One strategy for Cold Cuts level 2-5 is to freeze the top of the middle circle with the Ice bird. Send the Blue bird at a slightly higher trajectory, splitting through the frozen blocks. The gaps in the circular structure weaken it and gravity will force them to bounce. With a little luck — and time — the right circle may hit the TNT, shooting up, and wiping out the rest of the pigs. If this doesn’t work, try to hit the TNT with the Lazer Bird.

This level is killing me – anyone have an alternative?
yeah! this level is breaking my head!
I found an approach on youtube that worked for three stars. Involved dropping the first ice bird between the first two circles, followed by Blue. This kills the pig in the middle. Use Laser on the third. Then final ice and blue kill the first pig. Check youtube.
This is the best strategy… Throw the first ice between 1st and 2nd circle, them throw the blue birds perpendicular at this two circles.. this will destroy the 1st and 2nd pigs… Then throw the laser on the wood block on 3rd cicle…
I got 44k but spending two more birds than this strategy ^

I just got the ice bird between the first 2(getting as much ice as i could on the 1st one), used the 3 blues to distroy the 2nd circle, purple through the 2 wood blocks to distroy the 1st cirlce and then the ice bird on the last circle and the 3 blues again. I found the trick to getting the high score is to get either a bird or stone brick to blow the tnt. without that you wont get the max points.
I got 44895 with this method
I fired the Lazer left, around the globe and got it to hit and break the wood on the 3rd globe, also blowing the TNT. 50,030 3 stars…
I also used this strategy, 51720.
This level is killing me! I’ve been trying it for the past hour, i can’t 3-star it!
1) First ice bird so that it just bounces off the middle hoop and also touches the third.
2) Blue bird so that it breaks the ice on both hoops and kills the pigs within. Remnants of third hoop also detonate dynamite.
3) Laser bird through a wood block in first hoop to kill the pig.
With two birds left over, that earned 62160. Not quite enough for top score.
I found it easier to shoot the laser bird rightward. Then click on the outer edge of the asteroid … Laser will shoot to asteroid, bounce off it and aimed right, it’ll set off the TNT.., not as hard as it sounds… Much easier than going around the planet.
Very luck 2-birder. If I remember correctly (and it was early this morning!) bounced off first the 2 structures. Then TNT and debris took care of the rest. Haven’t been able to replicate shot, and gave up trying.
And, there were no “double counted” birds, either. Just dumb luck!
Start same as video with freeze bird. Shoot bb so with low trajectory and break before hitting 2nd ring. One bb needs to roll over 3rd ring and explode dynamite. laser bird through double wood blocks 1st ring.
Maybe someone here can give me some advice on this one… how are you guys managing to hit the freeze bird like the video? I aim it at the area between the wood block and the rock behind it like the video shows and one of two things happens:
1) it gets stuck there
2) it freezes those bricks like the video but then bounces absurdly high and over the last ring.
Try to aim at the right wood/stone junction of the middle circle. You should be able to get the wanted bounce.
@celicynd the trick is to just hit Freeze Bird right on the intersection of the stone and the wood. If you hit the stone the Freeze Bird will deflect off target. If you hit the wood Freeze Bird will stop dead. At just the right spot Freeze Bird will freeze the top of the second circle structure then roll gently down between 2nd and 3rd freezing a large section.

Count me in! This is terrible, isn’t it? I am going to try loox’s method with bouncing the lazer bird to hit the tnt. I just want to break 50K. That’s not too much to ask, is it? :)

Get the ice bird to bounce of second and explode on top of third. Take triple bird and time it right where first gets through second ring, second gets through third ring, and third little bird rolls down far edge of third ring to fall on TNT. The. It’s just the laser bird through the wood on the first ring. 51360- three stars
I aimed the ice bird for the middle ring, breaking the wooden block and falling in the ring, making the lower half ice. The blue birds I shot with an arch just so the third bird bounces of the last ring, detonating the TNT. Lazer bird finishes the last remaining piggie in the first circle. I know it’s not one of the highest score here, but I managed to get 54670.
Almost got in the car with Sunshine and Kathy on the road I-29 & I-30 to crazy, but managed to keep things to getter and moved on to the next. Maybe I’ll come back to this one.

Did it as shown in the video. Shot the first bird at the wood/stone intersection of the 2nd bird and froze a large chunk of bricks. then shot the second bird a little higher, splitting so that it destroyed as much bricks as possible. This destroyed 3 bricks of the 3rd ring. The pig inside was already popped. The 3rd ring already took a decent hit from the blue birds and was already lying on the tnt but it didnt explode. I just waited and after a minute or so the tnt blew up after all. A small piece of the ring landed on the first ring similar as in the video. Since the rings are constantly wobbling, friction eventually destroyed the top part of the first ring and the debris fell through, killing the pig.
73070 with 3 birds left.
This is how I did it too. After the TNT blew the third ring a piece of it landed on the first ring and broke a couple of bricks, but the pig didn’t fall immediately. I just laid my phone down and watched the rings wobble against one another until two stone bricks finally fell into the crack destroying the final pig.
wow…that’s alot of strats!!! I think mine is similar to some but here goes anyway…First I’d like to say I might be the only one who actually likes this level, lol…although I would still be up for the girls vaca mentioned above, tee hee…my second try at this level was identical to parallel’s mentioned above with a score of 58K something..then I came here and read everyone’s and the walkthrough and thought let me try the first bird between the first two rings, etc but that just didn’t work for me so I went back to my original way and about two tries later I got a better score by aiming first bird to the middle ring, which actually killed the pig this time, second bird for a long trajectory to try and get one of them to roll of third ring and hit tnt like it happened the first time, but no…but did do some damage to the now ice in the middle ring,and wobbled up the third ring a little bit then lazer bird thru wood of first stucture, then forth and final bird thru the wood of the third ring which froze and killed pig and caused the concrete to ignite the tnt. crazy…but fun level for me as there seems to be several ways to get three stars where it doesn’t really seem like one’s too much better then the rest, just different ;-)

Yes, @lesleyg I do believe you are the only one who likes this level. Since it is today’s challenge, however, I did want to improve my score. There are quite a few stats on this one, but if you want to improve your score, the key to all of them is wait. No matter which one you use, after each shot note the score, go do something else for 10 minutes, come back and check the score again. If the score is the same, take your next shot. If the score is higher, wait for ten minutes again……and again……you get the idea. I think the strat of @rasuli might be the best one for a really high score, but unless you get really lucky, it might take a long time to accomplish. I don’t have enough patience to wait for the one birder so 66,710 with 3 birds is enough for me. I hope to never play this one again.
@stocktoad – yeah…I guess I was enjoying it that day but…not so much today, lol. I DON’T like the “waiting” levels! I didn’t realize back when I first played this level it was one of those, lol. I don’t have the patience to wait when I’m trying to actually play…but just as you I came here to try and improve a little for the Challenge and did improve over 4K so that’s good enough for me too.
As many others…I bounced Lazer of the second ring to freeze some of it and the third one…waited probably 10 minutes max and accumulated about 11K -12K points and became impatient so I sent the blues to hit second and third rings…they wobbled about…third one ignited tnt which sent some of the third ring on top of the first ring…and I didn’t feel like waiting it out very long so I sent the third bird (Lazer) into to finish off the first ring. Pretty typical results but I still improved and and moving along now! Thanks ;-)

This is the last one I have to enterscore for…I hate this one worse than 2-2…maybe. lol its a tough choice they are both hard..I will probably never make it through dz:(
I shot Ice so that it bounced off the second ring, then triggered it to freeze a section of the third. This removes the flexibility in the frozen sections allowing friction to begin working on the structure. Eventually the rings break, and then begin wearing out one block at a time. The third structure will work its way on to the TNT, and hopefully a piece lands on the first ring. All piggies can be destroyed this way.
How could someone have over 80k on this level? That’s impoossible…is there an explanation for a score this high? Or a strat I should ask…srry I just don’t believe it:(
This strat should yield at least an average score. Shoot ice in a high arc so that he lands between the first two rings, he will freeze a significant chunk of both. Let them sit for a bit and grind on each other. You should be able to get up to around 20k with this first shot, maybe more depending on how long you wait. It is possible that the middle ring will bump ring number three and blow the wole thing in one bird. After ring two is out of the way, try to get the blues under ring three to push the entier ring into the TNT. If this does not work, you still have lazer plus two bonus birds for a score in the 50 – 60k range.

Level 4 of Danger Zone is just a structure the Pigs built in a rush. They aren’t the greatest or the most careful engineers out there.

I did it! Ty burbman:) I got the ice bird to bounce off #2. Into the wood of #1 so it went inside…then I waited…waited about a half hour. #2 and #3 eventually bounce and killed piggie in #2 left a hole in #3 the top off #3 now on top of #1…so I waited still about 20 minutes. Shot bb’s to split above #2 low to try and roll into tnt thought I messesed up but it worked…now only #1 remaining I waited to see if it ould bounce itself out but endedup shooting lazer into the wood side….2 birdies left for 20k :).ty and ty sunshinee for your support. Sorry dbuh for questioning yoyr score goid job:)

Sorry, Hated 2-2 just waiting for the average to catch up to me again so I have to give it another go. Others notes on 2-24 are pretty good, I just followed their directions.
Best way to get the ice bird in between 2 & 3 is to power it down a bit and try to bounce off the very top of the second ring. The farther it slides between the two rings before it freezes everything the better. I am suprised you were able to get a score that high using three birds! There is hope for a really high score on this level if the one bird approach ever works out for me then!

I FINALLY got a score of 63 and change but in addition to being incredibly hard, it was incredibly boring. Just sitting there waiting for something
to maybe happen, just drove me nuts. I’m used to a faster paced AB and that’s what I like about it. Glad it’s behind me.
But I do have a question. I did not upgrade DZ the first time around and now I can’t find it anywhere. Can someone please tell me how to

This level is driving me spacey! It is definitely a challenge for sure. I have tried all sorts of different approaches and still can’t get anywhere near most of you for a higher score. Not giving up just yet though. I know it will take the right power pull, angle and release timing (for the BBs). Thank you all for sharing the strategy!
This one is superbly annoying! I have it on my nook, and no matter what strategy I try, I am always a little off. Any other suggestions? Thanks
Launched ice bird and hit top of 2nd circle and landed on the 3rd circle. Did not pull the sling all the way back. It helps to lessen the bounce to the 3rd circle.
Launched the blue bird and broke the 2nd and 3rd circles. The 3rd blue bird hit the tnt. A piece of the 3rd circle flew up and hit the first circle along with its pig.
Patiente here is the key. I land first bird in between second and third circle (after bounce on top of second one. For this, zoom out and look at the white strip going from the bird to the second circle. Put the end of the dotted line on upper part of this strip. If your bird (after bouncing on second circle)lands on top of third, RESTART and aim a little lower. If it smashes on second, aim a little higher.
THEN WAIT.
Freezed circles will start to move and touch each other for minutes giving you points (about 2500) while breaking slowly
When no more action is seen (3-4 minutes maybe more), fire blue bird a little lower than previous shot; it should break both circles and remaining parts will be moving with “the wind” until right part of third circle blows TNT and luckily fly over to the top of the first circle. Sometimes it breaks it a little, but if don´t, please
WAIT
One again, touching structures will be adding points and finaly there will be a break in the circle and first pig is over.
I made 76150 first time I did it, but I´m sure it could be more if you have time enough to try.
Your strategy seems like it could help, but what strip? I can’t seem to get it in between the 2nd and 3rd circle, no matter what I try.
This strat is cash money. The strip he is referring to is the swirl in the background.
Ok… now I think I see the strip. But the iPad has a different background than the iPhone, so it doesn’t line up exactly as you say… I’ll have to try something else.

Rather than wait for friction to wear down the rings, you can also accomplish a quick 60.000 point 2-bird shot with a little luck…
Shot one: skim the ice bird full power over the first ring, manually trigger to freeze the top of the middle ring. You can do this consistently.
Shot 2: full power, shoot low. Activate to go through the ice on the first ring. The other two projectiles will take out the pig in the second ring and the third projectile will roll over the top of ring three to trigger the tnt. You can also do this fairly consistently. The luck you require is to get the breaking third ring to take out the pig inside. This only happens about 10% of the time.
