all levels of an episode and encouraging you to finish with 3-stars; and a separate prompt congratulating you for 3-starring an episode.
OK, (I guess), I didn’t get the separate prompt with the congratulation for 3 starring. I thought maybe it was referring to the SAmsung Golden Egg level that other device don’t get.

I’ll take the luck…but…131280 with 2 birds…first shot, around bottom moon…and not directly into to TNT but into the long concrete piece resting on two glass blocks…that shot into the TNT…got all the pigs but the top. Next was similar to vid…except instead of going past and coming down onto the tnt…come down through the tower to the TNT…that was where the points really came from, it cleared that entire moon! less than 30k for score addict…back to it!
You know, I almost had that shot, until a piece of debris got stuck in the slingshot and messed up my second shot. Hate it when that happens. Great strat, and am going to keep trying!
Oh, and I don’t necessarily think it’s luck. If you hit it just right. That pig on the right is killed by debris. Tough shot, but very nice score & strat. Thanks.
My strat: just inside grav field of lower moon, redirect on the single floating pig in bubble. The bird will very repeatably continue on and bounce on the right moon, and take out the TNT on that moon. Next shot same trajectory, but redirect on the left TNT (through the helmeted pig but this is not always necessary, since the explosion with take him most of the time anyway).
These two shots can be done in any order, both are about equally difficult.
And got all 3 stars on DZ! Whew! Was a long ride to getting all those stars.
I also got my 3-Star in a different way though it still get you 116k or so.
1st L/b- Above and between the square wooden block and horizontal stone block, so that it hits the TNT from above and directly to it but above it. This should by luck clear most of the Piggies except for the small bubble-wrapped pig.
2nd L/b- Through the small bubbled piggie and it will hit the planet and bounce to the TNT to kill all those Piggies!
DZ does live up to it’s name eh?
Yes… Found this first shot to be the best and easiest wat to go. Zoom in. Shoot lazer straight up and aim just to the left of the closest hollow wooden square box… 1 birder very possible, though not necessarily the best way to high score.
Bird 2, different… Shoot up, to left of tower by far TNT, aim at top of tower, tower falls on TNT.
Two very easy shots.
I did this look and got a one-birder! But alas, only 115 k
@loox I had been trying this method before watching this video and thought I’d give it another go, since I hadn’t been able to get above 119k with the video method.
Finally got 123k with one bird and it was just enough to squeak by for Danger Addict!
I did notice-through many, many, many attempts- that there was a better chance of detonating the tnt if the lazer bird comes down at an angle and hits just to the left of the hollow box, rather than straight over. It has more momentum when it hits the structure and the tnt explodes more often.

just got 127500 with one bird, using the method @loox described. Shot first bird straight up and sent it into the space just below the lower hollow wooden box. It’s a small area, but if you can hit it just right, you can destroy the left side, pig on lower left and sometimes the debris will take out the right side also. The downward angle is not very steep, maybe 5 degrees, but it gives enough power to the bird to detonate the tnt and send the debris flying.
Got 123k with this strategy, used 2 birds. Thanks! :)
Thanks to this strategy one birder fetched me 123k . Guess a bit more is possible with little bit of luck if debris fall accordingly.
I got 117k without doing that difficult carom on that first shot. Instead, I used the pull on the bottom moon and redirected the 1st bird directly into TNT on the X structure. The pig on the bottom left should get hit by debris. I sent 2nd bird as in video, getting that pig and sending material into the right moon. Finally I sent 3rd pig up and around the tower into the TNT (or into the tower top if nothing is in the way).
It’s hard to done first shot like the video, but at last I done it with some tries. Thank you AMslimfordy for helping me get 90 stars in this Danger Zone and all my other 3 stars.

I’m with you on that sunshine! Finally three starred all of DZ today – working towards score addict now! A mere 93000 to go! Time to go back to the beginning and work through them all again getting average, and then hopefully won’t be too far from Score Addict! However, I doubt I’d have a chance if it wasn’t for the good people of this forum. I managed 81 stars on my own, but ABN is so useful for filling in those gaps, and providing alternate strategies that get the top scores!
As for your father, he sounds like he was a really great guy, you must really miss him. As far as I’m concerned, anyone who does extra physics for fun is just awesome :)

Finally managed it – and took 2nd !!!
This was difficult, because every time I got the first shot correct (which is no mean feat) there would be a bit of rubble skulking around the sling-shot making any 2nd shot impossible.
I just came back to this level to take a shot at improving my score from 127K (there is SO much debris!) and took the top score. First shot similar to video but like others here I then hit the long stone plank into the TNT, it hit almost perfectly perpendicular to the top of the TNT and so it was ejected almost directly backward into what remained of the right most structure sending it into the planet. Second shot into the top planet structure tipping it right into the TNT and a lot more destruction
Pretty easy 3-bird strategy to get three stars:
Bird #1 – aim to 1 o’clock, just as the bird gets to the top of the screen tap/target the 80% up the top of the tower on the rightmost moon.
This is a pretty easy shot with good margin for error. You want the small stone to roll down and trigger the TNT. Don’t worry if you don’t get the helmet pig, the next bird will. 35k+ is good for this.
Bird #2 – aim to ~4 o’clock (just inside the gravity field of the lowest moon). Let the bird circle around the moon and just as it’s approaching vertical tap/target the leftmost TNT.
This is the toughest of the three shots but still not that hard. This should take out all but the rightmost bubble pig. 105+ total at this point is good.
Bird #3 – aim as in bird #1 in the walkthrough video (~5 o’clock, as the bird gets to the bottom of the screen tap/target platform under the rightmost bubble pig to push him and as much debris as possible into the planet above).
This strategy eliminates the difficult bird #1 deflection necessary in the walkthrough video. Total score usually is ~119k.
This strategy is impossible to perform on the I phone app, is there another walkthrough which gets me the three stars?

Although I did most of it on my own I must admit a few had me stumped and needed help to get above average on some levels so THANK YOU ALL!!! YOU ROCK!!!

THIS IS REALLY STRANGE! You guys know that on Danger Zone, level’s numbering are written on mines, and there are so many mines (that sadly, unexplosive when clicked) spread throughout the DZ level selection screen, and the DZ planet is a gigantic, monstrous, brain-frying mine itself! But, why I don’t see any mines on any DZ levels (except in the background) ? Is it a bug?

Because the mines are in the background. :) What would the mines do if they were in the levels anyways? Would they stop your bird or act as TNT…

It is possible to do this with 3 shots & get 118k+. Shot one knock out the single pig on the tower with extending arm. Shot 2 aim in the the small planet so it travels around then fire at the explosive on the space station. Important to wait until all the debris fall away then fire at the last tower through the debris and aim at the weakened bit which will then fall over
Finally 3* in all levels with 124700 in this level. Very similar to video.
Now for the score addict achievement.
Again a lot of post to read through, so my apologies if some one already mentioned this.
I shot the first bird like the video on top, but the second and third I needed to take out the pigs on the top planet. I know this can be done in one go, but I glad I finished this journey, but I did get a score of 128180 using these 3 birds :)

No that’s not true. You must find hidden Eggsteroids in-game to unlock the levels. Refer to our Complete Eggsteroids Guide if you need help.

Can somebody please help me with the score addict achievement? I’ve been trying all day and I’m still about 30K short
@byunghun the best thing to do is to go to the leaderboards and see where your scores are lower than average. If you take them one at a time, you will get there. I just got the badge yesterday and sometimes I only increased a few hundred points on a level. It all adds up :). Good luck and don’t forget to check the walkthroughs and ask for help, if you need it. There are many people here who like to help.
I just got the badge today and my suggestion is to grind away at levels you’re good at. Some levels are just really difficult to me and when I tried to improve on them I just got frustrated. So, I found a few levels that really felt good and just did what I could to make the most of those levels in terms of high scores.
Looks like you could make up about half the difference just by working up to ABN average on the few levels where you are below. After that, pick a couple of the levels where you have a lot of room between your score and the high score, then watch several different videos (walkthrough, E-Star, youtube, etc.) to get ideas for where they are getting their points and go at them again. This can be done, but it is by no means a quick or easy process.

I have a Bill story for you.
So there I was… on my bed… playing ABSp, finishing up my DZ project. I got to this level, and it took me about 50 tries to get that carom right. I know it can be done differently, but this seems to be the high score method. Blast you wooden block that’s right beside the TNT box! So I finally got it, and I knew it was going to be a big score, like 130k+ no doubt. But what happens just before the level ends? The game just exited me out back to the iPad home screen for no reason! What happened? Anyway, so I play it again another 5,000 times to get that carom right, which I finally did, and finally got the level to finish, but just at the 3-star threshold, right on the money! Thanks DZ, it’s been a pleasure, and it will be a while before I make it back to improve.
when I try to do this level the way recommended, the first bird does it thing and them my other 2 birds just sit at the slingshot and them blow up, if I do the level another way they do fine, but I can’t get enough points for 3 stars any other way, whats up with that, any ideas????

I just finished playing this level for a little more than an hour and scored two 134+’s, a 136+, and the top score of 138880. That’s four top ten scores for this tough level almost back to back. I mention this not to brag, but to lend creedence to a slight change in stragety. All methods I read about say shoot the corum (combination bank) shot first followed by a clean-up shot on the tower on upper right planet. This second shot is hard to accomplish and results in a maximum of around 32K. Here’s the tip. Shoot the clean-up shot first. I’ve gotten as high as 139.5K, with an average of 136K. Since this is not duplcating points you’ll get on the corum shot it will improve your end score. Plus, if you don’t get a good score, shoot again. Nothing more frustrating than spending hours to accomplish good corum shot score, only to miss second shot because of those two little ice blocks. DZ-Addicts know which blocks I’m refering to.
1. The first shot is easy. Aim L-b half strenght at upper left corner of large X structure. Just as you clear it, shoot upper third of tower on upper right planet. You can accomplish this shot at full speed, but it’s easier and for some reason scores consistantly higher at half speed.
2. This shot is extemely difficult, but occasionally repeatable. Shoot L-b just outside gravity field of lower planet, just as it goes off screen tap lower right structure for a glancing blow into the concrete slab which hits the TNT. Consistency is key to finding a sweet spot that works for you. i.e. same power, same distance off gravity field, same distance before tapping concrete slab, same spot on concrete slab. Once you combine these four elements and have your sweet spot, it’s still a tough shot.
This is not a three star strategy, it is for D-Z Addicts only. Good Luck
I don’t know if this is important. When I said let L-b just barely go off screen I should have mentioned I play on an I-Pad3. From reading posts I gather that you see more or less play field depending on which device you use.
Also must have screen fully expanded. Sorry for any confusion caused
by leaving out that small detail.
Error in first shot scores. Should read 39.5K and 36K, not 139.5 and 136. Also duplicates score for 1 pig. Still, it allows you to maximize your score prior to the extremely difficult shot.
@rat9 used it to get an extra 2k. 128k => 130k
This mean the switching of birds.
The corum shot I use is a deflection of the left side of the lower left concrete plank on the rightmost boomeranglike structure. Which part do you hit? I did have a 127k 3birder so was wondering how to squeeze in the extra points. 138k is high but surely doable seeing all the debris flying.
I usually just get a tempo of shooting the birds. Aim, shoot, 1 2, speed up, aim shoot, 1 2 3 4, speed up, watch the blast. I noticed to get distracted by watching the amount of damage on 1st bird. The 2nd bird gets it’s speed up earlier than the damage stops on 1st bird.
The 128k was with the opposite order of shooting. The 2nd bird was shot and speeded up before the tnt of corum goes of because of the tempo. So no debris in the way or anything.
Way to go. I hit the center of the same concrete plank. One additional tip just for you, HaHa. The further you let the L-b go off the screen, the easier the corum shot. However, the further you go off, the lower the collateral damage score. Keep it tight at the edge for the really high scores.

Once I got my shots down, it came pretty easy to me. This is a fun strategy to work around with and it improved my score by 11k points in about 15 minutes! Thanks so much for the great strategy!
Your welcome. You must let the second shot just clear the screen. If it stays on at the edge of the screen and you get the perfect corum shot, the slab doesn’t have enough momentum to blow the TNT. Very frustrating to watch that slab touch that TNT in the sweet spot and sit there. Keep at it,an additional 10K is fairly easy once you know what your doing. Good Luck (skill) LOL.
Excellent strategy. I probably lack your finesse to get the most out of the second shot, but I wonder if my change to your first shot can add to the total score…
Instead of shooting the tower directly, I clip the very tip of the NE crossarm along the way. This sends the entire NE crossarm into the gravity field for a score of (well) over 50.000 after shot 1.
If the NE crossarm would end up in a gravity field after a perfectly executed shot 2 anyway, I suppose my chance makes no difference to the score. And in that case, your original strategy is much simpler.
@burpie Don’t know. Interesting twist that makes for two difficult shots linked together. Your going to cost me some sleep trying to figure this one out.
Thanks for the tips @rat and @burpie ;-) I used full power and used burpie’s first bird strat to clip the NE tip of the crossarm along the way. LB loses some speed but still has enough power to tip over the top right structure. Scores are easily 52K to 54K but I’ve had as high as 57K after this shot. Second bird same as Rat but maybe slightly more outside the gravity field…about the width of the bird. As soon as he goes off screen, I aimed for about the middle of that bottom plank as described above. On my highest score of 134530, I missed the other metal plank slamming into the tnt but the LB hit it dead on. I hope some of these tips can help others. I improved 12K so far ;-)
@rat9 Thanks for posting this strategy. While I have yet to pull off the second shot as suggested (making the plank hit the TNT) the first shot description helped me raise my score by 10k !!!!!
Great strategy increased my score by 7k and made into top fifty, now to see if I can do better, thx.
@rat9 thank you for the great explanation. Getting the lazer bird to knock the plank into the TNT is really trick to do, but I have managed it several times. My problem is the helmet pig on the lower left – every time the plank sets off the TNT he is left sitting there. If the lazer bird hits the TNT I’ve noticed it’s actually that plank that gets that pig, so I guess it takes some lucky debris to move down to take him out? I’ve had enough destruction to have a couple of 140k+ scores except for that pig.
Got 134k using the the 3rd bird on the helmet swine.
@karen68 Your right there. If you hit the plank just so, while holding your tongue just right, the piggy will die. Sounds like your well on your way to first place. I wish you all the best.
@rat9 ha ha so if I have to hold my tongue just right I guess I’d better cross as many fingers & toes as possible too. I’ve seen a couple of the small glass/ice squares nudge that dastardly pig but not hard enough to push him over. Thank you for the encouragement :)
Great Strategy, I am sure @rat9, Only thing is, with this level zoomed all the way out on my little iPhone screen, my fingertip is bigger than any of the planets, much less one single plank that I am trying to hit the middle of. Every once and a while I can luck into the two bird solution, but more often than not, I need a third shot to get the TNT to blow up the big ship. 127k with three birds so far still looking for that elusive high scoring two birder. I think this is the level that had me considering a stylus at one time…
@rat9 Ty for the strat! i pretty much got it down, second shot is tricky no doubt! But i feel like I’m getting ripped off my left over bird! The level times out so quickly i still have debris falling and a bird in the sling which i don’t think is being counted:( Whhinne
