Angry Birds Space Cosmic Crystals Level 7-8 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Space Cosmic Crystals level 7-8 is to break the northwestern planet, either directly with the Red bird or by deflecting the nearby asteroid. The domino effect should clear the north half of the level. Aim the second Red bird toward the gem at the far south. Red should deflect through the small nearby planet, eliminating its gravitational field and pulling asteroids onto pigs. The score in the video below is 117,830.

This seems to be hardest level to get 100% destruction. Struggling to find a strategy

Almost like the video. First shot a little closer to the edge of the gravity field, bird goes through the crystal instead of knocking an asteroid through it for 77-78k. Second shot like the video to clean up. Quite possibly the most repeatable near high score technique ever. It would be hard not to get 118k. I think someone may eventually get a 1-birder on this though.

Ha, just did it twice but failed to break lower left crystal planetoid, but only got 114k. Shot to the under edge of the closest gravity field to hit the boulder up to the top crystal planetoid. Bird looped around to the lower section and hit an asteroid. I still think a big score 1-birder is possible.

And you’d be correct @dmsral ;-))) I just got a pretty good one birdie with your strat of shooting under the left crystal to hit the boulder up to top crystal. Red looped around and ended up at the bottom right tnt planet where he circled once and landed on the tnt! It was a beautiful thing ;-) I got all the crystals except the one on the very bottom planet with all the large purple crystals on it ;-) The top right tnt did explode but I didn’t get a full collapse on that planet. I’ll post a screenshot of what the remains looked like shortly. Thanks for the idea of going under.

Thanks again…obviously it can go quite higher with getting that bottom crystal and a total collapse of top right planet ;-)

@dmsral – Thanks for the tip! I was trying the method showed in the video, but didn’t get enough points. Then I tried aiming the first red like you told and there it was! :D After the first bird I had almost 79k and then the second one took care of the rest :D

@dmsral and @lesleyg – Thanks for trying but it’s been a long time since I’ve failed so miserably at one of you guy’s strats. I’ve shot this several hundred times now and have yet to get red to the south side of the screen. On the exrremely rare occasions that red doesn’t smack that boulder in the middle right it hits the wood hut underneath it.

@78RPM – I’m sorry it’s not working for you. I know it is very frustrating when you know what you want your birds to do but they will just not cooperate!
It’s a tough shot with a lot of rinse and repeat…as you know!
Try sending Red just inside the gravity circle…so that he ends up in the little space where the gravity circles overlap, just under the boulder. He should end up in the South side more often. May the “L” factor be with you ;-)))

Good strategy @dmsral. But you forgot to tell flingers to tilt their iPad. It’s a similar technique to leaning when you want a bowling ball to go just a bit further to the left or right. Every little bit helps. lol

First bird as close as possible below the big left crystal. It goes between the 2 rocks straight through the top golden diamond and then everything bounces forward. Second bird as video to the bottom left diamond. Very repeatable 117-118k score

After obsessing over this level for hours, trying all the different strats, this is the one that finally gave me a top score.

Either of these shots can be first or second. The order doesn’t really seem to matter.

1 bird through the upper left atmosphere, close to the edge, through the little top asteroid. You want to see 77K or 78K.

1 bird (and this is where I differ from other strats) aim in front of the bottom yellow jewel, landing on the flat crystal just in front of the jewel. aiming about from the middle to 2/3rds closest to the gem. This will cause the bird to jump up and hit the jewel above it, bounce up and come down and take out the little asteroid, then with luck continue down and take out a piece or two of debris. These little points can make a difference. 31K is good (presuming you use it for first shot) Good luck!

One bird. Like the video. Red bird continued around to the bottom. Got caught in the gravity of the globe with the TNT. Eventually hit the TNT after 6 or 7 orbits. Got everything except the yellow jewel on the lower left.

Does anyone have the key to getting TD on this level? Really struggling and don’t want to waste more space eagles. I’ve gotten 94 percent so far but can’t manage to clear everything with 1 eagle. I believe that’s what it takes since I got 94 with red bird clearing everything and then flinging the can to a random spot.
