Angry Birds Space Cosmic Crystals Level 7-5 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Space Cosmic Crystals level 7-5 is to send the Blue birds north of the planet, splitting at the end to pop the three little pigs on the east side of the level. Now send a Red bird straight ahead, dropping a mace onto the crystal planet beyond. The score in the video below is 70,150.

I did it exactly like @bikkit described but this time I aimed lower and splitted the bird so that it pushed in the western mace and also the one beneath it. Maces destroyed the crystal planet. Those three piggies on the right stayed alive so I had to use the second bird to kill them. I aimed pretty much straight ahead so that the red bird hit the lower crystal “mountain” and bounced and killed all three pigs :D

I aim BB at lower pair of spikes on west side, On the edge of upper stone ball of pair. Split as soon as the bird leaves the slingshot. Two pairs of spikes should fall on the planet and planet get blasted. Luckily, Some debris of the planet will fall on the three piggies on the right.

I always hated it when the 2 maces didn’t bust the planet. So I made notes where to aim to have the highest chance to have the explosion after the first bird. I always reloaded when it did not happen.

Looks like I can throw away those notes, because two birds is the way to do it. Now I have notes where to aim so that the maces do not bust the planet.

Thank you @Sigrid for that out-of-the-box idea. Improved my score by 7k with your way. Just came in 10 points behind you to leave you the honor of top score ;-)

The two that are missing on my PC are the top and bottom ones closest to the planet. The angles on both devices seem to be the same for the 6 pairs, and the extra maces can’t be reached directly with the birds, but there is certainly potential for higher scores when those extra maces are hit with debris.

Anchors Away Two? I managed to get 4 sets of maces on the crystal without breaking it. As I was contemplating what to do, I noticed that one of the maces moved and my score went up. Here is a screenshot from shortly after I noticed the score was going up. http://angrybir.de/19RcWt6 I let it go hoping the crystal would eventually break. After an hour or so, I checked it again. Here is the screenshot. http://angrybir.de/19RdrTY Notice that not only is the score higher, but the maces on the side toward the planet have moved and are now directly over the piggies. Now I really was hoping the crystal would break because I thought there was a good chance that the maces would be blown right into the piggies. I let it go again for over an hour. Here is the screenshot. http://angrybir.de/H5CnRN This time, the maces on the right side hadn’t moved, but the top left maces moved a little clockwise. My score had gone from 6630 to 8060. Unfortunately, the score didn’t seem to go up after that and the crystal never broke, but I may try it again.

I must be missing something here. Using every strategy on this page, I knock between 2 and 4 pairs of maces to surface. Planet explodes. Debris blows out into space. RARELY one pig gets popped by a stray shard. Max points ~65k

It doesn’t help that these descriptions of which target are confusing:

1.the two left most maces – two leftmost PAIRS or maces on the same chain? If pairs, then there’s three of those that qualify as leftmost.

2. First bird pushes two of the top spikes – Huh? The top/12:00 ones aren’t hittable. And again, two maces on same chain, or two pairs? I have no idea.

For those who use the “knock down 3rd and 4th pairs from the top with blue, then bump in 5th and 6th with red” technique, how are you getting 5&6 into the field so fast? When I try it, even if I insta-fire red bird at the earliest it allows me, the two pairs blue knocked in land and explode the sphere before 5&6 get far enough inside the field to matter. All they do is fly back into space.

Don’t mean to sound gripey at anyone’s posts, it’s just this level irritates me greatly, and all the ambiguous descriptions of maces/pairs/locations are really confusing :)

I just had something cool happen on this level. Using @rat9 ‘s great strategy, I failed horribly as usual, but the bottom right mace (I mean mace-chain-mace) wound up on the right planet and killed the middle and right pig. It then seemed to forget the wood and stone blocks were attached to it. The mace ball would try to fall down through a block, and the block would vanish and reappear half-submerged beneath the planet surface, pushing it’s way up, while the mace bounced on it. Once the block hit the surface, the mace would continue bouncing on it while it kept appearing on the outer rim of the mace ball, and inside/overlapping the mace ball. It’d do this for about 10-15 seconds, walking slowly to the left, then stop for a few minutes. Eventually, it sandwiched the left pig against the mountain and stayed there for 30 min repeating the bounce cycle. Occasionally, the other attached mace would bounce on one of its stone blocks for some points. It then started walking back to the right a little bit, then reversed direction and nestled up against the pig again. It took about an hour before the pig finally died.

The neat thing? all that bouncing gave me 10,800 damage points! Nothing ever broke, and the pig dying was what ended the level. My awful first shot meant another sub-average score, but this seems like the kind of opportunity that gets those 90k+ scorers doing a happy dance. :)

The trick is simple as pie: If the mace rests on one block, it’ll bounce and walk. If that block is broken in transit, the mace will stably rest on two blocks and do nothing.

Got 8,000 bounce points this time, although it just occurred to me that telling YOU about this potential goldmine was a REALLY bad idea. :)

Seeing something similar, first two shots ended up with four pairs of maces on the crystal planet, but it did not break. Right now the maces are slowly “walking” around the crystal planet bumping into each other, etc. I have let it run for about two hours now, and accumulated about 1,000 points so far. Cracks on the crystal planet keep getting bigger, so hoping when it breaks it will send enough debris down to the other to pop the pigs there. Fingers crossed!

Yep, that sounds like the same thing, just a different planet. @stocktoad had the same thing happen in the ‘Anchors Away Two’ post above. Not sure which planet would give more damage, but since the exploding one has a finite limit and the east one doesn’t, my guess is the latter. It is a tough shot. I got 3 maces on boom planet and the southernmost moving in that direction with enough speed to overcome the explosion and still lands on the east planet intact. If it lands on the exploding planet and breaks it, it’s usually destroyed.

One more note, it works better if the mace lands on a stone square instead of a wooden one. They tend to break sooner, which ends the fun :)

I wish I’d read the upper comments closer. Tried this one way too many times before noticing @hunnybunny ‘s reply that the ~85k+ scores aren’t possible anymore.
