One strategy for Danger Zone level 11 is to send the Ice bird to the extreme right of the level, causing the icy asteroid to break apart. As the structures collapse, the TNT in the middle can detonate to clear the entire level. The score in the video below is 101,030.

Another level that frustrates, the TNT rarely seems to blow even when things land on it solidly. You have to take plenty of shots and get a lucky one where the TNT does go off.

It does take a few attempts and some luck, but when the first shot is done right you get a pretty consistent result.

@rexster I feel your pain – took me many, many attempts to get a score that I’m fairly happy! At least on the plus side it doesn’t take long to play a level and see what score you’ll get, meaning you can play it a lot of times in a short amount of time! :)

In my frustration with getting a 1-birder on this level, when unsuccessful with the 1st shot, tried shooting the bomb bird to land on the upper edge of the stone blocks on the lower left. If triggered just before it comes to rest, it can take out the rest of the level. My highest score with this method was 101K; enough for 3*

I was able to get several one birdies pretty quickly but only managed high score of 103265…I did get the mushroom so I’m not really sure what to do to get the higher scores? I got several one birdies for a score of 101K and below…my best two bird was 101K as well.

I have a vague memory of going at this level through the stone blocks below the near tower. I think I froze them then used the bomb bird to get the TNT to blow the level. Don’t quote me on that just yet though.

Getting a little of the new crop of ABN folks lying about scores. Where is the integrity? Any level where top score is 5000+ higher than everyone else is suspect.

I flagged it, it ends in a five which I don’t think possible after FMTTM update, but he could have used a prior version. Still, afte wasting an hour to up my score I decided to check the leaderboards for that level… What a waste of everyone’s time. If I didn’t see the “off high score by” 30k in the first place I’d have chosen another level.

Question: don’t the blinking red lights by the TNT and the hollow ice block on the right imply the two are connected (as in destroying one will destroy the other?)… Or is that just for the white antennas you sometimes see on a pig’s head?

The one birder gave me an headache it didn’t happen yet. Personally I did it with 2.
Icebird pushes the concrete tower on the left to the side. Debris falls trough glass roof and does tnt.
Bombbird to the right tower into the flashing light.

Erm hmmmmm @Kathy I’m still on 7! LOL But I scarily remember this level! I did it like the video but I remember playing around with where the bird hit, only prob is I’m not sure where it hit to give me my score!! But yeah I followed the video for sure, couldn’t get other strats to work for me. Sorry I can’t give you more, when I finally get here if I figure out something to help and you still need it, I’ll write it down for you! :)

Yes @Kimmiecv he brought me to my senses i went to restore and it says play one level, in my haste i played what o only thought i could PB didn’t worked then i realized DZ was unlocked so i played one level of that and thank God it worked

Lol leave it to a teen to see the sense in craziness of games like this..

I got my best score with the video method. Up to that point I had been sending the ice bird I into the first tower, bomb bird to back. But was not able to get over average with that method so came here – tried the video method and hit the sweet spot with ice bird. Using the background it’s pretty easy to get consistent results.

Like the video except I sent the ice bird a tiny bit lower so it hits the triangle pretty much dead centre, so the ice bird slides down to where the mushroom is, I found it more reliable to clear out the right side that way. Then rinse & repeat :)

Used same strategy as video sending frosty bird to far right. The lucky part is getting the TNT to explode then it’s all history from there. My 3star was 104,940 but I will try for better.

Nothing much to say about it. I used the one-birder solution. There is a sweet spot, or a sweet direction for Ice Bird that allows to get a nearly perfect cleaning of the right side of the level (maybe 20% of the time), but you need to activate manually. Once you have found this, it is a matter of trying, retrying and trying again in order to get a good crumble of the left part after TNT ignition.

When one performs a one-birder, the left tower collapse is rarely efficient. This is seen by the fact that from time to time it is efficient to send Bomb on the pile of rubble (after having it skim above the stone triangle on which the tower laid), which can give as much as 15k. I had already gotten 100k+ when using Bomb this way, which meant that a perfect crumble of the tower could allow for a 110k+ one-birder, which I finally got after several hours of tries. I would say that 112k is probably possible, but given the fact that my second best was 107k, I presume that my 110630 score was a lucky fluke, so that getting one or two thousand points more could possibly take a very long time.

Tried the video method, couldn’t make it work. What did work: Send Ice Bird down to the concrete blocks blocking the tunnel to the TNT. It helps if he settles on top of them so he’s touching as many as possible. Freeze them. Send Bomb Bird right into the frozen blocks. He’ll shatter them and trigger the TNT, blowing everything sky-high. With a little luck, the flying debris takes out all the pigs and the mushroom. My score was 98,110, which is just high enough to get three stars.

I got tired of waiting for a lucky collapse of the left tower on the one bird solution. I never got above 109k on what I thought were great collapses. Plus there were a lot of poor collapses before I’d get a good one. Very boring and I hate luck levels.
So I went another way. A two bird stRATegy where you’re rewarded for skill on both shots.
1st shot at the base of the left tower. It was fun to watch most of the debris get destroyed.
2nd shot at the base of the remnants of the middle tower. Barely clear the planet’s structure.
Top score for now but 113k is possible. Sorry @sglouk.

110850 with two birds.

A slightly different second bird, useful especially if the middle tower is still standing.
So Bomb a little higher to the middle of the right structure, that will fall down before the explosion.

Top score using the 2-birds strat shown in @comex666‘s vid. A few remarks:
* To ignite TNT with 1st bird, you must destroy on impact one of the two horizontal stone slabs of tower. Precise aiming is required, but with a very good repeatability. Destroying upper slab leads to more complete destruction (= less debris), however destroying lower slab gives higner scores: as often, what matters is not the amounft of debris you destroy, but how you destroy them. 60k is possible (and probably mandatory) after 1st shot
* I still do not understand how to proceed with 2nd shot. Bomb’s ignition moment is crucial but it is unclear what is the best option/trajectory. I have the impression that a good thing to do is to have Bomb to graze just above icy ground before going through the stone triangle on which the small tower lied, and activate soon after impact on that stone, however I am unsure why. Probably a higher initial trajectory with low velocity is better.
