Our strategy for Danger Zone level 20 is to send the Blue bird around the southern hemisphere of the left planet, splitting when it finishes the loop. Repeat the shot with the Lazer bird, but redirect through the bridge above. Debris will trigger the TNT and potentially both icy asteroids. The score in the video below is 91,040.

I tried a slightly different method. I launched the blue bird around the northern hemisphere as close to the first planet as possible. Split them right before they changed gravity fields taking out the bottom structure. I sent the laser bird up just past the planet on the top left and redirected him through the structure on top. This took out pretty much everything else.
The easiest and most repeatable strategy I found was to clear the south tower with the first bird, then loop the laser bird north of the left planet and south of the right planet, and then take out the bridge with a backward tap.
Thanks f97jsw, that method worked for me.
Much easier. Thanks f91jsw!
Very consistent method. ty
Thanks Andreas! I was stuck on 90790 forever and picked up 5K with your advice!
another important tip! dont destroy the ice ‘bricks’ (dont know a better name) with the first shot! because the south tower is out of the way and the second shot can send the ice blocks around the right planet and it makes more damage! not very english i know and i m sorry ;-)
Wow…good “extra” tip andreas189…I had 95820 before coming here and reading post by what seems to be Danno820 and f91jsw basice method. I was focusing first shot on going over first small planet and making sure to break up big ice stones by mushroom as well as taking out bottom (South) structure…thinking of course extra points and then I sent second shot same trajectory but a little closer to the planet to come around the right side and put lazer on bridge up top…good score…but I read your post and thought…o.k….I’ll give it a try…then aimed first bird same basic idea but slightly higher and later split as to purposely miss ice stones as you suggested (honestly, I didn’t see it giving more points) spliting just before bottom (South) structure…then sent secon bird same as before (slightly closer to planet) and aimed lazer at same spot, about mid spot on brifge and sure enough he ignited tnt and cleared everything but debris made contact with BOTH sets of ice stones and both mushroons and improved my score to 98150..Thanks…wonder why it makes such a difference if you break up ice stones/mushrooms with second shot/debris? btw…I did originally get both mushrooms and break ice stones so whatever the reason…it worked, Thanks ;-)
So far so good in DZ…only 10 more to go and above average on all so hoping if I keep it up I will get the DZ Badge ;-)
Worked perfectly, thanks!
Thanks, had some luck with the falling debris for much destruction.
Thanks for this method! Up to 96k, but plenty of damage points avaiable still! :)
Thank you for your strategy
thankyou @Danno820 Laser shot from above, did the trick. Improved my score by 6k.
98,160 with 1 bird. Not the highest, but satisfying, nonetheless. Lots of potential for more points with this strat.
I’ll add my voice to the chorus above about @danno820 ‘s strat. I think I did this one on my own way back when but I have managed to improve today and I will add my two cents. On my iPad in the background are images of mines above the left small plant there is a prong pointing almost horizontal to the right side of the planet. It’s point is round and lighter colored. I aim so the first bb line just touches the lower edge of that circle. I split just as the bb leaves the intersect of the two gravity fields.
Second bird: there is again a mine image between the smaller left planet and the top left planet. Aim for the middle of the three prongs with the target line just touching the tip of this prong. That will take you just skimming the planet.
This point was the most key for me. Aim not at the center of the bridge but at the right lower corner where the wooden “chain” attaches. Redirect the lazer as soon as he clears the planet through this spot. Done correctly he will pass right through and over the large iceball and hit the right most structure and take it down which will start the chain reaction and explode snow balls every where.
I found this is the best method to take out that structure which survives mostly intact any other way.
GL all!
@swelld thanks for the tip on the second bird. With the power-up option blocking the view on getting the angle, you helped me a lot! Improved by 5k. Thank you! :)
@danno820 thanks for the strat! :)
Excellent aiming tips @swelld! Thank you!
@swellD — I also have an iPad, but having difficulty following your aiming tips. Are you zoomed all the way in, or all the way out? For whatever reason, I think my background is different than yours whichever way you zoom. Zoomed all the way in, the larger mine with the lighter colored tips is to the left of the small planet, and you can’t see the large planet. Zoomed all the way out, the large mine is partly behind the small planet, which would work for the first shot, but I don’t see how it would work for the second.
@SwellD — Forget above — Realized I misread strat totally after watching @E-Star‘s video. Actually, I guess I was thinking Danno’s, F97Jsw, and SwellD’s strats were all the same. Back to flinging.
@mvnla2 I’m playing zoomed out so you can see everything. My backgrounder is just like @swelld .
If you look at e-stats video below, my background does not look like hers. I have noticed in the past that my backgrounds don’t always match what people are describing.
It’s awesome when others benefit from a new strat. Glad my orig was able to help spawn some additional great ideas. Happy popping all!
Thanks again @danno820 for the original strat! When I first improved this morning to 101K+, I was playing almost identical to what @swellD posted except the only thing I am doing different is with the second bird. I put my crosshairs on the double stacked tiny wood boxes below the plank that the pigs sit on…on the right (east) structure. I found this to be easier than tapping at the right side of bridge. Sometimes Laser Bird cuts all the way through the structure and flies on around crashing into things for extra points! You’re aiming tips are spot on @swellD, thank you for the tips ;-)
Btw, This time around, I am scoring better by having the large ice boulders explode with the first bird. Fun level ;-D
I have to say that I got my current score with a southern I birder but the best I had with two was 103. The one birder was far harder and wildly varied.
I finally hit 100000 with your strat @danno820, thank you and Ciao.
I hate to be dumb … truly! But I don’t quite understand f97jsw’s directions … I can’t seem to do any of them. sigh …
You have two possible second shots with Laser after taking out the bottom left tower:
1- Danno’s shot, way up above top two planet to target platform/bridge from above.
2- f97jsw’s shot, through north hemisphere of first planet, the gravity will pull the bird down, then enters the second gravity field of center planet, which will redirect the bird upwards towards the platform/bridge above.
Finally got good enough that I killed the piggies with 2 shots … just like the video. 91,935. Thanks everyone SO MUCH!!!
I used the same method as Danno and got 99410.
Here’s my video
Thanks estar. I missed the description that the second bird was from outside and redirected down onto the bridge. Had to watch the video a second time as I missed the 2nd bird being fired and just saw the bridge disappear.
Awesome 98,460 now only one frame in danger below average. Yippee.
@e-star – always with the best strats, and the video to back it up. Added 5,000+ points to my score.
Hi @e-star, I’m following your video and trying wrw01’s 1 bird kill shot, but so far it’s only been a modest increase, but the night’s still young.
Thank you and Ciao.
Thanks great video @e-star!
Because I was able to play happily than I aim at 1-birder, I support you!
Wow it has been so long since I have been in Space, but I am so happy my videos still hold up :D
Thanks everybody for the love!
Thanks @e-star. Your video guides always working :)
Ok, uncle. Where’s the magic hunk of space debris that blows the left side in the video? Cuz it ain’t in my iPhone, that’s for certain.
I see stone blocks falling from the bridge causing the icy asteroid to split.
@amslimfordy Thank you for the ABN video. Worked as a one bird solution. I launched the bb around the southern hemisphere of the left planet around the middle of the space between the planet and gravity field. Split them either right under the planet or right after passing the little planet. I think the “lucky” factor came into play on this one with the splitting asteroids! Wow just amazing to watch.
Level possible with one bird.
Very lucky first shot.
Shoot blue bird halfway between the planet and the gravity field in the southern hemisphere.
Once it crosses to the new gravity field open the three birds before doing contact with the tower.
All ice rock debris should explode in order to take out the bridge.
Score: 99,330
Good luck
95680/1
many thx to @domo for the details
here my video:
https://youtu.be/LGCNB6AV-xg
After a half hour of shooting and all it gives me is another 840 points, I have to milk this one for the 1200 more points I need for the badge.
I was able to raise it by almost 3k, so I’ll finally get the Badge, this Danger Zone gave me a harder time than POTJ, I’m glad it’s finally over.
Danno’s method did not work for me. I got my score of 96k by using the strat pretty much same as Dunno, except second shot –
First Bird – Aim BB same as Dunno. To northern hemisphere of left Planet, close to the planet. Split Blue Bird late, and take out the bottom structure.
( I could not manage to detonate the ice asteroids)
Second Bird – Aim Lazer Bird at the same trajectory , as the first shot.
It should go round the Right Planet. When it is below the hanging bridge, redirect it into the bridge & debris will detonate the TNT. And starts chain Reaction between the Ice Asteroids.
I finally got a 1 bird finish using the video strategy. Previous score was 97k with 2 birds. Today after playing southbound and northbound strats, I finally hit the the right spot with the blues using the south (under the planet) approach. Gained 6k on my score. So both of the prime strategies could get the good results with 1 bird. This just takes a lot of persistence as usual. :-)
